Cava Ratings and Reviews
Food and service were great. Wish the portions were a bit larger. Other than that it was a great experience!
Great service, consistent great food.
Superb meal. Service was attentive and sophisticated. Even when they had to usher us out, they did it very well.
Cava never disappoints. Great service and amazing, super delicious food.
Super food as always, knowledgeable service staff, always a good time
Don't even bother ordering off the menu. Tell the chef what you love and he will make you a feast!
this restaurant is overrated. The seating is cramped and the table for 2 too small for a Tapas dinner.
Service is slow and disorganized.
the food is good but overpriced.
the wine is extremely overpriced.
Excellent food. Every dish tasted fresh and made-to-order. Definitely better with a group of four or more so you can try all the tapas!
Truly enjoyed it.
Slightly expensive but worth it for special occasion.
We eat here regularly. The food is terrific from papas freitas to paella to churros. The service is very good and the only problem is the noise--the sound just overwhelms you. But the food...
Amazing food! The service was exceptional! Definitely going back
Excellent meal! Great service. Especially loved the sablefish.
Fantastic restaurant that has been around for many years. Can't go wrong with any dish on the menu. Perfect for special occasions
This is a neighbourhood restaurant at the entrance of a small mall. The tables are well spaced, the service is efficient but discrete, the food has pretences. Some flavours are interesting but the Chef should aimed at more authentic and simple fare, perfectly executed.
Food was just ok. Service was great.
I would recommend not letting the chef select the dishes. It's great that you can bring your own wine.
Very good food, great bar service, overall a great restaurant! We always get the lam sliders, crazy feta fritters, and the harissa hummus. Avoid the oysters, waaaaay overpriced.
The sable fish was cooked to perfection. Care and attention to all the dishes that came out. The service staff was impeccable.
I often go to yoga down the street with a friend or my partner, then cava for tapas and wine...does a night get more perfect?
Came up from the US for a few days and decided to check tjis place out. Tables were packed so close to each other that we could hear the entire conversation at the next table. Noise level can be a problem. The Paella, along with the rest of the menu and wine, are overpriced. I thought for a second that I was dining at NY 5th Ave. Not worth the commute.
Very particular taste and niche menu not for everyone.
Everything about this meal was wonderful - we did the restaurant's most popular dishes and it did not disappoint. Will be going back very soon.
Always exceptional -- friendly , knowledgeable, and excellent food! One of our favorites in Toronto.
Service was excellent. Food was well cooked. Food came cold to the table. Empanello was bland. Octopus tender but sauce was bland. Nothing was over salted.
The food was exceptionally good. We asked our waiter to make the selections on our behalf and we were impressed with every single dish. The flavours were phenomenal. However, it was quite a wait (more than 45 min) before we got any food on the table. Our waiter was great as a whole but the first hour of service was very very slow. Overall, I would still recommend this restaurant 100%. One side note, some of the patrons were REALLY casually dressed- shorts and Birkenstocks on a Saturday night at a nice restaurant is a bit much in my humble opinion.
We went to Cava for my husband's birthday and we had a good time. We picked the 'let us cook for you' option and we loved the experience. Service was very good, but the food was on the salty side.
Excellent food. A tad over priced
Dining at CAVA is always a pleasure. With a group of friends who love food it's even better. Cava is a long time, much loved favourite of ours.
We introduced friends to Cava and they loved it. Wine list interesting but overly expensive.
I have been to Cava several times over the years. I have always enjoyed their modern creative approach to Spanish food. I found the serving staff knowleadge and informative about food and wine that they are serving. This time it was a birthday dinner for my companion who is also a vegetarian. There were good vegetarians options to choose from and they were equally delicious. When I made the reservation, I left a note to request a special desert for the birthday celebration, the desert was delicious and elegantly presented. Thank you, Cava for another lovely and enjoyable dinner. Look forward to returning soon.
We had a great birthday meal. Adam was very attentive and gave some excellent advice on Spanish wine selection.
We were very disappointed with our experience. The menu was quite pricey for the quantity of food. Worst yet, the paella had a hair in it. All we were offered was to wait a hour for another one or a full priced bill, no reductions. Regardless of the incident we will not return or recommend based on the overpriced lacklustre food.
Amazing time here, there was a corner seat that they provided when it was requested. Made it so much better for conversation.
Absolutely stellar food ,the service was spot on.would go there regularly but may need to win the lottery for that! The ceviche stole the show!
Was very nice food and service and I thought reasonably priced for the quality
Portions were fine for a small appetite and just right for me but a big hungry guy would likely have to order a lot of dishes which would make it a bit pricy
Modern Spanish tapas, consistent quality, good selection of Spanish wine and sherry.
Good but not extraordinary
Unbelievable Spanish food mid town.
The location and setting does not do this place any justice.
The food here is perfectly prepared with excellent tastes and pairings. The sweet from the salty mixed plates show a well balanced dish and complex pallet.
I enjoyed a selection of dishes and my favourite of the night was a simple appetizer with a Spanish Blue Cheese and fig on bread. The flavours were so complex we had to order another.
A great experience and meal worth noting. Unfortunately the space and location is not very trendy or conveniently located.
I look forward coming back for another round of amazing flavours.
Loved the poached foie gras! But everything was on the salty side...by the end I was so thirsty and dying for dessert.
Great food and friendly staff!! Had great time there .
The Culinary experience has transitioned,
especially the food preparation, from Excellent to Good unfortunately since new ownership and new chef ; nevertheless, the Service is always professional , cordial, and amicable ...
