Excellent food!!!!! Especially for a very busy Saturday evening
Food, wine and service never disappoints.
Campagnolo never fails to deliver beautifully prepared food, by friendly and perfectly competent staff in a great space.
Very nice experience
The food was fine, but the portion size was very small. I ordered the Halibut, which came with no sides (just the piece of fish, on a small bed of greens) and my fiancee ordered the agnolotto, which was about half a portion. We both left hungry. If the food was spectacular we could have forgiven the portions, but that wasn't the case, so we likely will not return.
Restaurant became VERY noisy. Couldn't have a conversation.
Food was a little too salty but tasty
Always consistently wonderful food ! I am never disappointed when I go there!
Unfortunately my guest found a hair in his tartare. My seafood gnocchetti had off tasting seafood and a sauce that really tasted of very little. I supposed there was tomato because the sauce was pinkish.
I chose Campagnolo because it's a favourite of mine but was my guest's first introduction so this was disappointing.
That said, my guest admitted the tartare was the best he's had!
I know that this was a very unusual occurrence so I look forward to returning.
We arrived a bit late for our reservation but were greeted warmly by name on arrival. Our server offered suggestions for wine by the glass and was positive about providing a cocktail one guest wanted, but was not on the cocktail menu. We all had the salad with radicchio, cress, blood orange ( looked like regular orange to me) and a fresh citrus dressing. Very tasty. Two had the agnolotti verde - it is very green! But absolutely delicious and the pasta was obviously house made, fresh and properly cooked. One had fish that came with an enormous separate plate of boiled fingerling potatoes - it was not finished despite sharing. The wine list is small but we had an excellent bottle of Tannat from Uruguay - splendid right out of the bottle. Food prices were generally reasonable - drinks perhaps a bit on the high side. All in all - a very good experience.
Great experience ! Food was great.
Been to Campagnolo twice - each time Steve the Chef has accommodated my food allergies and
Jaret the server has been on top of it all. Great restaurant & wonderful service people.
I was very disappointed in the service at this restaurant. The flow was totally lacking. Among other things, I did not expect to have to walk over to the staff and ask if we could order a bottle of wine, which was only brought to the table after our mains had already been served. Unfortunately, it totally ruined the experience. Price you pay for what you get wasn't worth it.
Great food. Friendly wait staff with a well paced not rushed approach. Food was excellent. Fresh great flavours.
Always a delight! I've been visiting Campagnolo for years now, the service and food remains consistent overtime. Always a go-to with menu items that are 'tried and true' but they switch up the remaining menu items based on seasonality to keep it fun and fresh!
Absolutely my favourite Italian restaurant in the city. Never disappoints. Caution: be sure to advise server how you'd like your steak done in advance.
We have been to Campagnolo several times.
As usual perfect service, perfect food
I’ll keep this short. The food is outstanding. !!
Favourite restaurant in Toronto. Definitely recommend for date nights, ask for the chefs bar if possible! Get the spaghetti it’s amazing!
Campangolo reliably provides all-around excellence.
If you are dining in Toronto look now further than Euclid and Dundas, Campagnolo is amazing! The food is unbelievably great! House made, fresh pasta! Get the Spaghetti!!! You will never have a spaghetti that tastes like this anywhere else! The buratta is awesome too!
Everytime is amazing food and service! Service made us feel very welcome and not rushed at all so lots of respect for it!
Did the tasting menu. Once again - amazing. Our friends were so impressed that they booked 16 people for a family member's 85th birthday. And other friends that we are dining with on Wednesday requested we book Campagnolo as they loved it on our last visit. Clearly performs over and over...
All around very good - excellent.
Service was inattentive and only detracted from our otherwise good experience.
it was the first time i had ever been there. i think my food, potato gnocchi, was really greasy and i found it inedible and heavy. it was oily. as well, i did not enjoy my drink. but our service was fine. i think he didn't really care to hear that i didn't like it or want to do anything about how i didn't like it.
This was my second time at Campagnolo and I was, again, not disappointed. Everything was delicious, though I think the stars of the evening for our group was the Short Rib Ragu and the Cappelletti di zucca. The server was attentive and very accommodating to my dietary restrictions - the vegan gelato was the best I've ever had!
Really good menu, reasonably priced and overall a very good restaurant for any occasion
Great night out!
The menu is very well thought out and the place has great ambiance.
Our server Kathryn was just right.
Best Burrata in the city and the Cappelletti is perfection.
This place is a must try.
I was recommended by a friend to try this restaurant. Unfortunately I was very disappointed... We got there at 8:30pm and ordered a cocktail while we made our choice for dinner. We received our entree quickly. We ordered the trout and the spaghetti Amaticiana. We received the trout but the pasta never showed up. Even after we reminded the waitress she apologized but still no pasta. To my disappointment the table next to us... a group of 20 people that showed up 30 mins after us, received 10 dishes of the pasta amarticiana. I asked for the bill as we were starving and disappointed. As we paid the bill and were leaving... the pasta showed up. Lack of communication and definitely lack of coordination with the kitchen. I never right reviews... but couldn't let this one pass.
2 Appetizers/small plates(tartar and cheese burata )were very good...2 large plates/mains (12 oz steak and Ragu dish)were just ok
I'm Italian and always skeptical when it comes to Italian restaurants. Yesterday night the lesson was: good things come to the ones who wait. A pretty slow start was forgiven once the food came. I was pleased not to find the usual classics, but great dishes made in the Italian way. The flavour and food culture of my Italy, in an unexpected and delicious shape. We shared a the roasted squash fonduta followed by cappelletti di zucca and the short rib ragù with meatballs, spareribs and tripe on a bed of polenta. A glass of Wine (a pretty good Nebbiolo), coffee (good espresso). And two desserts: salted caramel budino (wow) and torta tenerina (chocolate). I was surprised not to find bread on the table (and Italian classic) but maybe it was better this way, so we didn't ruin our appetite.
The location is nice, quiet and (maybe a little too) dark. We paid around 120 (+tip) in 2. Honest price for a quality dinner. Can't wait to try more.
Never to disappoint, the short but mighty menu at Campagnolo delivers the requisite quality and flavour one has come to count on from this Toronto mainstay. I have yet to enjoy a more satisfying bite of burrata elsewhere....all creamy and warm, presented with roasted grapes on a crunchy slice of tasty bread....roasted marrow also packs a rich and homey punch despite its elegant presentation. This is one of the only places I would order spaghetti , which the waiter proclaims 'pays the rent', and must agree, it's a staple deservedly at the top of the menu. Not pretentious. Doesn't have to be. This spaghetti is the real deal; or at least what my expectation of that is- and I make a mean spaghetti myself. Service is attentive and prompt. Vibe is homey and yet just cool....in a timeless kind of way. Long after the hipster vibe of the neighbourhood changes into its newest iteration, Campagnolo will continue to serve up what it knows best. Authentic. Italian. Delicious.
Went for the Giro d'Italia prix fixe event - food was quite nice, and service was great. Downsides were that the restaurant was too loud, light was too dim, and nearly all of the food-handling employees in the open kitchen area had facial hair, which I find distasteful (and also relates to the complaint of how dim it was -- I wouldn't be able to see their beard hair in my food anyway...)
Every time I eat here I am reminded of why I keep coming back! Wonderful authentic food, amazing stmosphere, fantastic service ... can’t get better than that!
Food was excellent. Will definitely come back.
Great meal, was a little loud but that’s based on personal preference and wouldn’t dissuade another visit.
The gnocchi was amazing. Excellent food and staff
