Love, love love this place! Food is delicious and service is prompt and friendly. Location is good too —-don’t have to go all the way in town and parking is no problem. Returning soon!
Great experience, food and atmosphere. Would definitely return. Sat outside and was very nice setting.
I took my wife (her birthday) and son for dinner-8/4. Our server was Jessica (hope I recall correctly), who was knowledgeable, polite and responsive. The food was delicious (lobster ravioli, veal medallions w/fettuccini and halibut--can't recall the menu names). We definitely will return, as it is a great restaurant in downtown Annapolis; we parked in the garage up the street (plenty of room).
Christina was the best waitress. Very attentive and on the ball . Made the meal even more special.
The first time I was here and we all loved the food. The only down fall is, as we were leaving anyway, the fire alarm went off for the whole complex. Glad we were done with an awesome dining experience.
This was our first time at Carpaccio. We were greeted by very friendly staff, Christina and Tara. When we asked to sit at one of the tables with bench seats, they quickly moved two tables together. The wine selection was very good, especially the reds. The break was scrumptious. We joked that we could make a meal of the bread and wine. We had to leave promptly as we had a show to attend, but we absolutely plan to go back. I had the spinach salad with chicken, as did my friend. We both were surprised at how juicy the chicken was. My husband had the special white fish and our other friend had sliced salmon.
Entrees came when we were only half through our salads. Took too long to refill water glasses. Server several times interrupted to ask us if we were “still working on that,” when it was obvious that nobody wa a finished with their meal.
The team at Carpaccio always do a great job- Luigi and Louis always are amazing
7/24/18 lunch. Our server was beyond delightful ( blond ponytail, tall). The spinach salad with salmon was delicious!!
Haven’t been here in ages and don’t know why. The happy hour carpaccio was half price and delicious, with tender paper-thin slice filet. The Pinot Noir was juicy and easy to drink. For my meal I had the lamb paparedelle and my husband killed my leftovers. The service was quick, friendly and efficient even though she was also tending bar the service was seamless. My husband had the salad with salmon added and he enjoyed it. Parking is easy and plentiful. I know we will be back sooner rather than later.
We can never go wrong booking here well in advance or at the last minute. Great restaurant!
Food was great, service was very slow. Took 25 minutes just get a bottle of wine from the moment we were seated. Our dining experience could’ve been better.
We frequent this restaurant a lot. The waitress messed up my order and the veal dish I usually get was awful. Hopefully just the waitress food is usually excellent!
The waiter (Shamus) was fantastic. Great personality, very friendly and helpful. We really were pleased we were at his table. The food was good but not spectacular. It needed salt/pepper and lacked flavor. The bread that was brought to the table tasted like good bread but spread with tomato sauce and Italian seasoning blend. Nothing special and I only took one small bite of my piece. Definitely did not live up to the "fine dining" experience we expected. The drinks were "thin" and tasted watery (although i could taste the alcohol so who knows) but I appreciated the effort of the bartender to look up the drink we suggested. Overall, it was a good dinner because of the fun waiter but the good disappointed.
What a great surprise Carpaccio was!! The service was topnotch, the food was excellent, and al fresco dining was delightful. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.
Ate outside. Not scenic but very pleasant. Excellent salad, good veal. We will return.
Delicious food—as always. Tonight we had exceptional service as well and a delightful ambiance outside by the fountain.
Calamari appetizer was awesome. Order the Rockfish special which was dry and disappointing, especially for the price. Gelato ice cream desert was very good.
Great food. Sangria was amazing!! Will certainly go back.
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff!! This is my new favorite place!! If I were a food critic (professionally that is), I would give Carpaccio's the highest reviews.
Great restaurant. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely evening! Our server, Ella, was very personable and friendly!
I think the waiter forgot to put in my order. I was dining alone outside and waited for the better part of an hour before they brought me the wrong salad, which they then corrected, then finally dinner arrived which frankly tasted terrible. It was supposed to be Chicken Marsala, but tasted nothing like it. The waiter knew my dinner was a disaster and the host came over to say they were covering my dinner, thankfully. But I would never return nonetheless.
Average food - nothing to write home about. Disappointing.
We love Carpaccios , it's definitely one of the my favorite restaurants in Annapolis ! The food is delicious & the service is excellent. I have never been disappointed and highly recommend it!
Everything was very good. Close to excellent. Was close to hall for concert and an easy walk.
Four golf friends and we had a blast. The level of service was spot on. Not too pushy, but there when we were ready. Wonderful selection on the menu and everything was very good, from Carpaccio to the Eggplan parm to the special fish of the day. Great wine selection and just an overall great place.
Note: huge portions, so consider splitting.
Always a great place. Food, staff, bartenders, everyone are all terrific. We are always taken care of. We love this place!
We waited 1.5 hours for our food to get to our table. When we first arrived the restaurant t wasn't busy at all. And after 1.5 hours, the restaurant was full and the service sucked! The waitress didn't clear off the table after appetizers. Then my husbands food wasn't good, so we asked a runner to get the waitress so we can tell her about the food. The manager was contacted. He never came over and the waitress picked up the food. But neither of them apologized to us. The food did come off the check though!!
We were celebrating Father's Day and my daughter in law's birthday. It was very hectic, and food was slow coming out, especially bread that they bring to all tables. However, server was gracious and polite. Starting "pizza bread" is delicious. We had Shrimp Arugula as an appetizer. It has a great lemon garlic sauce, along with white beans. My stepson said he would never have selected this from the menu, but he really enjoyed it. He had chicken parmegian, my daughter in law had a pizza with arugula, my husband had crepes suzette, and I had the bronzino in a great lemon sauce with a "cake" made with greens, walnuts and olives. Out of this world good! This really was something we all enjoyed!
Loved it. Great food, good service, dog friendly (outside). Great experience.
One of my favorite restaurants
Thankfully can walk to it from home!
We sat outside which is a little hard on the wait staff but the did a great job. As always, the food was excellent and delivered quickly.
Excellent food, service and wine. We have been here many times with friends and family, and every time it has been great! Great wine and food selection, relaxing atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend!
Our party of two was seated at a center table with very few other guests around. The complementary foccacia bread was very nice. We shared a generous salad and two entrees: eggplant parmesan and gnocchi. Both dishes were tasty, though nothing special, and had rather flat texture and flavor. Both the white and red wines we had with dinner served as nice complements. The server was very cordial and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not provide any validated parking, so a parking charge of $5 to $7 awaits many diners.
2nd visit, great food and decent service
Surprisingly great food. Try the grilled calimari and the seafood linguini!!!
This is a favorite restaurant of ours and we love the food and atmosphere. On this particular occasion we had a problem. Our dinners were taking a rather long time but our waitress seemingly had disappeared and no communication was made to us. Finally, a member of our party inquired as to status and she found out she had accidentally put a 100 minute instead of 10 minute wait on our entrees for which she apologized. No immediate compensation was made but with prompting from us, extra wine was offered. In the end we were comped our full wine bottle as well. I The runner who delivered our salads was quite brusque and we had to ask for fresh ground pepper on it. I hope this was just an off night because we’ve never had a problem before.
Carpaccios never disappoints. Food is consistently excellent and servers are well trained and friendly.
Luigi the manager and Rachel the server are an incredible team. The food is always outstanding!
