Good service, good food - what more could you want, other than good company and I had that, as well.
Decent drinks, average food and below average service. Restaurant was half empty and we had to ask if we had a server after 20 minutes of staring at each other.
Maybe an off day....but I wouldn’t return.

Ok. But just ok. Prime rib was served cold. Close to 5 minutes from the time the first serving at the table was delivered until the final serving was delivered. There was nothing earth shattering that would make us want to go back.

The quality of food does not match the price. For 3 of us it worked out to $70/person and I wouldn’t have paid $20 for the food we received. The waiter was so busy it took over 25 minutes to get us water and cutlery. Our food arrived cold and the medium steak was raw. The food was returned to the kitchen and stuck in the microwave and returned back. We literally just ate to get out. They didn’t reduce price at all even when the manager asked how the food was and we said it’s not good. The knives were dull and unable to cut the food. Overall this is all hype and will never return. I expected to be blown away and honestly nothing about this experience was worth my time or money.
The service was terrible and it took 45 minutes for the waiter to even bring us a drink menu. We ordered medium rare steak and it was legit rare as can be so had requested to be returned. Then a manager or someone came by and had said because we waited so long for service, she would deduct our appetizer from the bill. Sure enough the appetizer was not taken off the bill and we had to awkwardly ask the waiter to please follow through with this gesture as we had been told it would be taken care of. Food was delicious- experience/service was terrible perhaps due to shortage of staff? Won’t be returning.
Unfortunately the restaurant was very busy and therefor service was extremely slow. The table next to us sat down and ordered after us, they got their food at least 15-20 min before us and were done and leaving before our dinner even came. Our server was good and doing the best he can but clearly the restaurant was overbooked for the staff/resources they had available. Unfortunate because the place is nice and food is good.

food was disappointing from the quality I remembered. daily rotisserie pork loin was dry and not very appealing. menu and interior need a refresh. staff were pleasant and accommodating.

If you like Charcuterie, this is the place for you! Everything is made and cured in-house. Don't forget to try the truffle gravy duck-fat fried poutine!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious, especially the salumeria and fonduta. Our server was fantastic and very friendly. Will return soon.

Normally the experience at Charcut is amazing and the food hits the mark, but unfortunately the service was not "friendly" and when the food was not as has i ordered it, nothing was addressed. The experience was, unfortunate that our server was not friendly, as he displayed a lot of indifference. Normally servers are gracious and enthusiastic about the food. Our server even made me feel inadequate, as I was simply asking about the steak on the menu regarding fat (I have medical dietary concerns so always need accurate details), and his response "well its a new york cut, so you should know what that is", then asked him regarding if it was marbled and his response was "i dont think so" so those responses made me feel stupid for even asking, again unprofessional in my opinion. He also did not describe the food well, all appetizers were SWIMMING in oil, when we were discussing the food he said it would be minimal and did not even see if the chefs could alter it s it would be made with minimal oil (most restaurants are able to accommodate this). My first steak was trimmed as I requested, but I was still hungry so I ordered another, the second steak hard clearly marked fat around the steak that could and should have been taken off. When I asked the waiter if the same instructions were give his response was yes, and then expressed how it was not the same and showed him, he then blankly starred at me and offered nothing. AGAIN terrible service. this experience honestly I wont be back, The food is amazing and all the other staff were fantastic, it was this waiter that made my experience sub bar and also the resulting negative affects on my medical condition were not worth the amount of that bill.

Amazing from start to finish. Perfect service with excellent presence. The manager on duty was very caring and welcoming. It was my partner's birthday and she was ecstatic with everything. Charcuterie offerings are of excellent quality and variety. Must try the Bone Marrow w/ N'duya. The Prime Rib was also perfection.
Food and service were amazing
The food was good, however the cacio e pepe is not cacio e pepe, it is pasta aglio e olio made with pepper rather than chili pepper flakes and garlic, with some cheese on top see photo of all the oil). Tasted good, but not what expected. My server was excellent.
First time in, nice place, but do not understand why there a so few Canadian wines on the wine list?
Steak tender and juicy, only one size, could be better. And next time, don't cut my steak, I can do that perfectly myself :-)

Fantastic food, varied menu, more ambitious concoctions than most Calgary meat-based eateries.
The giant meatball was a triumph, as was the freshly made spaghetti and rigatoni. Kudos also on the salted caramel and milk chocolate budino dessert - we haven’t seen that on any menu during our week travelling across Canada and uniqueness is what we like!
Service was amazing! And the food was also really good!
Went there to celebrate my husband's birthday, everyone was so welcoming and kind, we had a delicious stake and pasta. Definitely will go back for future celebrations
