It’s a dichotomy.” Chef Craig Harding sums up Campagnolo, the restaurant that he and his fiancée, Alexandra Hutchison, own and operate on Dundas Street in Toronto’s west end. Inspired by traditional homemade Italian food, and charged with a fresh and modern energy, Campagnolo blends new and old to create something that is better than either.

This little gem never disappoints! I feel like I'm at Nonna's house; if nonna went to culinary school. Love it!

A small little cozy, inviting place with incredible food. The “Fresh Burrata with roasted grapes and toasted bread” dish is absolutely incredible. The “HOUSE-MADE SPAGHETTI ALL’AMATRICIANA” is absolutely delicious and the best I have ever had! The staff are friendly and helpful, the service in terms of when the food comes out is just a little slower. This is a restaurant to go to with friends to sit and enjoy good food and conversation over a couple hours; which is exactly what we did.

Outstanding menu. Very creative ingredients and excellent execution. Nice serving sizes. Dessert tasting was offered when I asked for a description of the dish... that was a nice treat! Manager and server were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Celebrated our anniversary this past weekend at campagnolo. The atmosphere and food was amazing. Service was slow but seemed as if not enough wait staff was on board that night...mixed with some fairly large parties but dinner made up for it.

Overall a very good experience. We ordered almost the entire menu to share. The food was delicious. Drinks well executed.
Service was very good.
One thing they could improve on: we r 3 ppl sharing. The zucchini app had 2 pieces(we didn’t know)at this level of restaurant the server should have asked if we wanted the app to have 3 pieces (being charged accordingly). It’s a small issue but obviously it stood out for me.
Dessert was not an afterthought - it was very good end to the meal.

Amazing food and service! A wonderful anniversary dinner. Najet went above and beyond for us! We were offered complimentary prosecco, beef carpaccio and house bread. Try the burrata cheese and bone marrow. The veal chop was the real winner though!

Truly an amazing meal - true to its name, with seasonal local ingredients, homemade pasta. This place is an institution, and classics never go out of style. Perfect setting and lighting, but that doesn't event matter, you primary go for the food, and go hungry.

It was fine, but not at that price point. There are many other places (including terroni) that are much better quality for a similar or better price point. Waiter was also more interested in being a personality than actually listening to our order- wrong meals were served

I hadn’t been here in years but had a fond memory specifically of the Burrata. Going back exceeded any expectation! Food was delicious and plated beautifully, you can tell that the menu is well crafted. Service was excellent and our waiter Jaret made it extra special!
Definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates a great meal!

I took a friend to celebrate her birthday. It was our second visit here. The staff was very kind to us, giving us a large table in a corner, which allowed us to sit next to each other, and actually hear each other. We are both aging and our ears are not what they used to be. The waiter was super friendly and had an infectious bonhomie. Both starters and the main courses were delicious, especially my friend's fish, which she said might be the best piece of fish she had every tasted, perfectly cooked. I could see it was flaky and glossy and looked absolutely yummy. We were too full for deserts, unfortunately, as the menu was tempting. We had some excellent wine by the glass, very tasty. All in all an unusually satisfying evening.

Small portions for the cost and when ordering a main, it only includes the meat, it's an extra $9 to have potatoes with it, although the potatoes are delicious.

Dining al fresco at Campagnolo was truly a highlight during our time visiting Toronto. It was at the end of a day of exploring this great city. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming, while the menu is limited the food was homemade and delicious and the service was exquisite. Sarah (from Italy) helped to make the evening special providing personal and memorable service.

Awful service. Menu lists white asperagus starter but green was served. When we called him on it he said they were out as of yesterday. No apology. Then he brought the wrong vegetable order so the right one was quite late. Lots of better places.

Great meal, definitely ranks among the best modern Italian restaurants in the area. My only criticism is that I think they could work on serving staff product knowledge and engagement. Food is actually fairly creative and uniquely executed (though perhaps not super authentic), so if they're serving staff was a bit better versed in food and drink, or at least more engaged, the experience would be a bit more premium. Otherwise, I would recommend for the food alone.

I have always enjoyed my dinner at Campagnola but it’s been years that the same menu items appear. I think it’s time for a bit of a reboot to keep the return patrons interested. The wine menu is a bit pricey not offering many at the lower price point. The patio is lovely during the summer. Service relaxed and not fussy.

Campagnolo is my favorite Italian restaurant in Toronto and have been going since they opened in 2010. I always order their burrata app, agnolotti pasta and budino dessert. Their spaghetti is one of my favorites as well. Their menu stated white asparagus app but showed up with green asparagus. Tables were filled on a Monday night is a testament to how great their food is. Even saw Grant van Gameren dining at the bar that evening.

Went here for a special night with my fiancée and really had a disappointing evening.

The theme of the night was very slow , it was like the restaurant didn’t care that we were there

Sat down at 840 pm and by the time 11:00 pm had hit still had not been served our main course and decided we would just leave versus waiting any longer

Hopefully just a bad night as I have been here before and it was very good
