I am a first generation Italian, and the food, service, and wines are just as good as being in Italy. Cantoro's is my #1 favorite restaurant for any occasion!

Jen gave us fantastic service. She was incredibly knowledgeable and offered us excellent suggestions. She was attentive without being intrusive; not an easy thing to master. She's a gem!

Our one complaint was that the prices were ridiculous. Seven dollars for a side salad? It had to be ordered separately as it did not come with the entrées.

Unless I was having some very special occasion, I would not be back because of the prices.

Had a great lunch with my friend on Sunday afternoon. As always, the food is sooooooooooo good! Our waitress Sandy, (expecting her first child...congratulations!), was on point. Everything about our dining experience was on point. Love coming back over and over again. I’m a huge fan! 👍🏼

This was a dinner planned prior to a movie date with 2 of my best girlfriends and our mothers. My mother had never been to Cantoro's before, so I was anxious for her to try it! We love the fact that you can get 1/2 orders of pasta! The food and wine selection is awesome! We had a wonderful dinner together and cannot wait to come back!

I’m a frequent Cantoro’s diner and today was a huge disappointment. I made a reservation through Open Table. I arrived about ten minutes early and the hostess dismissively told my party to return later after looking for the reservation. Upon returning we waited over five minutes while she had a personal conversation with a man who was not dining. She seated us upstairs and after I said I had a reservation in the main dining room and had a handicapped senior with me, she acted irritated. I asked for the manager and he was also impolite. His name was Dave. He said if I wanted the desired location I would have to leave by 6pm. WOW! There were only two other reservations and all other diners were walk-ins.
Fast forward, our server was polite but busy and slow and I felt very rushed to eat quickly. The food is usually very good but today is was tasteless. Everyone in my party agreed that it was bland and cold. We didn’t even want the carry out.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!
I will not be returning.

Amazingly delicious food. Dining space was slightly strange with very high ceilings from the market. Also had the plating window in the middle of the dining space and the restrooms were not well marked. Service was very good and can't say enough about the food - the fresh pasta was perfectly cooked.

Food was good and was ready pretty quickly. Restaurant is small and was very busy so our server had her hands full. I had to wait quite a while to get boxes for our leftovers and my check. Other than that, the experience was good.

Pasta bolognese is fabulous. Pizza is good. Will never order any fish there again. It was smelly and definitely not fresh.

We enjoyed celebrating New Year’s Eve at Cantoro’s. They do not have many options for vegetarians; however, the chef was able to adjust the preparation of one of the pasta dishes to accommodate me. We enjoyed the salad with fennel and oranges. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the risotto dish. The wine was very good. Our waiter, Michael, was attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. Though it was a busy night in the restaurant, we did not feel rushed and we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace.

While it was a busy night our waitress was attentive and nice. She took her time to let us taste a couple of wine selections. The 4 of us shared a few items. The burrata was delicious. The tagliatelle was good. None of us liked spinac e carciofi. It lacked flavor and tasted like you just had a mouth ful og spinach. I’ve eaten at Cantoro’s many times and have always had a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant

The food was phenomenal! The service was impeccable! Our waitress treated us like it was her restaurant and we were her very closest friends. We stop there anytime we are on that side of metro Detroit and we always try to take any friends who haven’t been :)

If you haven’t been, go today! If you have, go back!

Our food and service was excellent. My wife and I shared the pizza primavera, and it was great, as always. We also shared the fried zucchini, and the changes they made to it are wonderful!
The wine list is very extensive and has wines from most all of Italy's regions.

My girlfriends (5 of us) had gone for a special birthday dinner. Our service was absolutely terrible and the food took FOREVER!!! Yes, it was busy, however 2 hours to wait for a meal was unacceptable! I have been there before and never has it taken so long, which is why I suggested it, however it certainly left us all with a bad taste in our mouths!

We had a very nice dining experience. Our server was a wonderful young gal who was working a double shift that day and provided us with the most outstanding service. Wine and food were very good. Menu should offer daily specials, however, and did not. If there are only two people dining, I would recommend asking for a freestanding table (even if they are for 4), because the typical booth type seating next to larger groups is very annoying. The restaurant can get very loud and it's not very large to begin with. Overall very good.

We discovered Cantoro’s through a friend recommendation. We’ve dined here twice for dinner and have not been disappointed. The menu has tasty offerings at moderate prices. The food quality is excellent and the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lively but not excessively loud. We will continue to frequent Cantoro’s as our new go to place for savory meals.
