Food was not served in time for concert so we had to stay hungry all evening. Restaurant made no apologies.
Wonderful meal with great service.
Service was excellent as usual. Food was on point as I would expect from Centini.
What a great place for Italian cuisine. The service was cordial, friendly and prompt. The prosciutto board was a great way to start and the veal scallopini was tender and flavorful. We loved our meal and will be back whenever in Calgary.
Great food and incredible service!
We loved this restaurant. The food is authentic and absolutely top-notch. Very pleasant and efficient staff. Great all around 👍🙂👍
Had lunch here with friends from out of town. Very impressed with food and service. Also lots of gluten free options. Going back for dinner!
Great food and awesome server!
My fiancé and I went for a date night and wanted to try something new. We arrived early and were seated immediately..there were very few customers but the service was quite slow but once our server came he was very engaging. We ordered our food but found the food very tasty but the portions were a little small. Hubby had an appy and a main and he left hungry and he’s not a huge eater.
Incredibly delicious food, wonderful service and a great place to celebrate a special occasion!!
The food and service were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for for any occasion.
My daughter has been visiting me from Vancouver. We ate out many times - she said it was the best meal that she had in two weeks.
Haven’t been to the restaurant in probably 5+ year. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. I cook myself; better than most chefs and I would have to say everything was genuinely on point. Price is reasonable and service was pretty sharp as well. Very solid by my standards no question!!
Nice spot. A bit pricey.
The food was very good; however, the service was not. Our waiter clearly would have preferred to be somewhere else. Attention to detail was not there. I hope it was an off day for them. This place should be amble to do better than what we experienced. I would go back for the food but probably won’t due to the poor service.
Amazing brunch experience for Mother’s Day. Pastries and pasta exceeding expectations.
We chose to go to Centini’s for Mother’s Day Brunch.
I have been to Centini’s for dinner a number of times and loved it. But this time was a mess.
Made a reservation and was there fairly early (due to our kids needing naps). Even though we were the first people there, we were given a table back beside the bathrooms and not in the beautiful front dining room.
Service was really poor. Even trying to flag a server for a coffee top up was difficult. It took three tries to find a pepper milk or salt grinder that either had salt or pepper and even functioned.
The food definitely wasn’t up to the dinner standards.
Maybe they had a junior guy in the kitchen for this “special” service.
The baked goods were by far the highlight. They should open a coffee shop with those things!!
I know I’ll be back to Centini’s but I’ll stick to dinner, where I can be more confident in the product.
Excellent food and service, however I was highly disappointed when the kitchen made an error with my entree resulting in my party of 3 having to dine while I waited more than 15 minutes for the correct dish to be served. Adding to the disappointment was the extended time required to correct the meal, which unfortunately placed us under an unanticipated time constraint to make our seats for a play. Naturally errors can happen, however the server/restaurant did not address the error despite our discussions.
Best Italian restaurant in Calgary! Service is always wonderful and they efficiently accommodate theatre-goers!
Excellent service, great food and a diverse menu. Staff very friendly.
I thought there was one too many tables... the waiters didn’t really have enough room to navigate and it was impossible for them to not bump into guests. Otherwise very nice meal and the service was good.
The restaurant was fairly full when we arrived. We had a nice table near the window for the four of us. We enjoyed a drink before dinner and everyone had a starter. Our main meals were well prepared and tasty. We also had dessert and coffee. Service was very attentive throughout. We had a lovely evening.
The service and food is always 5 star. We would visit more but do find it too pricey to visit outside a special occasion.
Food is delicious (crab sushi is amazing), service was not great; they were kind but inefficient and slow
Everything about this place is fabulous, just like the owner Fabio :)
Server did not pay us any attention and walked away twice while we were still talking to him. Perhaps he had a bad day but it did not seem like he cared to serve us.
Had the crab and lobster ravioli, soup and avocado salad. Food was excellent.
Appreciated that we were asked if we were going to the theatre, they expedited our service we made it to the show in plenty of time and the food was excellent.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and raved about it long after the table was cleared. We sat in the beautiful back room which only had 4 tables, so it was quiet and made it easy for the server to give us exemplary service. I found a gem on the wine list, the 2010 Domodimonti Petit Verdot at a decent price. I will go back!
Shortrib pasta dish was pretty small for cost and contained too much butter, if that’s possible haha. The cheesecake portion was too small as well. Overall good food, great service and stellar ambiance.
We had been here before when we had a great experience so it was with anticipation that we approached Valentine’s Day. As our past experience, the food was excellent. What marred the evening was the service or lack thereof. Front house was quick and efficient but our waiter (Michael) was slow, forgetful at all steps of the way. Two illustrations are a long wait for wine delivery only to be told our selection was unavailable and given a substitute (without being offered a choice) ; or waiting for a desert menu, walking by our table numerous times without the menu and we giving up and asking for the bill. Maybe we were foolish to be there on a busy night but our previous experience had been similarly busy yet the waiters had been excellent eg. We never had to pour our wine while with Michael we did
Some dishes a bit salty but tasty.
Wonderful food. Best chop in town. Professional service.
I loved everything about this restaurant, from the ambiance when you walk in and are greeted, to the impeccable flavours of our 3 course meal we had. I will be returning when I'm back in Calgary!
High class Italian food that is made with care and craft. The meals here are always delicious, and the service is excellent. The meals are pricey but with it!
Birthday lunch. It was lovely!
Our theatre date has been extended to include dinner at Centini. Dining here makes the whole evening something special.
I rated things we actually didn't experience... we had a reservation for January 2nd, booked trough Open Table to find when we arrived that the restaurant was closed! We didn't even receive any courtesy call. That's atrocious service and speaks loud in how they care for their customers.
