   Food was good. Staff was all nice and helpful, but the service was really slow. We had a reservation, and it still took them twenty minutes to seat us. The speed of service did not improve from there.

    The food was delicious. We had heavy tapas and then each ordered an entree. I had the lemon Salmon with saffron rice. It was perfectly cooked with a nice crisp surface. If you plan to go and want paella you will either need to call ahead and order or plan to wait 60 min. We did not have it this go around but I did see it and it looked delicious. Our server was a bit impatient with us which was a little frustrating because the 6 of us were new to Cafe Madrid. I would recommend this restaurant. It is on the expensive side so be prepared for that.

    Cafe Madrid is always a great experience. The staff were attentive, and the food is good. You can't ask for much more. I enjoy the tapas..such great flavor profiles.

    Overpriced and overrated. I ordered the fillet mignon cooked medium. It came raw. Not even rare, raw. When I called the waiter he knew immediately it was not right and sent back. My husband’s food was there and they didn’t bother to bring his back to the kitchen so we could eat together so we ended up eating separately. When my food arrived he had already finished. In the end they offered us free dessert but we were not planning to order any. The desserts were in fact the only good thing we ate. The food was not worth the price tag and the way they handled the situation was questionable. It was our second time there and it was also the last.

    The waiter recommended fantastic Spanish wine to accompany our meal; he also recommended an appetizer that was really delicious (shrimp in a mildly spicy red sauce). The atmosphere was calm and intimate (it was a Tuesday, but there was a fairly full house). We highly recommend and will be returning again!!

    Excellent food and service. The balsamic glazed brussel sprouts are amazing, sweet, better than dessert. Their Pollo Marsala and Beef Tenerloin are wonderful each and every time.

    We expected a fine dining experience but were let down. We spent almost $200 on dinner and drinks for two of us. I don’t mind spending money on a lovely dinner but this wasn’t it. This restaurant really seems to be struggling. They were out of several menu items. The food was unimaginative and reminded me of school lunch. We will never return or recommend this place. I feel terrible because our server was trying very hard to make it a nice evening but nothing can compensate for terrible overpriced food.

    This was our first time at Cafe Madrid and we can’t wait to go back. Everything was incredible. The food was fantastic and I was so impressed by their quality of genuine service. (Which I think is very hard to find these days). We loved it.

    The staff was excellent and attentive; special shout out to our server Katrina. They have really upped their flavors as well as portion size-the food came out slightly too quickly ( salads had barely been served when out came the entrees, )but other than that, an extremely positive experience.

    Ebony, our waitress, was fantastic. The ambience was warm and cozy, situated in their back room it was lovely and quiet for our husband/wife date night. Our food was incredible, and Ebony’s recommendations for wine to pair with our tapas and entrees was spot on. Thank you to the entire staff, and especially (of course) Ebony for a wonderful dining experience.

    Quiet during brunch but they close off part of the restaurant so it doesn’t feel too empty. Server was super nice and the brunch and wine menu are great. Recommend!

    I have been dining at Cafe Madrid since they opened and their service and food have been incredible. Last night was the worst dining out experience I have had in years. They sat us way in the back on a wood seat against a cold window and forgot about us. Service was awful, lobster bisque sans the lobster in a tomato base resembling the shrimp appetizer was not great. Desserts were mundane and average tasting for the pre fix price. So disappointed!

    We have been dining at Cafe Madrid for several years, 4 times on New Year’s Eve. We’ve always loved their food that’s why we keep coming back. However, last night seemed to be an off night in the kitchen. The tapas, soup and dessert were all excellent. But our entrees were a miss. My husband’s Oso Buco was dry. If not for the good sauce, it would have been a disaster. My salmon was over cooked and dry. And my friend’s New York steak was so tough(cooked medium), she was struggling to cut with a steak knife. She finally sent it back. They gladly replaced it with the chicken Marsala. But even that wasn’t quite right. The chicken was dry, but the sauce was great. Hopefully, this is just one night and doesn’t mean their standards have dropped.
