The sauce is amazing! The hostess was excellent. The restaurant is seated in a nice and safe area of town.
Carpaccio is a favorite go to restaurant. The food is consistently very good, and the service is great as well. If it’s not too hot it is fun to sit outside.
As always, a wonderful evening was enjoyed at Carpaccio! One of Annapolis’s best restaurants!
My husband and daughter had reservations for Mothers Day dinner for me at Carpaccio. The food we did receive was outstanding, however we asked for bread 3 times and no one brought us any. The bus staff came to our table with a plate with what looked like bread but it was dirty dishes from another table. I understand holidays can be hectic but if the staff we asked for bread would have simply acknowledged they didn't have any we would have understood. Instead our table was avoided by the waiter. We wanted dessert but the waiter didn't show up at our table for a long time after we had eaten our entrees, so we simply asked for the check.
Everything was great! The food is always amazing! My kids and I really enjoyed ourselves. Only downside was our waiter was not as attentive as he could have been.
Carpaccio is a family favorite. It was quite crowded on Mother's Day, however, the service, food and noise level were excellent!
Simply the best Italian restaurant in town. We have never been disappointed.
Carpaccio is consistently excellent with their food & service!
Great food, awesome service from Jessica.. great evening!
I think it's a popular spot but to us the food was lacking in flavor. Looked good, though.
The service was outstanding! The young lady who was our server couldn’t have been better. She was knowledgeable, quick to take our orders, and very polite and pleasant. Our only slight complaint is with the pizza bread that they serve instead of traditional italian bread with olive oil and spices.
We dined here with another couple, had a 5:30 pm reservation on a Saturday night. When we walked in, the place was almost empty, but by 6:00 pm it was packed with no empty tables. So if you are going on a Saturday night, go early, or have a reservation!
We each had a drink from the bar - mojitos, martinis, and wine. All were good. We did not have appetizers, but our meals were definitely enough food! Two of us had the Penne Raffaele with whole wheat penne, mushrooms, eggplant, garlic and crumbled goat cheese. One dish came with the regular pomodoro ragu, and the other dish it was swapped out for a rose sauce. Both were delicious. One person ordered the veal parmesan which was also good. And the last person ordered the fish special of the day stuffed with seafood and a side of mixed vegetables. Every dish was wonderful!
Although we were all full from dinner, we were celebrating a birthday so we ordered 2 desserts to share - the canoli and the almond cake. The canoli was very good. The almond cake was ok, not bad but I would not order it again.
The wait staff was great until the end when our waitress forgot to bring us forks for the dessert. Other than that, water glasses remained full, service was attentive.
Food is always very good but the portions are on the smaller side (which is probably better anyway)!!
Sat at the bar and had drinks and a wonderful dinner with a date. Amy the bartender was most attentive and made sure everything was perfect.
Had a ball! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Apps were very good and steak was perfectly cooked. We'll be back very soon.
We enjoyed an outdoor lunch on a beautiful Spring day and had fantastic service by John. The food was very good, including a light and delicious arugula salad, grilled branzino in a lemon butter sauce, and two orders of veal annapolis with crab. We shared a very nice napoleon for dessert. The outdoor seating is set up in such a way that the noise from West Street was not really disturbing.
Exceptional service and menu.
We had the best time and the food was wonderful. Christine or Christina was our waitress on Sunday night and she has the best personality. She was outstanding. Food was perfect!
My wife went for a salad and an order of grilled calamari. The salad that came with it was pretty good but not so the calamari. I had linguine with clams. Not nearly as good as we make at home (not to mention other restaurants that totally nail this dish). All in all, a disappointing experience.
Great food, nice bar
Food was amazing. Pizza “Grandma” and Lasagna was awesome. We will be back. Cristina is the best Waitress. She is on her game. Will be back in two weeks.
It's one of our favorite Italian restaurants. If you want authentic Italian food with ambiance like Roma, don't miss this place.
We are local, and we love carpaccio. Wonderful Italian, and fantastic gourmet flatbread!
Carpaccio’s service is always excellent and the food never disappoints. It is my favorite place for meeting local friends or entertaining visitors to Annapolis.
Outstanding service. The food was perfect. I would definitely dine here again.
Food was good
My husband and I took our good friend out for brunch here, and she loved it! We had a "Shrimp Arugula" appetizer with prawns over white beans and arugula in a wonderful lemon sauce. They brought out pizza bread, topped with tomato and pepperoni. Great texture... addictive! I have food allergies and diabetes, so the bronzino filet with a small, round cake shaped mixture of greens, black olives and walnuts, and a wonderful, dairy'free lemon sauce were perfect. Glucose stayed in control, and I really enjoyed my meal with no problems later. My husband had Crepes Suzette (which he's had here before), and our friend had a veggie omelet, expertly formed (round and browned at the edges, with potatoes in a disc type shape on top and in the center). Yes, their food is beautiful, and it's even more delicious! Server was wonderful, kept our coffee refilled and brought more bread. Sunday brunch prices not bad, with our entrees $12 - $21 (my fish was the highest), and outstanding shrimp appetizer I think was around $12. This was really a memorable brunch! I would highly recommend. Surprisingly not super crowded when we went (1:20pm), and they have some outdoor seating as well.
Food was pedestrian; disappointing compared to prior dining experiences. Waitress reached over guest to get items off table, this was not appropriate behavior for this level of dining.
This is one of our go-to restaurants when visiting Annapolis. It has a very nice Italian menu with lots of options for our vegetarian friends. The food and service are always very good. Plus, it's away from the main tourist areas.
Fresh ingredients. Delicious. Worth the trip! We'll be back!!
A perfect venue for lunch with friends before the Annapolis Opera performance of Carmen. Good service, food and wine.
As always, excellent food selection and preparation, and great and responsive service. Lynne took care of our every need.
My friends and I all ordered different dishes, but every dish was so drenched in sauce it was difficult to eat more than a few bites. It was very disappointing since the restaurant came highly recommended from the hotel we stayed at.
Second time as a guest. Our first time was incredible. Our waitress Anne was stellar.
Was looking forward to coming back. Totally different experience my second visit. Where we set had a lot of traffic over and around us. I had ordered baked ziti , and I was given an overpriced spaghetti plate. The waitress was very bland and non-attentive. and the waitress had said she would personally correct it. Only thing that was done was they added cheese to the dish and gave back ?
Making sitter another visit but will not use the same waitress I will not accept a plate I did not order.
Per usual, our service was spot on, and the food was served hot and it was delicious . If you have not been to this restaurant you should go. Nice place for a date or a special occasion or just a night out dining.
Great location and easy to get in and out. Love the service and the food was delicious!
Great lunch and wine list!
Parking was an issue- hotel next door was full, no valet & no spots open. My partner ordered chicken parmigiana, he was disappointed to find chicken patties. It was restaurant week in town, service was sketchy that night. Had to track our server down to take our order, bring dessert & then the check. Not her fault- she was clearly in the weeds. This was my 2nd time there. 1st time about 3 years ago was quite a different story- everything was superb.
The food and service were absolutely wonderful. The only downside was it was very loud in the restaurant. They were hosting a very large event and the crowd was just extremely loud. I'm sure when that is not happening it would have been a much nicer date night. The prices are on the higher end but the food and drinks did not disappoint. The bartender did make the best espresso martini I have ever had! We will definitely return!
We decided to go with the restaurant week pre-fixe as our dinner choice. The portions were small and we were all a little hungry after we finished. The food however, was delicious, as always.
