    Beautiful presentation, complex and wonderful tastes. Lots of choices for each course. 🍷 by the glass offered wonderful choices. Waiter offered excellent pairing choices. We will definitely be back.

    Overpriced for the quality of the food. My steak was flavorless and the bordelaise sauce watery and bland. Wouldn’t rush back. On the out hand our server was very good.

    The octopus carpaccio didn't seem fresh, all the pieces were stuck together, as if it had been prepared well in advance. Not much flavour. The duck confit was very salty & I like salt.

    Service was great. We've always enjoyed the service, presentaiton and ambiance. We've been coming for years even before the hotel was rebuilt. The sampling of their vegan chocolate muffin was delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed it. The other food was ok. We were disappointed that the ricotta pancakes were no longer available on the menu. The "new" pancakes were not nearly as light and fluffy. The toppings were lacking. The menu seems to have been "dumbed down".

    We have had great and good experiences over the many years eating at Cafe Boulud in Toronto - Four Seasons. Tonight - was a GREAT experience. The whole roasted duck for two was simple but so delicious and the two glasses of wine chosen were perfect. With reds, often restaurants have them too warm and when we mentioned it to the Sommelier, he managed to bring it to the correct temperature a red should be served at for us - even those it was an open by the glass bottle. Attention to detail tonight was great and thanks to the team at Cafe Boulud! Merci!

    Truly memorable experience. Waiter Zach was very friendly and professional and the sommelier John was helpful and enthusiastic about the wine. Food was terrific especially the octopuss. Steak was cooked exactly as ordered and the shirt rib was melt in the mouth. Wine topping was like a Swiss clock and very unobtrusive. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a special meal in Yorkville

    They have some of the best wait staff in any restaurant. Very professional and attentive, and excellent recall of customer preferences. The updated menu is fantastic. I think this place should be Michelin starred.

    We enjoyed brunch at Cafe Boulud this weekend. Ambience was good, service also good. Sebastien, the bartender, is someone we look forward to seeing again. Great, innovative recipes.

    We dined at Cafe Boulud on Labor Day evening with a mixed experience. We called to request an earlier time than our original reservation and were told no changes were possible, only to arrive at the pleasant, but 90% empty, room, that, obviously, had seen little activity. Only 6 or 7 groups arrived after us. Strange. Several people wearing baseball caps were seated and permitted to dine without being asked to remove them. This is extremely gauche and unseemly when you are paying $80 per person or more for a meal. Coupled with the insipid, monotonous drum machine background “music,” it resulted in a diminished experience. The food, including nicely-prepared and sauced mushroom tagliatelle and lovely black cod, was quite delicious. “Discounted” parking for our 1 3/4 hour meal cost $25. All in all, unless we were staying at the Four Seasons Hotel, I doubt we would return.

    The place is nice but the air conditioning is bad you can be sweating while you are waiting for the table. You would expect more from them when you are paying for 17$ a plate of 4 pieces of water melons , 2 pieces of melon . And cantaloupe and some pineapple . Love four season but somehow this avenue is a little disappointing.

    I like to try different restaurants and this one came highly recommended I got the six course tasting menu and it was delicious but I think the icing on the cake was our server Dion he knew the dishes he talked about the wine pairings and he even sold me to come back for breakfast the next day. When you have good people who think highly of the place they work it makes the atmosphere that much better. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, as well as I will be back again.

    My salad nicoise was inedible and had to be sent back. The dressing was lacking any acidity and the fish was not fresh. The table next to ours sent theirs back as well.

    Our lunch at Cafe Boulud was wonderful. From the time we arrived at the restaurant until we finished our meal, we felt like we having lunch at a friend’s home. The food and service was exceptional. This was our first time at the restaurant since before the pandemic and it was great to be back!

    If you want a rich French breakfast, hands down this is the best place in the city. The ingredients were such high quality you can tell the chef meant serious business when this menu was put together. I have so much gratitude I live in Yorkville and get to experience all the different culinary experiences they offer at Café Boulud. Chef’s kiss!

    On the menu there were no prices just 2 course or 3 course meal we thought we had to order two courses where lunch is normally one. After we ordered the waiter mentioned ala Carte ordering, which we would have chosen having one dish each. After 3 of us finished our wine two of us ordered another glass Burt he brought a bottle, he poured us each a glass then poured another glass without asking which we had him pour back in the bottle. So two things which made our lunch 700$ . We felt gouged.

    Brunch was delicious, we ordered the oysters, steak tartare, omelette, chicken and waffle, chocolate cake and madeleines. The bartender made the best martinis too! The attention to detail was A+.

    The black cod was delicious. The beef duo, while perfectly presented and prepared, was a smaller than expected portion. The steak was good, but the second half of the "duo" was a short rib ravioli--just a single small ravioli with maybe a teaspoon of meat inside! The two bean accompaniments were minimal but the whipped potatoes generous. We've noticed the shrinking portions at Cafe Boulud which is disappointing. Sides are a must if you want a fleshed out meal. The souffle special and chocolate dessert were lovely. Service from Dennis was attentive and as on point as always and we enjoy seeing him.

    We had a 5 course tasting menu and it was very good. Between 2 people, we had prawns, octopus, black cod, lobster, steak, and dessert. There was definitely no lack of variety. The waiter was excellent. The only negative which always bothers me is they initially sat us at the worst possible table even though we made reservations in advance. There were 3 of us and they sat us at the first corner seat in the main aisle closest to the entrance with a very small table. There would be no way the dishes would fit on this table. They did move us after I voiced my displeasure but it slightly ruins the evening and i may be reluctant to come back again for a while.
