    Trevor was our waiter...an absolute pro! Beef tenderloin was perfect with mashed potatoes and substituted broccoli. (IF you like broccoli and mushrooms have this!) Black Stallion Cabernet from the US was a perfect fit. Celebrated our anniversary of our first date there. A magical evening.

    Amazing service! Friendly and attentive. We shared tge beet salad and each got a ravioli. Everything was delicious! Overall a great experience.

    The food and service was outstanding. We had three courses and every one of them was delicious. The service was friendly, so efficient and staff anticipated everything we needed. The only downside was as the evening progressed the ambient sound got higher; it is a small restaurant so that is understandable but we did wish it was quieter.

    The older woman server was not friendly. I got a dessert and mentioned it was my birthday but she did not wish me happy birthday. It's just common courtesy. We were in a hurry to leave after the meal but she ignored us and had us sitting and waiting at the table. I had to flag down another server to pay my bill.

    Cafe Carlo is one of our most favourite restaurants in Winnipeg. Last night we booked a table for 2 at the last minute. We were not at all disappointed. The service (Trevor) was top notch as it always is. The food was scrumptious, as it always is. And the price was fair for all we ate. Great value; great food; great service. You can’t go wrong at Cafe Carlo. Laurie and Nancy.

    Phenomenal!!!!!! Service was fantastic Jessie was awesome all night! The food was fantastic. We had the diablo mussels which were unbelievable! Meaty and the sauce OMG!!! My wife had the Spag Boo and I had the Pappardelle. Both dishes were well portioned and great flavour!! First time there for myself and will definitely return!!

    The food here is always wonderful. The cocktails are great. Service is friendly and attentive while still discreet. A neighborhood gem and somewhere I always try to go when I am in Winnipeg. Great for meeting with friends or a romantic dinner.
