It’s a good place to try chinese fine dining especially the peking roasted duck. However, no matter what reason you might have and want to celebrate it in there, seem like you don’t get anything even a greeting card from the restaurant.

We reserved a window table and a peking duck for a Saturday evening dinner and were looking forward to it. We wanted to love our experience with this restaurant but the duck we were served was dry and flavorless. We understand that can happen from time to time but it shouldn't be the case at a Michelin-recommended $$$$ restaurant. The reservation process, parking, and service while dining were all great. The other dishes and drinks we ordered were amazing and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, all of the positives don't make up for the poor experience we had with our peking duck.

The waiters need to be dressed more formal and be more polite in introducing the menu instead of hinting customer to order more food. Definitely needs to be more educated on treating customers professionally in reflect to the restaurant standards thank you

Had the Peking duck, the show of carving was a nice touch, but found the duck a little dry. The food was fair, but I think the quality should have been a little better for the pricing. The service was exceptional though.

This is the place to go for Beijing Duck, hands down. The presentation and food quality is excellent. I recommend to bring up to 4 persons to try the duck. The soup for the second course is also good, lighter for the hotter summer months. I will try the other second course in the future. Remember to book your duck a few days in advance otherwise you won't be able to enjoy it.

Absolutely outstanding! I own and run a restaurant in San Diego, and I was in Vancouver for holiday. I went to Chang'An on a recommendation from a good friend and it was the best decision ever. The geoduck preparation was fabulous - and the service was spot on. We loved it!

I have been there multiple times The quality of the food is getting worse and worse, the price is however getting higher. Appro 100 per pp, the duck is disappointing and other dishes not worth the price at all. Won’t come again

Booked a table for three through Open Table and got a patio table. In the past , always sat inside. Would like to be told that ahead of time as they could not flambé the Peking duck outdoor. I was hoping my guests could enjoy that! Otherwise everything was very good, service, food etc.

Excellent experience. Food was very good, wine well priced and service attentive. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a wonderful sunset. The only negative was the booking process. It was quite unwelcoming as I booked at 8.15 and got a phone call saying the restaurant closed at 9.30pm giving me just over an hour to eat. Very strange way for approaching reservations. Something for management to look at.

Reserved a Peking Duck which recommended by friend as a must try, however, it’s only served as last dish of the whole meal made us too full to really taste anything special about it. Being a high end Chinese restaurant, this shouldn’t have happen at all.

Duck is too dry, can't taste the duck in the siio. smoked fish and crispy beef tongue are too sweet, only noodle is good but very small.

Delicious!! Worth it to preorder the peking duck. You get a bit of a show, and then they slice it at your table. Divine. I would highly recommend. Aso the wagyu rice was phenomenal!! The staff was so friendly!

service very slow. I got my drink; my wife's came seven minutes later, even though I said, "where is her drink." tried to serve main course while we still had our appetizer. Some language difficulty. Might be cultural, however. Gin selection very poor. For such an expensive restaurant, the gin selection should be upped in quality and quantity. Food, however, was excellent.

People and staff nice. Closed the place down. They did not rush us. Fun experience and not to crazy on price. My friend who thought the food was as close to what she grew up eating. I would go back
