   Our dining experience at Cane And Canoe was outstanding! The setting is beautiful, we were able to experience a Maui sunset from our table. The service was outstanding, our meals were super good. We enjoyed Mai Tai cocktails. Then we had the Maui onion soup. I had the 10 oz. ribeye, my granddaughter had the 7 oz. filet and my wife had lobster bisque. We all enjoyed our entrees immensely. We then had some fancy desserts. We are looking foreword to our next dining experience at Cane and Canoe!

   We celebrated our anniversary in style. From the reservation to the time we left, it was a smooth process. The table gave us a perfect view of the beautiful grounds with the sounds of running water and a view of burning tiki torches. The food was amazing. I suggest the octopus for an appetizer. The entrees were cooked to perfection. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert that was amazing! A memory for a lifetime.

   Food was great, service was wonderful. The one vegan in my group was able to find something simple to eat. We watched the sunset and listened to the authentic acoustic entertainment, which was beautiful🌸

    Lovely wait staff, yummy food, but disappointed with the experience when checking in and waiting to be seated. We arrived about 7 minutes early for our reservation to an empty dining room and were asked by the hostess to wait to be seated “closer to our reservation time.” Maybe it had to do with waiting for wait staff to arrive? When we returned very briefly later, as the hostess was preparing to seat us, a gentleman working with her loudly asked, “where are you seating them?” She replied with a table number to which he said loudly, as we were standing there, “no, we’re saving that for a VIP. You can seat them at this number or this number.” Beyond the terrible treatment of guests arriving for a reservation, the wait staff provided a nice experience. Very “White Lotus” vibes.

    The ambience was wonderful with beautiful views of the ocean and gardens. The portions were very small including the filets and salmon. The shrimp and fish dish was excellent and had large portions. The sommelier spilled red wine on my white linen jacket which was not noticed until our arrival home. The prices are too high for the quality of the food. The filets were overcooked and too thin. The salmon was so so.

    I frequent the montage a lot being mama aina and the Mother’s Day brunch was very special with the bouquets. Our server was wonderful , but it was incredibly overpriced for locals . Mahalo for the treat though !

    Mother's Day brunch was perfect! The setting was gorgeous. There was live Hawaiian music, but it was just loud enough to enjoy, not too loud for breakfast. Beautiful. Food was delightful! The malasadas were the only thing thst I wouldn't reorder. Maybe could have been hotter? I like a hot malasada! Or maybe since they were stuffed with cream, they can't be hot? On top of not being crazy overpriced for a very fancy resort as most of Maui is, they give a 20% kama'aina discount- so it totally made it worth a special occasion brunch! When on Maui, we will definitely be back (from Oahu).

    Took mom for Mother’s Day brunch. They had a special menu just for Mother’s Day brunch. It was broken into two parts, breakfast and brunch. There were a lot of choices for both. All the tables were decorated in beautiful fresh flower arrangements. Perfect for the occasion. Service was great. Food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time. The live music was a nice touch by the local young man playing solo with his guitar.

    We had a fabulous dinner last night !! The food was amazing! The beet salad was delicious.. the scallops were large and tasty!! the shrimp and fish curry was flavored perfectly.. fish was perfectly cooked and delicious!! The service was perfect, no long waiting for food , our server was attentive to our needs! A beautiful location to view the sunset.

    What a pleasant surprise for us. We chose the restaurant because we wanted something in Kapalua. Wow. What a beautiful place. The food & service was also very good. Had a nice meal, beautiful view and amazing sunset. And a terrific guitarist who played tasteful, well known covers.

    Wow. The calamari appetizer was the best I’ve had. And I was raised on an island. (Lots of seafood in our diet). Scallop app was also great- and was favored by another person at our table. Three of us had rhe mahi. Truly the best I’ve ever had. Great combo of flavors that combined for a memorable meal. My friend had the filet w/ Maui onions and that was amazing as well. Hourglass wine added to the experience. Added a second bottle after the meal was over. Expensive but great. Oh- the musician was amazing. So peaceful and enjoyable.

    Excellent view. Over the top service and ambiance. Entertainment was amazing. Food was good. Felt for the dollar amount it should have been exceptional. The flavors should have caused me to savor every bite. But everything else was “top notch”. Our waitress and servers were definitely creating this high-end feel. The guitarist and his singing created an atmosphere that only added to the cultural ambiance.

    We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, so we wanted a nicer place to (slightly) dress up. We are also Vegan/Vegetarian, so wanted something other than the very good, but very casual, restaurants we had visited around Lahaina. This restaurant and location was beautiful! Vegan/Vegetarian food was very good - we had the glazed brussel sprouts, lemon risotto, buffalo cauliflower and the Tofu and Noodle hot pot (only downside is the hot pot came out with no tofu). But other than that, all the food was very good. The wait staff was super nice and also gave us free desert for our wedding anniversary! The live music (solo guitarist/singer) was really good and made for a relaxing background sound for the meal. We knew going in that it's an open air restaurant, so we dressed accordingly, but were still sweating. Others around us looked comfortable, so it may have just been us. Even with that, I would still highly recommend for a nice Vegan/Vegetarian meal in a beautiful setting.

    Almost impossible to top the ambience and view, but the food and service somehow did. We had the Maui Onion soup to start along with 2 great salads. We had the wagon ribeye and the pork chop. Both were prepared incredibly juicy and flavorful and every bite seemed like paradise. Service was just top notch. Honestly think this is not only the best spot in Kapalua but all of Maui. If there was an option for 6 starts I would choose it.
