Exceptional overall experience. I would absolutely recommend.
Wonderful food, interesting location, friendly and helpful staff. Great for original and tasty healthy food at any time of day.
We had the vegetarian communal meal and it was so perfect! Went here for our 10th anniversary as it's always an amazing experience.
Great experience with Ver the Christmas holidays with the holiday store and the Christmas tree market right next door. It’s become our annual tradition to eat a Christmas brunch at Cafe Belong followed by shopping for trinkets and a Christmas tree. Highly recommended.
What a gem! The whole experience is unique to Toronto. The beautiful unique setting away from the hussle and bussel, the unique decor, the locally sourced ingredients, the wine list (different and well-paired), the creative menu, expertly prepared and presented,.. What more can you ask for?
We love Cafe Belong, have brunch there regularly and it’s always a great experience, service and food are amazing!
Good food and service. Nice looking restaurant in a beautiful location.
Sunday brunch @ cafe belong are always a hit!
Thank you for a lovely dinner - we always love eating at Cafe Belong!
Very over priced but decent. $30 is an expensive bannana pancake all be it a tasty one.
Superlative food, very good service, but our table was too close to the kitchen, the hood range was much too loud for comfort.
Great place to go to eat had to duck confit absolutely beautifully done. A my fiance had the rack of lamb melts in your mouth amazing. Thank you fantastic I'll be back again sooner than you think
The Rug Chef
Went on a Friday night in October and it was very empty and quiet which was perfect for us. Great service and the food was fantastic. Amazing flavours with ingredients that were also in season and fantastic. Definitely a jewel if you are looking for a great meal at an affordable price with a quiet setting.
Delicious brunch and very friendly staff! Totally worth the price!
Our guests were late and out waiter was very gracious and made us feel at ease.
Clean, well presented food. Good choice on the menu, well above average quality and a wonderful setting to enjoy a special outing. Highly recommend.
A cozy and only restaurant located in the Evergreen Brick Works. I ordered a Sausage with mushroom from the brunch menu. It was delicious. The taste was well-balanced. Just a bit pricey. Most dishes is over $30.
We had a superb evening at Cafe Belong. The food was stupendous and the service was spot on. The music was a little loud but quietened down towards the end of the evening. We have eaten in a number of restaurants this year and it was probably one of the best meals we have had. We are regulars and will be back.
This place is a lovely place to bring a date. It's very intimate (maybe because it was a quiet night) anywho, the food was exceptional. I only wished the lamb was less fatty since there's quite a lot of large chunks of fat. The menu is very limited but that's also because its farm to table type of place (local-seasonal ingredients) Also, it's worth looking into trying they're 3 or 5 course meal if you are going to order apps, entre and dessert, which I kind of regret not doing) I wasnt intending on ordering a full 3 course + drinks for 2. We usually share our apps and desserts since we're not big eaters but it's been a long day and everything just seems so enticing (stomach speaking) after ordering, little did we know we had ended with a $200 bill....which i should of went for the 5 course meal instead haha. Overall, I'd definitely be back quite often.
Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious.
This place is solid. Fries are great. Cocktails are great. Atmosphere is great. Staff are nice, flexible, laid back... I come often and am always glad it’s there. Kid friendly, too.
The waitress forgot about my table and the one next to me. They all complained about her service and the manager had to bring the food out apologizing for the very long delay. I had a dairy intolerance that I informed the restaurant about, they told me not to worry and that nothing I ordered would have any dairy... but then when I got my food... guess what .... it had dairy; a ricotta cheese salad they just forgot had dairy in it. Are you kidding? Worst service and overpriced food. Can’t believe this experience. Can’t believe I paid over $60 for the worst experience ever.
Thanks for a lovely brunch - all good - low noise {suspect inside would have been too noisy} outside and perfect weather. Excellent service from Meghan.
Only slight disappointment .... frittata slightly below usual high standard .... previous occasions (about 3 or 4) would give frittata a 10/10 - Sept 08 - only 7/10. The cauliflower and cocoanut soup was outstanding.
We sat on the patio because we had our dog with us. The first waiter literally through the wood menus down on the table clearly upset that he had another table on the patio?? Perhaps he wanted his shift to end? I’m not sure but it was an awful first impression. We waited far too long for someone else to come and take our drink order. We got appetizers, but no cutlery to eat it with until someone from our party of 4 went into the restaurant and got it herself. Honestly the service was terrible. The food was good.
We have quickly become regulars. Great healthy tasty food choices, friendly and professional staff, and a great location to combine with the farmers market or walk around the nature park.
We had the 5-course tasting with a mix of meat and vegetarian dishes. It was incredible, and the service is very friendly!
Always an excellent time. Great food and great vibe
Very nice place, love the garden beside the restaurant.
Really great place. Farm to table feel. Pork chop was outstanding and huge!
It was everything I expected in a farm to table experience. I decided to feast and had the homemade bacon, the frittata, and a side pancake. All were incredibly delicious. Washed it down with the homemade cherry pomegranate juice. Will make a point to dine here each time I’m in Toronto. There is a lot to explore in the complex the restaurant is in, a nice weekend spot for sure.
If you have never tried the restaurant before, it’s ok to have a try. The menu has very few choices and it never changed too. The environment is very nice and cozy.
Lovely brunch!
The location is amazing. Such a relaxing area in the middle of the city! The food quality is fantastic. It’s a little pricey because of the ingredients used which makes it understandable. The ambiance is fantastic and the people are friendly. I always have a great time when I go there. Menu options change once in a while so there is always something to try. There are vegetarian options and they are willing to modify things to make them vegetarian which is great.
It would have been a more ejoyable lunch if the air conditioning would have been working
A perfect location for great, local food. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was very relaxed - it was a perfect experience to enjoy food and conservation with friends.
Thank you for giving us a wonderful dining experience for our special occasion. The food was fresh and excellent, the setting was supreme and the service was great.
Great restaurant. Delicious food. Great service and ambiance. It is fine dining with a euro feel and nature around you. Would highly recommend.
A wonderful experience much like enjoying lunch in your own backyard. Plenty shade, peace and quiet and comfortable environment. Food choices were lovely, I enjoyed the house cured and smoked trout and asparagus plate which left me totally satisfied. Followed by a refreshingly delightful iced latte. Lunch was followed by a pleasant walk around the huge ponds featuring lily pads and serenading frogs. The craft and garden stores were also interesting. Seriously like escaping the city for a few hours.
Brunch at Cafe Belong was wonderful! The food was delicious and filling (although a little expensive). The patio on a summer day is a must visit!
St Lawrence salad the best ever. And the spring has sprung salad with trout was out of this world. I LOVE this restaurant. Never disappoints!! Xoxoxox to Brad Long!
