A gleaming rotisserie is used to slow-roast chicken à la broche, whole lobster, and even rum-scented pineapple. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and offer brunch on Sundays.
Designed by Martin Brudnizki of London. The vintage-inspired ambiance is highlighted by a comfortable lounge and wraparound banquettes, a dining counter, and a semi-private room that accommodates up to eight guests. The restaurant has received several accolades since its renovation including Best Restaurant in Canada at the Notable Awards and Canada's Hundred Best Restaurants.
Love it!! Service and food
Is always great!!
Thank you to Aleen.
Service was impeccable and Salade Niçoise was divine.
It’s our regular spot for a romantic dinner and conversation. This visit the kitchen/ food was extra wonderful. Service is always superb as well.
The presentation and preparation of the food was spectacular and the service was top notch.
The ambiance and decor was really nice, I felt like I went back in time it felt so retro and elegant. Our server was really attentive and we were given free ice wine because I didn’t love the scallops (they were ok). We got tasty Madeleines for our anniversary treat from the restaurant. Dessert was really good especially the grapefruit grive and I enjoyed the cheese platter with elderflower fizz as a cocktail.
Loved it, just service seemed rushed
Food was ok but not great. Biggest complaint was mark-up on wine was 4-5 timed LCBO price.
Amazing experience, as always! Great good with perfect service. The menu was different, but the quality is always the same.
Nothing, but perfection.
My partner and I had a wonderful time at Café Boulud. We went for a New Years brunch and it was worth every penny. The menu was expansive without being too cumbersome, the food was spectacular and the service was fantastic. Absolutely zero complaints, we will return!
Outstanding. Although I've been for brunch several times over the past few years, this was my first visit in quite a while. I was pleasantly surprised to see new menu items & highly attentive service. Looking forward to returning.
New year event
The team is like a family and really great people to be with
Came here for new years eve and the food was great! Spectacular service and ambiance.
Fresh and perfectly prepared!
Unfortunately not as good as I had hoped. Food was good but not great. Was pretty expensive for food that was nothing special
Best French Restaurant in Toronto, quality is always there.
Thank you to be in Toronto.
The wine list need better moderate wine, contact me.
Took my sister out for a special birthday - our food and service was excellent. However, Cafe Boulud needs to update their payment methods with respect to VISA. Sometimes you are offered the machine to complete the transaction; other times, you are treated as though you are a hotel guest and sign a paper chit where you add the tip manually - however, your bank is initially charged with the base cost of the meal and confirms this to you via an email confirmation. Other times, you are offered the machine and can complete the entire transaction as you are able in all of Toronto's finest restaurants.
I took a visitor from Japan to Cafe Boulud on Boxing Day as a treat. Overall the Ambiance and setting of the restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel is excellent. What ruined things fo rme are twofold. First of all my main course, which was Black Ink Pasta with Lobster was just so so, but what really ruined it was the fact that I had Oysters for my appetizer. Upon eating the first one I thought it tasted a bit funny but the others were good. My friend, however, having smelled the Oysters declared they were not fresh. Being from Japan where the main diet is fish and seafood I think he was correct. I suffered the next morning with a terrible stomach.
Our waiter Venu was not very attentive and very irregularly checks our table. The food is very good but the service does not match the four season or boulud name
Christmas Day dinner... delicious food, great ambiance, efficient service ,,, wonderful!!!
Superb food, and even better service. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas with our family (and we live in Toronto). No pressure to eat or rushing to finish. Waiters saw our bottle of wine was finished, and offered one more glass top up after for the ladies. Classic and perfectly timed service of food, and subtle delivery of bill. And wonderful respect for the seniors at our table, just great! (You even managed so well the absolutely miserable wannabe next to us). We will be back (this was our second Christmas with you), and we will spread the word.
We came to Toronto from England for Christmas and booked your restaurant for our Christmas lunch. The food was amazing but even more so was the staff. Our waitress Irene was perfection, so attentive and professional but also very sociable with us and nothing was to much trouble. Also there was a young Turkish lad behind the bar who again, was professional but also such a laugh.
If we return to Toronto we would definitely come back.
Carol king and Robert Davis
5* plus all round
Food was very small for the money, Don’t expect to bring home a doggy bag and expect him to get hungry again later
Another fantastic meal at Café Boulud with excellent service provided by Shea. Always a pleasure dining here.
Great spot, excellent food and service.
Attentive Service And Excellent Food
Cafe Boulud never disappoints. I went for X’mas Sunday Brunch with friends and the food and service were excellent. A bit pricey but still worth it particularly for special occasions. Loved the Oysters and the duck dish. Highly recommended!
For a $180 brunch for 2, it should have been so much better. The service could have been more attentive. We pretty much were forgotten about and the waiter really should have told us that our mains came with salad as we both ordered salad to start. The side salad was a soggy mess and inedible anyway. On the upside, the croque madame was delicious, it was busy and the room is lovely. I keep giving it chances but that will have to be the last time. There are too many better places.
Very busy night, but the staff was very efficient, attentive and welcoming.
Enjoyed a family Christmas brunch gathering. Food was oustanding and the service was without fault..PERFEC. I/WE will be back!
It's expensive, but worth every penny. Totally excellent in every way.
I am very happy for the meal, everything was going well until I have to pack my dessert with the molten cake, there was a décor gold leaf on top, I was full of anticipation when I open the box and the gold leaf was not there, the server has taken it from the cake, what a serving attitude. A very disappointing end of the fine meal.
First time that I have been disappointed. It started with our server being unfriendly and not that attentive. The octopus appetizer was dry and with no flavour. The venison osso bocco was not bad but not up to their usual standard. My wife’s beef tenderloin was over salted. All in all I won’t be back for a while but I will give them another shot some day.
Jeremy made sure our experience was the best it could be.
The menu is pretty unusual. Trying to be very French Bistro, I guess. Just one fish dish and one steak offering for mains, the rest a bit off the wall. Strange firsts, good if you like octopus! Even tough to pick a dessert. Service was over-the-top attentive. Think hovering. Wine glass down a half inch, over to top it up. Asked several times if everything fine, like he was worried! Quite pushy on seeking to have us order appetizers we didn't want.
Won't repeat. I prefer Select Bistro if I want French experience.
Always a good bet - I particularly enjoy the Quenelle with a divine lobster/cognac sauce... the server Mike is great at his job and definitely adds to an overall enjoyable experience
Always a fantastic experience.
We had a great time! 😘
The Vension Osso Bucco was not your standard Osso Bucco - dry, not pulled, not braised for hours falling off the bone. I expected more out of a Four Season's hotel restaurant. Disappointed overall. Apps were good. Desserts were good.
Wonderful birthday brunch with family!
