Delightful Attentiveness. The outdoor patio is a rare treat in a busy downtown. The food is fine. But it was the warmth, attentiveness and humanity of all the servers that made it a special evening.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as it came highly recommended by a friend. Every bite of my dish (sea bream) had tiny bones in it that I had to spit out. The resto reduced the price of the dish by half which was an ok solution. My fiancé had the salmon and it was very good and did not have any bones. I’m wondering if they just forgot to debone my fish. The atmosphere is very nice.

Salmon was beyond well done. When I asked for a roll I was told I could buy bread for $6 and it would take 15 mins! Very expensive for what you think you are getting.

I was very disappointed- invited my client for lunch, we placed our order and an hour later we were still waiting. My client had to leave and got his meal to go. It was embarrassing for me and unexpected as I always bring clients for lunch at Bymark!

Great overall experience at Bymark. The food was incredible and the service was also very good. It was a special date night, so we knew the bill would be quite large after enjoying 3 courses and a nice bottle of wine. Can’t afford it all the time, but a nice little treat to ourselves! Recommend to anyone 👍

Went for dinner on a Saturday night with my husband and brother-in-law. I really enjoyed the burrata appetizer and duck entree! If I could have that quality of food at every high-end Toronto restaurant I'd be thrilled (Toronto is a sea of mediocre, but expensive, restaurants in my opinion). But my husband and brother-in-law felt their salmon and halibut were only good but not great. The service, I felt was standard if a bit slow - though only for us it seems. After being seated for 20-25 min we only had our sparkling water and no one had taken our food order. It's possible our waiter took a lot of time trying to find the unavailable bottle of wine we ordered but still... The table beside us, who sat down after us, were already getting their appetizers and they had ordered a bottle of wine too.

The service was excellent! The ambiance was quiet and intimate. We had the shrimp tacos and calamari apps which were both excellent. Two pastas as mains, cheesecake and donuts for dessert. There wasn’t a bad bite from start to finish. Well worth the price, met and even exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Most incredible meal and evening!! Very well served by Jason. Food service was exquisite. Started with beef carpaccio and 1/2 dozen oysters….best apps ever!!! Then some 2-bite fish tacos. Again, fabulous little nuggets of goodness. My wife chose the grilled sea bream; I had the 6oz filet with lemon roasted potatoes. Fabulous bottle of wine. Then dessert…..omg…..warm apple crostata and the salted caramel cheesecake. To die for…..then a couple of MonteChristo coffees. All of our dishes were so artistic; came out of the kitchen quickly. Service was impeccable. Chef knew that we were celebrating our anniversary….so our dessert plate was beautifully adorned…..not a single complaint or fumble. Probably the best meal we ever had at a restaurant……we will be back!!!! (Perhaps tonight…..)

The manager that evening was overly concerned about a large group (so he says) that he rushed us throughout the whole evening right to the end when we were the last to leave (10 pm).. For example, my guest barely sat down and hadn’t had a chance to look at the bar menu. And menu. He repeatedly interrupted our conversation and tried to upswell a wine thinking we didn’t know our wine. We made it known to him after paying that we were disappointed with the service that all we wanted was to chill out after an extremely stressful day and we couldn’t. The manager lost his cool and promptly gave the hint that we were to leave. Didn’t expect this type of service to happen in such an upscale restaurant. Not expecting to go back anytime soon.

Food was delicious. We started with some yummy cocktails, followed by oysters and crab and corn fritters which were both fresh and delicious. My husband got the sea bream and I got the roasted honey duck for our mains. Both were cooked to perfection. Duck meat was nice and tender and flavours of the honey and chickpeas really blended well with the meat. We finished off with the caramel corn cheesecake which to me is the highlight of our meal. It’s really hard to top the starters and mains since everything tasted good but I just loved how unique the dessert was and the blend of corn with the caramel and the cheesecake was just absolutely wonderful. Service was great, and ambiance was lovely. This was a pregame meal for us (we were wearing leafs jerseys - as did a few other tables) but majority of the crowd did feel a bit more corporate due to location. Not that it matters, just an observation. We had a lovely time and will likely be back :)

One of my favourites… my girlfriend’s first time. We loved every bit of it. Service is always top notch. The burrata cheese was fantastic and the wagyu dumplings were delicious. And the Bymark Burger was absolutely perfect as usual!! Do yourself a favour and try the crème brûlée donuts for dessert :)
