   We had late reservations after graduation, waited about 10 min to get drinks ordered, placed appetized. salad and main course all at the same time. Waited and waited finally appetizers and salads showed at same time, the soup my daughter ordered was cold. It was replaced quickly, but should not have been cold. Waited for main course a little longer than I would have expected, and my daughter ordered her dish special (leaving the bread off the meatloaf) because of allergies, it came with bread!. Food quality was fair. The restaurant was not busy, just not the service we are accustomed to. Cap City is our favorite and we eat there frequently. Come on Cap City get your A game back!

   We were seated right away in a booth and our server Grace came up to us almost immediately and got our drink order, she was so pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered our meals and in less than 5 minutes received rolls, both regular and gluten free because one guest has an allergy. We received our food shortly after we finished our rolls which were hot and delicious. I then received another glass of ice for my iced tea which I didn’t even have to ask for. We got gluten free fish and chips and the apple salad with grilled chicken. Both of our meals were wonderful. The only place I know of that has gluten free fish and chips. It was a wonderful meal and experience. Grace was an absolutely delightful server. She was very personable and certainly did her job most excellently.

   Cap City is one of our favorite casual "event " restaurants. We prefer the Grandview location but Dublin os also excellent. Always great food and service, but truly this most recent visit was exceptional thanks to stellar service by Warren. We'd never had him as a server before. His attention to detail was incredible and his personality was both professional and fun. Thank you Cap City and Warren for a top notch experience 👏

    Excellent service, the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and fast. The food was VERY good. We got an appetizer, 2 entrees, a glass of twine and dessert for $100. Seemed high for two people, but maybe we don’t go to enough nice restaurants, lol. It was a very nice night out.

    Our food and server were spot on!!! We had reservations for 7:30 on a very busy evening, Mother's Day Sunday and we were comfortably sitting at our table by 7:35pm! Everything was great!

    The waitress was awesome. My adult children treated me to dinner for Mothers Day. She could have said Happy Mothers Day or acknowledged Mother’s Day. If she didn’t know she could have asked. My food was good but it was not hot. She offered to have it recooked but I didn’t want to wait longer while my children had their food.

    This restaurant used to be great. It has gone down hill from food to service. The last two times we visited service was slow, food was not as good and it was expensive. Not sure we'll be back...

    Despite it being one of the major dining-out days of the year, Mother’s Day, we had excellent service and the food was delicious and delivered on a timely basis. From the calamari appetizer, my wife’s dinner salad to my salmon entree, everything was better than I had imagined. Valentines Day and Mother’s Day can be difficult days to have a good dining experience, but they came through with flying colors! Our server, Alex, was fantastic!

    It's always a pleasure to eat at Cap City Diner. The server and Chef always make a Smoked Turkey sandwich for me that has been removed from the menu. Great food and great service.

    Really wanted to like this place but we probably will not return. We had the Salmon Ponzu, Fried fish sandwich & Romano Chicken Parm. Salmon Ponzu was perfect - highly recommend. Chicken Parm was meh. The fish sandwich was awful - it truly should be pulled. Bun was so hard it was not edible. Fish breading was fine but the actual fish was disgusting. We enjoyed our drinks but were kinda turned off by meal so didn’t have dessert. It was ~$250 with tip for 4 of us. Definitely not worth it. Cute diner concept & pleasant staff - just fix the food quality.

    The food, atmosphere, staff and server were wonderful and great. Our son was out with a friend before Prom and he is autistic. We had it set up so we can have the tab on ours without interfering with their meal The host, manager and server made sure all went smoothly for them.

    Had to check out the cheeseburger to rate against the rest of Columbus greats. Made it in our top 5 spots! Nicely put together with fresh shredded lettuce, mayo, chopped onion, red ripe tomatoe, pickles and cheese. We’ll done! In all the years of dining at Cap City we’ve never had the cheeseburger and we’ll be back just for that.
