Great food and excellent service!

Pretty quiet considering it's a Father's day - maybe because people likes to be sitting out by the patio. The place quite cozy in the basement area. Slow service despite the quiet patrons. My food was great, my husband and daughter a bit disappointed as their food is barely warm. They replaced with a new one after we told them.

After the jays game on a Saturday night we we’re looking for a place to eat and thought we wouldn’t get in anywhere. Was able to get a reservation for 7pm! Service was fabulous! Food was better than the keg, around the same pricing. We had a great meal and would definitely be back next time we’re in TO.

Pre-concert dinner on a Saturday night. We had 5:45 reservations and were seated right away and had an attentive waiter. Told him about concert. Our food came hot and prompt. Prix Fixe menu is great value. Chipotle sirloin was to die for, cooked perfectly as we had requested. Hot chunky mash and fabulous steamed veg including asparagus when we went. So so good! Caesar salad to start was good and they always have the best crème brulee!!! Generous serving of silky sweetness with the best carmelized top! This is one of my go to spots and they did me proud as I had brought friends and everyone enjoyed! (Note, its down stairs, and dark lighting, so you know what to expect.)

Supper for 4 last Saturday - Food was excellent - 3 had Steaks, I had Ribs, delicious fall off the bones. Our waiter was very good, professional and fun with his High Tech note pad. Our go to restaurant in downtown TO.

A terrific meal, prepared to my specifications - -including the excellent very dry martinis. And outstanding service from a very likable bartender-waiter who was on the ball and personable.

We arrived late because our train was late arriving. They were very accommodating and because it ended up a late lunch it was very peaceful. My sister and I enjoyed a great lunch and the server was excellent. She was a lovely young lady.

Staff were friendly and helpful; food and service was very good overall.

The waitress that served us was very nice. The steak was excellent.

My dinner of the filet steak was very good but my wife's Cobb salad wasn't as it was listed in the menu as the menu didn't say what was in the cobb salad When it arrived there was a lot of baby kale which is not normally in a cobb salad and this wasn't listed as being part of the Cobb salad. If my wife new this, she wouldn't have ordered the Cobb salad. In addition, there was no bacon in the salad and my wife had to ask for it.

The Shrimp Bruschetta on a garlic crostini was very disappointing. The bread was chewy, not crostini at all and the shrimp was watery. This was taken off our tab.

The Prime Rib Sandwich, which we ordered lean with salad to share, was perfection. They split the order in the kitchen and gave us each an cabernet jus, which was nice.

We enjoyed a bottle of Leonardo Chianti on 1/2 price wine Monday which was a very welcome perk.

Our group arrived on a Monday for an early lunch as we only had an hour, after being seated at 11:45am (before the lunch crowd) it took 50 mins to get our food from ordering. Our server was hard to track down and mostly unavailable. When the food arrived we had to send one plate back (after the 50 mins) due to an allergy which was mentioned to the server but completely ignore or forgotten. Overall our server was inattentive and unavailable which had not been my prior experiences at this location. Perhaps it was just a bad server who unfortunately ruined the overall dinning experience.

My second time there and I loved it as much as the first time. The food and the service was amazing! I wish we had Canyon Creek in Ottawa!

Had a fantastic dinner on Friday June 1. Had a 5 pm reservation. Unfortunately due to traffic and TTC issues we all arrived at different times. Our server Jerid was terrific given I sat alone fir the better part of an hour. It was busy he made me feel comfortable and not pressured to hurry the heck up. I orders apps for my table there would be food when they arrived since we were headed to a concert. Once they all arrived the order was promptly taken and delivered very promptly. Shrimp burchetta, prime rib sliders and the Canyon Creek dip were all fantastic. Dinner was salads, all fresh and delish. No complaints. Given the circumstances it was a great experience. Thanks Canyon Creek and Jerid for making it a terrific dinner.

Had a wonderful dinner with friends!!! Lots of menu options! We were pressed for time and they were very accommodating! Food was delicious!!! A very enjoyable experience!

Food was wonderfully plated, delicious. Service was quick at the beginning but then started to get busy and service was effected!

Our dining experience at this Canyon Creek location was amazing. Our server Kate was great. She was so attentive and ever present. Our food was served at the same time (for a party of 11, that was fantastic) we didn’t even have to wait that long. Everyone enjoyed their respective orders which consist mostly of Prime Rib Sandwich (hands on choice of the day) King Burger, Harvest Bowl, Veggie burger and Shrimp Ravioli.

The food was really good- the steaks were cooked just right and the sides were very complimentary to the steak. The service was very fast

New me not as good as previous. Not very good value at all. Not going back

Had a great experience at Canyon Creek. It as an after theatre meal and I loved the Fixed Price Menu - best bang for your buck. Ordered the Prime Rib which was perfect. Our server was "right on his game", apparently the owners son. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would recommend Canyon Creek for a meal out in Toronto.

Everything was great as usual but when I reserved through Open Table I had clicked that it was for a birthday and our server asked us if there was a special occasion. Isn't that why we click on that option?

Very good overall

I regularly eat at canyon creek however this is the first time I was not happy with the meal. The steak was cold and not cooked to my preference which i decided based on the guidelines listed on the menu.

I will leave this comment again, as I did about two weeks ago. The change to your menu is less than ideal an the prices have increased substantially. The menu posted online is not the same as in the restaurant so I had made a decision based on the online menu and was disappointed that the item was not available with the change in your menu. You need to update the online menu.
Also, the music was somewhat loud and made conversation difficult. It is less likely that I will return with these changes to the menu, unfortunate since the location is good.

Went for Mothers Day. My 2nd visit. My mom's first. Had the 6oz + Lobster TAIL.

Better. Hotter. More properly dished etc. Megan was our server this time around. She was good but there was another server taking over the section and he was rude and could tell he put a bad vibe on other tables... 815pm. Maybe quarter full at the time.
