    Truly an extraordinary dining experience. Great ambience, great service and the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and we have had some very good ones in many places in the world (not to brag, but just to give some context). Not inexpensive by any means, but worth it and memorable.

    Dinner was wonderful. Jason was our server. He was so nice to chat with, . provided us with recommendations and encouraged us to take our time and not rush. My manager ordered the schnitzel and recommended the mango ice which was wonderful. I had the salmon and the tiramisu for dinner. It was a great night out.

    From beginning our evening with cocktails to ending with dinner and dessert was fantastic! Our server Tyler was very experienced with the menu and made our experience that much more enjoyable. Cannot wait to return! The dumpling appetizer and chicken dinner were family favs!

    If restaurants are defined by their food than Bymark would be defined as lacklustre and or subpar. Although the scenery and the location were both fantastic, the bang for your buck aspect was horrendous. So, did the service follow suit? Absolutely not. Where the food fell short, the service exceeded any establishment I had been to in the past. From being greeted by the sommelier at the start of our night to all of our food arriving quickly and in a gorgeous fashion I would say the service at Bymark is second to none. Let’s be honest the service can only carry you so far and when you look past it, you’re left with nothing but food that is way too average for the very much above average price tag. Would I return to Bymark? No, I think I’ll try my luck at Jack Astor’s next time.

    Was on a bit of a tight timeline trying to squeeze dinner in before going to BlueJays game. I went with the Veal Schnitzel and enjoyed it immensely. The service was quick as I requested.

    Food and service were outstanding and the ambiance was amazing! my only comment is that the shrimp soup (Special on that day) was too mild as it looks like so plain needed some flavour, otherwise all good:)

    Several unset tables and the restaurant was not busy, music was excellent but very quiet. Food excellent. The restaurant looked exhausted after a busy happy hour shift. Hope it gets busy again in the financial district.

    A very positive experience- delightful setting (we dined outside) - very friendly service - good wine selection - service was not hurried, which was nice, but disappointing if you were expecting otherwise. Certainly would go again!

    In all of my recent experience with restaurants around Toronto, this was by far the worst that I felt the need to write a review. The food was incredibly bad and not worth the visit. Service was not good at all.

    I always have an amazing experience at ByMark. Great food, incredible service, delicious drinks. We had a large party of 8 and we feasted in oysters, dumplings, tacos, brioche bread, calamari and various mains. Everyone raved about the meal and experience!

    My chicken dish was dry, everything was crazy over priced and not worth it. We ordered 2 side dishes and they never came, our appetizers were way over priced for what we got. There was 2 tables including ours in the restaurant on a Saturday night… must say a lot. Was not impressed and won’t be back.

    Delightful Attentiveness. The outdoor patio is a rare treat in a busy downtown. The food is fine. But it was the warmth, attentiveness and humanity of all the servers that made it a special evening.

    I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as it came highly recommended by a friend. Every bite of my dish (sea bream) had tiny bones in it that I had to spit out. The resto reduced the price of the dish by half which was an ok solution. My fiancé had the salmon and it was very good and did not have any bones. I’m wondering if they just forgot to debone my fish. The atmosphere is very nice.

    Salmon was beyond well done. When I asked for a roll I was told I could buy bread for $6 and it would take 15 mins! Very expensive for what you think you are getting.

    I was very disappointed- invited my client for lunch, we placed our order and an hour later we were still waiting. My client had to leave and got his meal to go. It was embarrassing for me and unexpected as I always bring clients for lunch at Bymark!

    It wasn’t too busy but the server was super slow, everything was super slow. Both my colleague and I ordered the same steak but different size. They were unable to tell which steak is 6oz which is 8/10oz when they served our main.
