I ordered a Risoto Pescatore, with lots of expectations as this was not my first time at Casalinga and food was delicious the first time we came. The Risoto was way to greasy, rice was floating in oil, suggest that in the future the cook replaces some of the oil for broth.

The food was hit an miss. I found the arugula salad to be very underwhelming, for $17 you get a handful of arugula toped off with 3 cherry tomatoes cut in half, 3 pear slices and 6 small parmesan shavings. It was lacking in flavour and ingredients. The pastas were good. The branzino feature was just okay: the fish was overcooked and dry. Next time I would stick to pizzas/pastas staples.

A very nice Valentines Day lunch. We split an arugula and grilled veggie salad to start. Then our mains were spaghetti with shrimp and rapini in oil and garlic, and spaghetti with clams, scallops and shrimp in oil and garlic. Everything was delicious!

Birthday. We received a warm welcome with Birthday wishes and a choice of seatings. We did not have to wait too long for our server to introduce himself and offered us water and explained the food specials. We chose the Sea-bass it was delicious!

We both had the veal/chicken with pasta, veal & chicken were hot but both our pastas were only warm. Other than that the food & service was very good. Would also like to see a little more time between servings, the main came right after we were done our appetizers. Overall it was a good experience, & prices are reasonable.

Cool little restaurant...looks like maybe family operated. Food was good...went there with a large group of business people. Everyone ennjoyed their food. The pasta side dish served with my veal seemed undercooked...I know what al dente is and this wasn't it. Pizza crust was too thin... soggy and couldn't support the cheese and sauce. But it was tasty.

We have been to Casaligna many times for dinner but I have never been for lunch. It was a friend's birthday so I suggested to meet me at the restaurant and it did not disappoint. We both had pizza, delicious.
