   I got the Meddy and they completely forgot the eggs with dukkah and sauce which seemed like a very important part of the dish. When I asked for it, what they brought out was very disappointing. barely any sauce and it was watery, I couldn't taste it. The rest of our meals were equally unimpressive for the price. (18$ for oatmeal! Nothing wrong with the oatmeal, but just a bit of a gouge) I think it's understandable now that I know this is a hotel lobby breakfast spot, which are notoriously overpriced. Originally, when I looked this up, I assumed it was just a high quality brunch place so my expectations just weren't set right.

   LOVE their new happy hour - I was there with a friend on Saturday evening (from 9:30pm till closing). I really enjoyed their $12 cocktails (Old Fashioned, Maple Great One) and probably ordered way too many. I had been to Cavu in 2023 for Happy Hour and 2024 for lunch, but neither of the experiences was as good as my most recent one on Saturday. Will be back for happy hour for sure!

   Went for xmas dinner buffet . Bread rolls too hard, salmon bites too hard & tasted frozen. Crab legs not fresh. The rest of food and cakes excellent. Servers were very polite. Parking instructions could have been clearer. We pre paid $10 for 2 hours hoping for reimbursement but impark machine broken didn't provide receipt so no reimbursement.

   always a pleasure to visit Cavu! food never disappoints. Our food was really tasty and its always quiet to hold a conversation and enjoy ourselves.

   We arrived on the early evening of their 25th anniversary, but perhaps we were too early. The pizza crust was underdone (almost raw) and the salad was not memorable. We wish the space well on its next 25 years.

    - slow to recognize we're waiting for water & order - see employees talking but not coming over & had to go up to ask for service - waiter is nice; burger/chips is semi-warm but tasty
