We would have loved this place rather than like if the wait staff didn't hit us up for a tip then complained at the amount. The food was very good. The service professional (exception mentioned), the food delicious. The prices were fair for the quality and quantity. The decor is homey and comfortable. You are greeted by the doorman to La dama who then brings you through a lobby designed by a student of Gaudi himself. Upon pointing out the beautiful architecture, the doorman explained the history of the lobby. When we arrived at the door to La dama, he had a special key that opened the door, making it feel as if it were a secret restaurant. A great experience! The interior is beautifully decorated, and the service there was phenomenal. For the food and service received, we would have paid 2-3X the amount in the USA for this fine dining experience. Our young spirit allows Àlex, our Cheff, to prepare local dishes with fresh and tender products from the market, as every day he gets up early to buy them.
On Friday and Saturday nights, our place ends up being more "trapella" for all the young people of Gràcia.
