   When making reservations they asked if any special occasion. I told them a birthday. The waitress knew it & said several times that “ Mike “ needed to save room for desert. We assumed she would bring at least a little slice of cake. Very disappointed your restaurant couldn’t afford a little slice. Especially after waitress bringing it up several times!!!

   Food and ambience were great. Service also good. We asked the chef (via our waitress) if they could make a pizza half/half but were told no due to how hectic the week had been. Not sure how much extra effort is required to take standard toppings and spread some on each side.

    Perfect dinner for our first night in Memphis. The hostess and our server were so welcoming and attentive. The filet was melt in your mouth tender and the flavor will blow you away. The baked potato and trimmings is giant, but so good you want want to stop.

    Overpriced and underwhelming. $55 steak was mediocre at best and sides are all extra, of course. Service started out great but once we were done eating we waited 20 minutes for our check. They did validate parking, which we appreciated.

    My fiancé and I took his mother here for Mother’s Day. Primarily because we are considering The Peabody for our wedding events. The service from everyone from the hostess to the server to the management staff was sub-par for a (advertised as) “luxury” establishment. We were not offered wine, or other drinks at the beginning of the meal. And the one drink I did order (after chasing down one of the managers to assist me) could not be made because the bar was out of Remy Martin - no other recommendation was offered. Our meals were decent at best, and my mother-in-law sent hers back for something else which was more enjoyable. As our used appetizer and salad plates, as well as our soup bowls and finished dinner plates were stacking up - we asked the server if he would clear them. He told us no, that they don’t clear the table until everyone is finished eating. Baffled by such an assertion, I neatly stacked the plates and moved them to a nearby station where staff had stacked other used plates. Two servers, one of the managers AND actual “busboys” watched me do it - and offered NO ASSISTANCE. I will NEVER go here again; in fact The Peabody is no longer on our short list of wedding venues. I can only imagine how it’s run, if one of its primary restaurants is managed so poorly. HUGELY DISAPPOINTING.

    - booked reservation based on a $46/person advertised price ... menu priced @ $75/person when seated & opened menu - no bread, butter, honey setup (as advertised) @ buffet ... had to ask server - buffet set up right behind the expo window & was single-sided ... should have been set up on main floor & double-sided - soup set up @ buffet did not have soup spoons ... after asking 3 servers, was brought a table spoon (which was bigger than the coffee spoon they had in a dishwasher container by soups) These would not be good at any overpriced buffet but, especially, @ a historic hotel ... mgmt there is clearly performing poorly ... sad, too

    On Saturday, it was my first time back to Capriccio since before COVID. Unfortunately, the experience was in my opinion a waste of time and money. To be clear--This bad review has nothing to do with the service. All of the staff were attentive and polite. --- All of us seemed to enjoy our 1st course of brunch and desserts. However... The quality of the entrees has gone down terribly. The cuts of meat are not as described on the menu. Two of us ordered ribs and received roast beef in bbq sauce. Personally, I ordered the marinated skillet steak and it was essentially inedible. The gnocchi was hard and rubbery. The sauce tasted like sweet baby rays mixed with a whole bottle of soy sauce creating a sweet, bitter, and overly salty concoction. The meat was ordered medium rare but was too difficult to cut even after I requested a steak knife. I do not like to complain to receive refunds but one person at our table did and an entree was removed from the bill. Still, after $200 brunch at a table of 4, all of us went out to eat at a different restaurant within an hour of leaving Capriccio Grill because we were still hungry. Would you recommend Capriccio Grill Peabody Hotel - Memphis to a friend? If they make some changes to go back to their old menu pre-covid, absolutely. Right now, I do not recommend.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Capriccio Grill. We had the appetizer of fried oysters and they were delicious. We shared a filet and an order of the grilled scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Great job!

    We really enjoyed this restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start our day. We enjoyed the omelettes as well as the egg platter. The rye toast with a selection of preserves was very good. The fruit platter for two was exceptional- honey dew, cantaloupe, orange slices, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and pineapple slices. The service was great. We also enjoyed a light dinner here one night. The chicken parmigiana dinner was very nicely prepared with a generous side of pasta.

    The food is exemplary! There’s something for everyone here, from wonderful pizzas to steak. Yes, it’s a bit $pendy, as you would expect from a big city hotel. The staff was a bit overwhelmed the night we were there, but it was excusable. Try it - you’ll like it!

    A nice, but not great, meal. Service from Seth(?) was great. A unique bread and butter plate had 3 very nic butters and 2 that we didn't enjoy so much. We were told it isn't to the menu and changes wil be made based on customer feedback. Located in the historic Peabody Hotel. Room was a bit dated and there was no Memphis flare.     We were staying at the Peabody hotel, so it was very convenient to dine here for a friends birthday. Our server was excellent very pleasant and informative. We started out with the bread board that everyone seem to really enjoy. One just had the pasta Bolognese and loved it, and the other one had another pasta cream sauce that she really enjoyed as well, I ordered the French onion soup and the crabcake which I really enjoyed especially the remoulade sauce. It was my birthday, so they sent it dessert which was very lovely. I highly recommend it would definitely go back.
