    The experience was a bit underwhelming. I expected more for a top notch restaurant. The ambience wasn't anything special. It was dark enough that it was hard to read the menu and truly appreciate the visual appearance of the food. The waiter was lovely and attentive. It was fairly noisy making conversation difficult at times. The food was good but fairly expensive so not sure there was good value for money.

    Where do I begin… I came in the day before my reservation to recon the place. It was early afternoon and was welcomed by the staff and let me tour the restaurant. I conversed with Eleni in regard her menu recommendations. She was quite helpful and was spot on with the two Negronis I enjoyed that afternoon. The night of the reservation - Tuesday, September 19, 2023. The ambiance was lively; just what I would expect. The staff (and guests) were friendly and everyone seemed to converse with one another. I reserved a seat for one in the bar area; my seat was the far left that had a spectacular view of Lake Ontario and the CN Tower. I started with a Negroni. George, my server, took my full order and it was coursed out appropriately and in a timely manner. The game tartare was phenomenal. The filet and cheek was cooked to my temperature and to perfection. I added the half lobster thermidor which took the entree course to another level. The entree paired well with two glasses of the Cabernet Franc. The wild blueberry dessert and espresso completed the meal. I want to give a shout out to my second server; I did not catch his name, but he had a short beard and wore glasses, but he did a phenomenal job as well. The ambiance, the dinner courses, the service was top notch, and it exceeded my expectations for this fine dining experience. Thank you to everyone at Canoe!!! I will dine here again when I return to Toronto!!!

    Steak had zero seasoning and extremely bland as was both the salmon and halibut. you wre paying for the views and ambience. Sneak in a big mac and you will have a good time.

    This was an amazing experience. I had never been to this fancy of a restaurant and i am nor disappointed at all. The view was amazing and the food was our of this world. The tastes are very hard to describe as they were perfection. Would 100% recommend

    Place is awfully pretty, but service (lack of) killed the mood. Server was not attentive. Long pauses between ordering drinks, food, missed item on order. Had to be ask for limes for water; had to inquire about service; had to ask for dessert menu. Server offered perfunctory service and little more. Price kept going up, but service has not caught up. Not much to rave about anymore.

    Wonderful evening for a special birthday celebration with friends. Had some items off the brand new tasting menu and they were all amazing with the ling cod the standout for me. Excellent service from Giancarlo and the team. A really interesting innovative kitchen, top level.

    Wow what a fabulous restaurant! We sat on the Chef’s rail and had the tasting menu. It was great to watch all the chef’s working their magic with such great ingredients. Each course was wonderful. The team looked after us brilliantly and the location and views were spectacular. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    Probably my favourite place to dine in Toronto. Every experiance has been positive and a the food is incredible. It's quite magical how everything just seems to make sense without any fluff. From the food to the ambiance. Canoe is curated to perfection.

    Terribly overrated. Not informed when we made reservation that all had to order tasting menu. Nothing on the website or menu said the whole table has to order tasting my guest has a number of allergies and couldn’t do tasting menu. She wanted a La carte options any way. Waiter said it was impossible for talented staff of Canoe to figure out how to serve a tasting menu and an a la charge menu to the same table. We ordered the Pork dish which was pitiful . Pork was minuscule. Some pork fat can be tasty but the dish was overwhelmingly fat vs actual meat. Cabbage was not presented in anyway that would be considered fine dining. Our Waiter was inattentive. He disappeared before pork was served when we would have liked another glass of wine. Then he disappeared again after we said we did not want dessert. Tried to get attention of other staff to get our check but was ignored. It would have been one thing to not be able to get the tasting menu but the level of overall service from this supposedly great restaurant was so disappointing. No effort was made to make this a good dining experience.

    Took my wife to Canoe for her birthday. When making the reservation, I indicated it was my wife's birthday and asked for a table with a view. We got there, and while we had a window table, it was directly obstructed by the stanchion in between the windows and couldn't see the CN Tower at all. My wife asked if we could have another table, and she was told rudely that we were lucky to have a window table. Next, the salmon my wife ordered was raw and caused her to feel sick later in the night. However, they did not charge us for the salmon when my wife indicated it was raw. Also, it was very loud and we could barely hear each other. My wife did not enjoy her birthday dinner, and it was a very disappointing experience.

Menu amazing, already one for the fall - sauces excellant but heavy Meat perfect done - chicken as well as 54 h rib- outstanding Prices on winelist astronomic! Esp for locals with average quality Really amazing menu in a noisy location

    Worth a visit for the sake of the experience. Service was great. I enjoyed most of the courses on the Tasting Menu, although some of them could have been better. The views from the restaurant are amazing and I would recommend it to someone who has the budget and willing to try it for the sake of a unique culinary experience.

    Excellent meals... we had the fish and the chicken meals. Great presentation and taste. The deserts were wonderful. The view from the 54th floor is awesome. Would definitely go again.

    What can I say that hasn’t been said already. Amazing views, amazing atmosphere. Food so good I had to keep shaking my head because I couldn’t believe it. Service really puts it over the top!

    The overall experience was average. I expected the rib eye steak to be better. It was not very flavourful at all. Service was average at best. We were hoping to have a special celebration but the experience let us down.

    Beautiful venue and excellent service. The food was generally very good but 5 of us had ordered the halibut which was a little dry - overcooked a little. The rib eye steak was also chewier than expected.
