I booked a reservation for 430 but the restaurant didn’t even open until 5. Management needs to fix this discrepancy so customers don’t a reservation when the restaurant / bar isn’t open.

Another wonderful dining experience. It's definitely the place to be when going to Colombus Circle. We hadn't been there for a few months and were greeted warmly by Chantelle ,the hostess and felt so comfortable. The food was terrific and listening to the music played by the pianist we totally enjoyed our evening before we left to attend the jazz performance at JALC. We'll be back.

We love dining at Center Bar. Its a perfect spot to have a relaxing time before the jazz concert.We enjoy the food and drinks,the vibe and the pianist playing requested songs.The hostess,Chantelle has always been friendly and we love sitting at our favorite table. We'll be back.

The Begum Playaneuron and I visited Center Bar for a pre-opera meal. The usual places were booked. Center Bar is mostly bar, but it takes advantage of the Prime Rib kitchen to prepare small dishes. The dishes were excellent - great Caesar salad, extraordinary salumi platter, excellent hamachi crudo with hot pepper oil. The first two were very large small plates - the hamachi was quite small. The restaurant is on the fourth floor of the Time Warner Center, with a lovely view of Columbus Circle and Central Park beyond. The service was abysmal - the charcuterie came without bread or mustard, which we had to request. Water came well after we ordered the food. The food came before the silverware and napkin. We ordered espressos - and we had told the wait staff that we had a Met curtain - but they hadn't come fifteen minutes after they had cleared the table and we had ordered the espresso. I went up to the desk to ask them to cancel the espresso and while I was at the desk the coffee arrived, They comped the espresso, which was nice. I suspect that one problem is that everything that doesn't come from the bar has to come from the Prime Rib kitchen, which is relatively far away. The restrooms were also in the Prime Rib. So, a really good small pre-opera dinner, and we will try it again because the food was excellent - makes me want to try the Prime Rib.

The small plates are pricey but the drinks were good, and the place is quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Seating was comfortable, and of course, the view is splendid.

They have not served food since reopening. If you are an upscale bar you need to have a food menu that compliments the drinks as you offered in the past. I had to go to the somewhere else for dinner...wish I had known no food would be served prior to making the reservation....

A wonderful ambiance and atmosphere with beautiful views of Columbus Circle, very good cocktails and pleasant and accommodating service. We highly recommend Center Bar for cocktails and civilized relaxation. As an added benefit, you may then stroll a few steps down the hall for a delicious dinner at their wonderful affiliated restaurant, Porterhouse.

Center Bar is an absolute treasure. Overlooking the Time Warner Center Atrium and Central Park, it is a wonderful location. The drinks were perfect. The service was amazing. They remembered us from a month ago. All in all - terrific.

Center Bar has not returned to serving food. My Dark and Stormy drink was not good. The Ginger Beer did not have flavor and that kick the ginger beer usually has. The waiter was terrific!

Ideal spot for a glass of wine and small plates. It's never too noisy so you can have a conversation and the view is my favorite. I love bringing visiting clients or friends here. Service is alwaya good. I do wish there was a greater selection of finger foods to SHARE.

We had reservations at 6pm on Christmas eve. When we arrived we were told the kitchen closes at 6pm. We were taken back, between the restaurant and open table, so you not believe this is something to be known when you book reservations? I have never booked a reservation to sit at a bar and drink. Very confusing.. once we showed our concerns, the staff allowed us to order food very quickly I might add. I do not think we will return.

Hostess was extremely rude. Plenty of spare tables and she advised a 30 minuet wait. I then booked a table online in front of her and she sat us straight away. We ordered drinks and there was lipstick on the glasses! We had high expectations and were extremely let down!

as a general rule, I love small plates, and the small menu offerings here all terrific. They range from good to outstanding. So even though the service is never that great – hard to get the waiters' attention, often have to ask for things twice - and it's a bit pricey for the quantity, the bill isn't is outrageous and the food is excellent and keeps me back in spite of being far away. must haves are the kale-duck confit salad and the grilled cheese.

Brief, pleasant spot to “whet the whistle” and have a small dish before a show or to plot strategy before moving on with dinner theatre. Catch your breath - and have a snort while looking at the slow moving red lights of traffic on Columbus Circle.

This is one of my fav bars to come and unwind, not to mention the great view of Columbus Circle. Service by Chris is outstanding. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Always accommodates my table request even when I'm alone. Food menu is short but well put together and delicious. I favor the salmon, Shrimp and different open faced sandwiches. Drinks menu is extensive and well put together. Juan is one of the most gifted bartenders I have ever met. His drinks are strong but well balanced, flavorful and refreshing. You know they are excellent because even with the ice, they don't get watered down.

Perfect for a spot of lunch and lovely glass of wine and also for a light supper before or after attending a concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Service is also gracious + friendly.

Really attractive setting on the fourth floor of the Time Warner Center, with a lovely view out over Columbus Circle, Central Park and Midtown. The food was quite good, the grilled cheese and accompanying tomato soup were delicious and the drinks were excellent. There was live piano music by the bar that really set the ambiance. Great place to go for a light pre-show dinner.
