Canyon Creek never disappoints. The food is delicious, the service great.
Friendly. Attentiveness. I was hoping for a view of the falls but the restaurant didn't appear to have any open view due to foliage on the trees. I'm sure when the tree lose their leaves there would be spectacular views. We could see the fireworks through the trees. Food was excellent. Very good selection of wine and specialty drinks.
We are local residents that came to Canyon Creek as we were attending a musical at the Avalon Ballroom. Food was excellent, service was outstanding! Will definitely be back!
Great Prix Fixe menu and delicious drink choices. Amazing views of the Canadian and American Falls. Nice location inside the Fallsview Casino complex.
Our first time to eat at Canyon Creek. We were visiting Niagara Falls. The food was amazing and done to perfect! No complaints!
We could see the lights of the falls from our table. Unfortunately the trees have matured and unable to view the falls.
Would eat here again!
Food was not cooked as we ordered it. Prime rib was well done and ordered medium. Also, food was just luke warm when served. Service was just fair.
I was impressed with the quality of our (birthday) steaks, but a follow up of the 'pepper mill' might have been nice, which was not not offered.
I had to remind host/server this was a "birthday-booked" occasion, before the birthday treat was offered up, I didn't know whether i should order dessert or not.
Not impressed, I booked a reservaion a week in advanced for a date night (30th bday celebration) I was hoping to get a table with a nice view, a celebratory Champaign or dessert. None of that happened they didn’t even acknowledge that we were celebrating anything. We also waited 10 minutes for a host to seat us even though the restaurant was empty. Overall the food was good and our server was really nice. But we will not be returning based on our poor experience.
We came here for our anniversary and it was so special! We could see the falls illuminated at night from our table! The food was delicious and a great value.
We were there to celebrate our 32 nd wedding anniversary . The web site stated dress code was elegant casual ; not the case, One "Gentleman" we noticed was wearing T- shirt , jeans I may have brought my walker,
There were 4 ladies. I had a Cobb salad, another had penne chicken, another had salmon, last lady had King Burger. Food was delicious.
Food - quite bad. Ordered medium-rare prime rib and it came as well done. Sent it back and when the medium-rare came back it was tough! One of the worst prime ribs I've ever had. Companion's salmon was over-cooked yet the vegetables were close to raw. One dessert, the "s'mores crème brulee" was topped with burnt mini-marshmallows. All I could think of was if this is the standard that the executive chef sets, then this restaurant has serious problems.
Our server was over-friendly and tried too hard. A nice young woman but needs some serious training about how to serve wine and how to approach and deal with customers.
As someone who lives in the Niagara area, I understand the "tourism mentality", but this restaurant is embarrassing. Spend your money somewhere else, and if you do go, do not expect good food.
Overall good, however the waitress was a bit slow on the service. Appetizer came out before the wine...
This was an overall OK visit. It took a while for us to get seated because the hostess had to go and clear tables herself (or so she said). Our server was nice and patient as we decided on drinks and dinner. We were disappointed, however, in the wait times before each course. What we were hoping for a rather quick dinner turned into a 2+ hour meal. The food was good, although two steaks weren't cooked as ordered. We didn't have anyone check-in with us to check in with us, so we just ate what we had, and had no interaction with out server until she stopped by to ask if we were ready for dessert. We really like the food and ambiance in Canyon Creek restaurants, but this visit was a bit disappointing.
This was a wonderful choice to have a special dinner date! The waiter was awesome, the food was exquisite and the setting was perfect. We got a couple appetizers, one being the shrimp ravioli which was excellent, and then we shared a prime rib dinner, which was very good. The waiter had recommended a local red wine (can't remember the name) which was perfect with our meal. Monday's, they offer half off a bottle of wine, so we ordered the whole bottle. We would definitely go back here.
We had dinner at Canyon Creek in Niagara Falls for our first anniversary and loved it! Our server was friendly, and attentive but not in your face. The pre fixe menu for 47 included a salad, steak/mashed potatoes and creme brule, all was delicious! We would definitely go back when in the falls
Great experience !!! Would definitely eat there again.
I had the harvest bowl and added salmon. By far one of the best meals I have ever had! Just an explosion of flavor. So sad we found this gem on our last night in town and I may never have the opportunity to have this meal again. Here's hoping they'll extend delivery to Gloucester Mass! Oh and the fresh bread with honey butter was simply amazing as well!
Great place, great food! Definitely highly recommended.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant, close to the Falls. There isn't much of a view though.. which was a shame.. but the food made up for that. The veggie burger was good! Waitresses were also very friendly and personable. Keep it up.
The server was friendly enough but didn’t go out of her way. Side salad was very small. My steak was good and cooked perfectly. Mashed potatoes could have been hotter. If you are a picky wine drinker, you might be disappointed. One thing I noticed during my visit to Canada the promote their local wine, which I totally understand , unfortunately for me I didn’t care much for them. Not many other choices to be had. It seems to when making a reservation with Open Table asking if it is a special occasion the restaurant never acknowledges.
Very disappointed with this experience at Canyon Creek. Been there before and it was great. We ordered steak and frites which arrived with cold frites. Told server immediately who took our plates away and said it would get sorted. It returned (with our prompting) with luke warm fries and a barely warm steak and the waitress told us we should have kept the steak and just sent the fries back which server didn’t suggest. While it was nice of them to complement the dinner, it would have been nice to have eaten at the same time as the other couple we were with. Needless to say we won’t be going back.
We were celebrating our anniversary and we’re seated on time, window seat per our request. THERE IS NO FALLS VIEW as you indicated. If we had known this we would have gone elsewhere. But, our meal was good, our waitress exceptional and a nice dessert as a surprise, thank you.
Waiter was great, food was good....nice atmosphere.
The food was delicious.
Food is always amazing. Service is always top notch. Lovely view. Only complaint is that the air conditioning was on too high for a cool day. I'm always warm, and we had to ask to move and then even get my husband to go get our wraps/sweaters out of the car.
Picked this place for proximity to Niagara Falls. Requested window seat in reservation and received, but no falls view. Waitress super friendly and accommodating, food was fine.
We go there several times a year when friends from out of town visit us in the Falls. We have always enjoyed the view of the Falls. The restaurant has been hit and miss with respect to the food. This time was EXCELLENT! Perhaps there is a new chef. Worth the visit now.
Great food and service as always. Prices have been increased again which is unfortunate.
Need more variety for the choose of pasta & also change the menu more frequent especially for something seasonal.
Food reasonable, service good but food a little overpriced.
Great restaurant waitress was great and food came fast will book this venue again
Food was decent, but, overpriced. It was a birthday, and, although the waitstaff were informed, there was nothing noted or acknowledged. Rather disappointing.
Great food and great service. We wanted to dine while enjoying the views of the falls. Lots of trees but were still able to see the falls lit up at night. Overall great time
Everything was great. Catherine was our server and did a tremendous job . Highly recommended
Always enjoy having dinner at Canyon Creek...great ambience and staff are extremely friendly attentive and knowledgeable. The food is delicious and tasty...no bad choices.
After reading the reviews prior to making a reservation I was very disappointed by the ambiance and restaurant environment. I thought I was getting a bit of an upscale restaurant from the reviews and initial bar/lounge area however the restaurant was more of an upscale diner. Booths around the windows and more family oriented than I would have guessed. Service was great and I would go back but with lower expectations.
Good food and great, friendly service
Awesome dinner! Great value for Niagara Falls. Would go back in a heartbeat!
We hadn’t gone for a dinner date in a long time and were so happy we chose Canyon Creek. It was amazing!!! We will be back for sure!
