When you want to have a memorable meal accompanied by high style customer attention, Charleston is the place to go. From the first portion of the evening having a drink in the lounge and throughout the evening, perfect!

Everything at Charleston was outstanding; The level of service was top rate. The food all expertly prepared and for $ 79 we enjoyed a 3 course dinner and a dessert selection is included at no additional charge.

This is top-end dining, serious food worship. A big city only supports a few places where it isn’t about price, it is about trying for perfection. I give Charleston 4.5 out of 5, every dish would have to be close to perfection to really make that 5, and they came very close this time - 2 of 4 dishes perfect the other two close. Everything else, people, service, etc was 5/5. I look forward to trying again soon, give another chance at perfection.

Enjoyed a special birthday. Service was attentive and helpful - and charming. Our server helped us pick the food combinations and the wine. All good choices.

Only glitch when when they brought 3 plates at the same time. Would have preferred the plate we were sharing to be bought, followed by the 2 individual entrees later

All in all, a lovely evening

It was a big anniversary for us and ask for a quiet nice table. We were seated right out where all the hustle and business goes on. Also one of the staff took my plate before I was done

This was only the second time at the Charleston and I was not disappointed. The food and service were outstanding. We had the three courses from the menu and I made the best choices (curry lobster soup, shrimp and grits and the crabcake. Dessert was also quite tasty. The price seems a little expensive but the experience was worth every penny.

Visiting Baltimore for a romantic weekend. Choose Charleston due to proximity to the Hotel and excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Short wait at the bar, and when we were sat we quickly opted for the special truffle tasting menu. The meal was memorable. The rockfish dish is one that will bring smiles to our faces for years to come. The entire experience was worth every penny, and it was a lot of pennies.
Cannot wait to return.

We dined this past Saturday at Charleston with our son and his wife to celebrate his birthday, their first anniversary and a Bon Voyage. The food, service and ambience were of a caliber equal to at least a two-star Michelin restaurant (too bad that Michelin does not deign to rate Baltimore restaurants). Our waiter, Josh, and sommelier, Linah, performed superior feats in navigating us through the menu choices and our self-selected wine pairings. We were seated next to the kitchen and able to observe Chef Cindy Wolf manage the preparations, as well as to meet and to congratulate her on a fantastic meal. We live in central Virginia at least 150 miles from Baltimore. But the trip and overnight stay is more than worth the culinary experience at Charleston.

Cannot say how special this experience is. The cuisine is prepared with care. Every dish is a party in your mouth. Service is well timed, attentive and unobtrusive. The wine pairings enhance the food, take the advice of the experts!

Our first visit. Thoroughly outstanding food and service, ranks with many of the Michelin one-star restaurants we've recently eaten at in France. Extensive wine list. Cornbread dipped fried oysters were heavenly.

It was a wonderful dining experience. We selected the three course dinner options, plus a cheese course and dessert, which was provided free. Each of the courses was beautifully presented, with a limited amount of food, but all were very tasteful. At the end, you felt pleasantly satisfied.

This is a dining experience rather than a meal. The prices match that. If you are looking to experience something special this is the place. The food is crafted down to the tiniest detail, as is the service. The wine pairings may surprise you. It is expensive but worth the price.

This restarant feels special from the moment you walk in. We started with cocktails in the bar which is lovely. 5 is us tried everything fron the soup to the scallop to the sweetbreads. Everything was delicious except for the appetizer with the fried green tomato. Service was, as always, impeccable. They forgot the birthday candle on dessert, but were very apologetic.

Dining at Charleston is always an experience, as it was this time. Of course the food was amazing, and it was really special for Chef to stop for moment at our table. Somehow, the service didn’t seem quite as superb as usual. Hosts were great as was bartender, and the semolier was great fun and helped us choose great wine. I guess it was the waiter—I just didn’t feel the usual warmth and comfort. Maybe just an off night. Otherwise, Charleston is worth the investment!

Charleston lived up to all of the great reviews it has received. It is certainly one of the top three, if not the top restaurant in the metro Baltimore area. The staff is exceptional. Very knowledgeable, courteous and discrete. Very professional.
The food is exceptional. Do not miss the lobster soup or the shrimp and grits. Both outstanding.
Go there now!

We went to Charleston for our anniversary. The staff was very cordial as soon as we stepped in the door. The restaurant was decorated elegantly and tables were spaced out enough that we did not hear other guests' conversation. The food was superb. The blend of flavor was very interesting and delicious. While the portion was more but a 3 course meal and dessert were sufficient for us. Overall, We really enjoyed our experience.
