    Our person was wonderful! He was attentive but not smothering. Like us, he recalled that he had taken care of us before. He did an outstanding job, taking into consideration that staff was a bit short and that it is near Christmas (super busy).

    We went to the cannery restaurant for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. We got seated by the fireplace, the ambience was beautiful, food was absolutely amazing, and our waiter was wonderful. Would def recommend this restaurant!

    Our waitress was amazing and mage our anniversary something special. It was a quiet evening so the noise level was very comfortable. The Christmas decor was wonderful and the food was presented well and very enjoyable. See you next year!

    Cannery is by far my favourite restaurant. I have been to the Cannery numerous times and it just gets better every time. Food, Service, and Atmosphere is second to none. Great job guys keep up the excellence.

    Food was very good, my only issue was that they didn't reload empty platters food trays etc. Went for dessert and there was none left. Brunch was served until 2:30pm and at 2pm they were starting to clean and clear food tables. Food service should be available until the time you say it is over.

    We got there for brunch at 12:30pm, still 1.5 hours left and the food hadn’t really been refreshed so we ate the “end” of the food items. But overall it was a nice experience.

    we arrived about a half hour early for our reservation, but after a quick check the hostess had a cozy spot for 2 by the fire place and christmas tree. the place is beautiful decorated not over the top but very tasteful. after we where sitting for little bit our waitress came she was friendly but not too the ordering and the serving all was all very well timed. everything had the right temperature and tasted wonderful just perfect, the portions were a little on the big side. It is a very big place but it did not Feld like it at all. Overall a very good experience. thank you staff

    We really enjoyed our visit to the Cannery last evening. Our server Andres was very professional and personable. We had the Prime Rib dinner. Excellent . Cooked to perfection . Finished by sharing the Crème Brûlée. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will return . Thankyou

    The Cannery is our favourite place to dine! Always Great Service and the food Always Amazing! Our server Derek is like family! Great service and great sense of humour. Definitely recommend The Cannery for any occasion. We had our Anniversary Dinner. Spectacular! The Signature Prime Rib is perfect for the Meat Lover, i.e my hubby. I had the Salmon just the best combination of flavours. Can’t wait to be back! Enjoy.

    Our dinners (seafood tagliatelle and short ribs) were awesome! Our waiter Derick was attentive and even surprised us with a celebratory glass of sparkling wine for my birthday! This is one of our favorite restaurants.

    The appearance of the restaurant is superb...beautiful. The staff was considerate enough to place us next to a fireplace after I requested it. However, that could have been given simply because we were a party of two in a roomful of large groups and it was a small table. The waitress was thorough and considerate, timely with good suggestions. The braised short ribs and Chicken Supreme were both terrific. The Crab Cakes...meh. I could get the same thing from a box of frozen crab cakes from a supermarket. The crab meat was shredded, not lump meat. Also, the product definitely did not reflect the advertised image on the online menu. Lastly, although the online reservation asked if there was a special occasion. I indicated that it was my wife's birthday. However, nothing was done to acknowledge it. Even cheap restaurants bring out something like a dessert or drink to acknowledge the occasion. Disappointing. After dinner, we enjoyed walking around the beautifully lit gardens across the street. Overall, it was a fairly good experience. We just expected better, both from the reputation and the pricing.

    It was our first time going to The Cannery restaurant at Pillar and Post. It was also our 25th anniversary. Lisa was our server and she made us feel like we've known her for years. The food was amazing. The ambiance was so unique and beautiful. We stayed at a different hotel for this trip, but now seeing what Pillar and Post has to offer we'll be making arrangements to stay here next time. Highly recommend, especially if it'd your first time.

    They’re back baby! Having gone to the Cannery every year (1-2 times) since 2017, I can honestly say that they are back on top of their game as the best restaurant in town. That said, even during COVID when the menu understandably took a hit, the service was always A+. The ambiance last night was gorgeous with wider open spaces than in the past, beautiful holiday decorations and brighter lighting. The Prime Rib and Seafood Tagliatelle were outstanding as was the Peach Crumble the Ice Wine finishers. Service was incredible, as always. Thank you for making our special night so special and see you again soon!

    This is an old-fashioned restaurant, large in size but intimate at the same time. Tables are set enough apart so that conversation is easily conducted without shouting. The food was consistent with the last visit and service is the best. I highly recommend this pleasant restaurant.

    I have been a loyal customer of the Cannery for many, many years when visiting NOTL. Last night’s experience was NOT up to par. Though, the service was great as was the holiday decorated atmosphere. Our party of four had assorted appetizers all of which were fresh and tasty. The Traditional Prime Rib (x4) however; was not. The beef had an odd/off flavour and little gravy. Didn’t taste fresh for the price. The vegetables were over cooked…some burned. VERY disappointing…I will not recommend or return.

    First time at Cannery for dinner! Fabulous meal; I had the Marrakesh salmon and husband had the prime rib- delicious. Bread basket was so tasty!! Service was warm and accommodating! Highly recommended!!!

    We traveled his to Niagara Falls and truth be told, we’re disappointed with restaurants that were there. A friend suggested we look into Niagara on the lake and we found the Cannery  to drive out and have dinner. The atmosphere is charming. The people were great and the food was superb. Dave, the young man who waited on our table, could not possibly have been a better wait staff: Informative, helpful, and also very unobtrusive so that we could enjoy our evening and not feel rushed or have our delightful evening interrupted. Of course the Falls are impressive and memorable.. but so was our evening at the Cannery.. Thanks Dave!
