   Fantastic dinner last night at the Cambridge Mill! We were seated right beside the fire on a wet and windy evening which was perfect. The appetizers (salads and burrata) and entrees (lamb and pappardelle) were spectacular and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Overall a perfect evening!

   Our dinner at the mill was amazing from the moment we got there until the moment we left. Service was fantastic, we had many employees stop at our table to ask us how we were doing and top off our water. The food was outstanding, I had the salmon and my husband had the pork belly. My salmon was so delicious and just the right amount of food. My husband’s pork belly just melted in your mouth it was so delicious. The deserts were amazing as well and I highly recommend the whipped cheesecake. Highly recommend a date night at the Cambridge Mill.

   As usual, the service was outstanding; friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated near the windows on this visit which was lovely, as it was my friend’s birthday, so we got to watch the sunset. The meals were served promptly and were delicious as always. She said it was the best burger she has ever had and my salmon, a favourite dish, was wonderful. Such a lovely evening.

   We did dine quite early, 4:30pm so not typically very busy, choice of seating and nice view of the river. The food was excellent. We both had steak, 2 cocktails each and dessert for a total bill of $240 for two adults. Very pricey but really nice for a special occasion dinner.

    Excellent food as always (returning customer) however I had asked if there was a quiet area of the restaurant as we were celebrating a birthday. We were placed beside the buffet and it was extremely busy and noisy. This definitely impacted our experience. Unfortunate because we've always enjoyed going to the Cambridge Mill.

    Date night at The Mill was amazing. 1/2 Price Oysters paired with an excellent sparkling wine recommended by our server. We ordered the Scallop Pasta, and the Chicken over Barley Risotto and of coursed shared lol. Both dishes we would order again . Finished with cheese cake and specialty coffee, also excellent. We will be BACK

    Always a great experience! My salmon was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and experienced - may have been a tad over extended with tables. Re: "wines by the glass" - the Cambridge Mill used to offer the McManis Petit Syrah by the glass, but now only offer it by the bottle. I know it's a very popular wine, so I would like to see it again offered by the glass.

    Went to the mill for my birthday and parents 30th anniversary celebration. Had a lovely time and very delicious brunch. Would highly recommend!

    Great service. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My only complaint was that my steak was barely warm, but the potatoe side was very very hot. The steak was cooked perfectly but wasn’t enjoyable to eat really based on temperature.

    Service was impeccable. Ambiance was lovely. My only complaint was the piece of salmon I had was thin and tiny. Nothing really to it. Honestly, it looked like something bought from zehrs. I had the same meal 6 months ago there and it was so yummy! This time it was a disappointment. Will still return as we love Cambridge Mill but will select a different menu option.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cambridge Mill, it was a great experience. This property has stunning views of the Grand River and is housed in a beautifully restored historic building. The highlight of the meal for us was the fantastic cauliflower appetizer. It was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and a deliciously crispy texture. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant. The service was also top-notch. Shauna was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Overall, we had another great visit to Cambridge Mill and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of amazing food, incredible service, and breathtaking views make it a must-visit destination. I look forward to our next visit.

    I would say the ambience was really good, food was good too but can't say best. Try to have a river side view table, will definitely enjoy the meal with that mesmerizing view. And the staff is really good, professional. Overall must visit place.

    The Cambridge Mill is an experience. The atmosphere is calmer than most restaurants - there is a lot of space between tables, the music is not too loud, and the service is great. The menu is very interesting and the dishes are well made. My only critique is that this experience comes at a premium price - expect to spend over $40 on an entree, $15 a cocktail, and over $15 for an appetizer - and I can't say these are better than the dishes at other nice restaurants. I for example will never order a cocktail there again. I would order the beef tartare again - amazing. The lamb entree was well cooked, plated and tasty, perhaps under seasoned and had some strange pungent flavours in the garnish that didn't match the overall dish. Judging based on the food alone, you likely won't be disappointed (dishes are creative, made well, and plated well), but paying the premium makes me think twice (unless you are okay with that being your ticket price to this beautiful ambiance). Our family did enjoy the experience and we plan to return.

    Our server, Brandon, was excellent. Went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even acknowledge the occasion we were there to celebrate. The food was on point as well, and Eric Bolton with the background music made for an awesome experience over all.

    Had a beautiful brunch w my family. We had a vegan in the group, the Mill was so responsive and offered our vegan all sorts of extra choices... she was delighted. Thank you so much for including her. Great brunch, such a pretty location. Thanks again!
