It’s warm and cozy on this well heated patio even it was -21c outside last night.
Unfortunately the food were disappointing. We ordered steak tartare as appetizer, not much meat on bread; veal Schnitzel was so dry and thin, it’s hard to swallow; smoke duck tastes good but very small portion.
Service was below expectation for an upscale restaurant.

Food and service are always professional and well executed. Had the grilled octopus and the schnitzel, which is one of my all-time favourites, covered in arugula which makes me feel a bit less guilty about the dish. Octopus was grilled perfectly. Wine list is very deep and was needed on this occasion. Really appreciate the effort they consistently put in to stay open and provide great service. KG

Just had dinner at Bymark - I was extremely disappointed with the veal schnitzel - I wasn't able to eat more than a couple of bites. It was drenched in oil which pooled at the bottom of the plate, every piece I cut had oil dripping off onto the salad. didn't have the heart to bring it up with the server since he never asked why I didn't touch the main - other than that it was a good dinner.
My server was amazing, a good balance between professional and casual service. He wasnt too formal, but was attentive and well-mannered. Other patrons were so loud, it was rude. Food was great.

Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. The menu was great and the wine was excellent (although we were disappointed to learn it was the last bottle - I would have had something else to allow my guests to enjoy it more). The decor/tables seemed a bit basic compared to the much higher quality of the food. Still, I didn't go there for a table - I went to eat, so for that, it was a successful night, and I would gladly return.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday and started with the lobster poutine and wagyu beef dumplings which was delicious!
Entrees were duck confit pasta and white tiger prawns pasta. Both were tasty. Dessert was the pumpkin spice layer cake and the creme brulee donuts. The donuts were definitely the highlight of the meal !
Disappointing. Doesn’t worth the hype…. Thé food is average. Makes me think of a restaurant that is tired and doesn’t put the effort anymore

I was surprised at the quality of food - seemed low given the price point.
Fabulous service, food was excellent, everything was a beautiful portion so we left feeling fed but not over stuffed. Drinks were refreshing, wine list was paired to dishes, and we loved that we could share the add ons.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Toronto. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Toronto!

We had dinner in the dining area, which is below street level, and is a beautiful and intimate space. Service from everyone, from the hostess to the rest of the staff, was fantastic. Jason was our waiter. He was attentive and friendly. The drinks were tasty - I highly recommend their Paper Plane. The burger is the best in the city, and along with the fries, is worth every dollar. The lobster grilled cheese is also delicious and my husband's favourite - it is deceptively small, because it is actually quite filling. We are definitely returning!
The meal was amazing, but can’t say enough about the service. Not a typical place to bring a toddler to, but they were more than accommodating for us, with a kid sized portion of an entree and bringing other things to help entertain. Highly recommend
I highly recommend the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. It’s a decadent treat.
Always waited or had to call waiters
Wagu beef dumplings are amazing. Had the always outstanding Bymark burger which after so many years is still the best burger in the City. Was on the patio which is heated and covered with tropical plants. Was raining and windy outside bur warm and cozy on the patio. Will be back soon. Bymark never disappoints.

Overall, we had an excellent experience at Bymark. The ambience was nice and the food was delicious - we will definitely be back! We had the Burrata, focaccia and a couple of burgers. Amazing!
The server was really good, however, the place seemed understaffed so she wasn’t as attentive as you might expect.
All in all, a lovely night out - felt so good being back out dining!
The food was delicious! Every morsel was savoured. The service was attentive and detailed. All our dishes were plentiful except the tuna tartare which was very small compared to other restaurants.
Their banana cream pie was a winner.

Overpriced for the quality of service and timing of the food. Our food took very long to come out and when it did, it was lukewarm at best. Our server also seemed as if he was either rushed or disinterested in providing the kind of service you would expect at a fine dining establishment. My experiences at Buca, Lee’s and Morton’s far surpass Bymark. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience I recommend the wonderful restaurants I mentioned above instead.
Great service and great food! Burger didn’t disappoint and swordfish was delicious. Wagyu beef dumplings so good! Only item I didn’t love was the pumpkin spice dessert… but chocolate bar was quite good!
