   We stopped by randomly and it was a great meal. Drinks were good. Friday walleye special excellent. Wife’s chicken dish very good. Server was really good.

   I had the fish sandwich with the wild rice. Fish was nice and crispy (yum) and the rice was very tasty too. My friend got the blackened salmon salad, and she loved her meal as well. Liam was our server and he was great—very friendly and upbeat and brought new sodas when ours were running low.

   Great place to meet friends and family. Not too stuffy, you can take your loud uncle and not have him embarrass you too much. Always consistent food!

   This place has a such a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious. A bit pricy though. Our server was probably the nicest one ove had in a long time from anywhere.

   Excellent food and vibe. Shake took longer than the food which is a minor misstep but the quality of everything was excellent. We each had the meatloaf sandwich, one with fries and one with coleslaw. The coleslaw was the way I like it as not too creamy and not dripping in sauce.

    Seriously - One of the best restaurants in town. It never disappoints - Wonderful service and food. We took a first-timer to Cap City for brunch, and he was thrilled with his choices, as were the rest of our party was. The place was packed, but service was quick & personable. Food arrived very hot. Refills were attended-to promptly.

    We ended up sitting at the bar. Both bartenders were very knowledgeable about the menu and made an excellent old fashioned. My husband and I both enjoyed our food. I have celiac and it was nice to be able to have fish and chips. We had a great time!! I highly recommend this restaurant!

    I have celiac disease and Cap City was recommended to me by a friend for their Gluten Free Fish -n- Chips, which I have not been able to enjoy for years due to Celiacs. I can honestly say the Fish -n- Chips were absolutely delicious! The best! I will definitely be back for more. My wife ordered the Salmon and she said it was also delicious and she would definitely order it again. The atmosphere was perfect; the service was top of the line, the food- amazing. I guess I can’t say more than that. Want a great Meal? Go to Cap City on Olentangy In Columbus, OH

    There were a lot of people waiting but luckily we had reservations. They had our table ready and seated us as soon as we arrived. Great service and wonderful dinner.

    Cap City is awesome. We took an employee that was retiring with 39 years of service for lunch. He loved it. Everyone was very polite and professional. Thank you for making his retirement day amazing.

    Liver and onions done perfectly. The seasonal vegetable plate had a lovely and delicious assortment. Our waiter Ryan was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. It was very busy but our table was ready at 6:45, right on time for our reservation.

    We were seated in the Diner area. We’ve never sat there before and were not fond of sitting near the kitchen. However the noise level from the kitchen and entry way wasn’t too bad last night.

    We enjoyed everything about this experience. Our food came really quick and hot and good. Both me and my partner will eat there again because even for the price it was excellent. The taste was perfect. They even gave me a free dessert for my birthday! I recommend this place to anyone.

    Cap City has always been our GO TO spot for going out! We never have to worry about the service, the food or the atmosphere as they are always top notch!!! Warren was our server (only been there for 4 days) for the evening and he was excellent! We sat on the diner side and thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience!

    We were seated immediately upon arrival and the service was outstanding throughout our visit. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Servings were plenty and in fact, we went home with doggy bags. Highly recommend this restaurant for the service and quality of food along with the ambience.

    If you want simple American diner food, elevated just a little, Cap City Diner is the place to go. From the salads to the meatloaf to the fish and chips, it was all delicious. I still think the slices of cake they serve are too big, but they are tasty. Nice place to have a good meal with the family.
