    Our waitress and the manager were both very polite and attentive!! I loved the steak, I just feel I could have gotten more on my plate with the filet mignon. The rib eye could have been a thicker cut. Overall tasted very good though.

    We were seated immediately. Our waitress Victoria came immediately and asked for any cocktails, and told us the featured soup . We placed our order and told her of my food allergies. She recommended the strawberry dessert and gave us the history of it. Food was served prompt and was hot and very tasty. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be back.

    Well on a Saturday night at ONLY 6:30PM having waited for drinks (reasonable wait time and service) the 4 of us came out for the $50 Prime Rib London special there was 0 left. Which was disappointing since we drove from the Sarnia area and made the reservations 4 days prior. We have also noticed what you get for what you pay has dropped in quality. We have truly enjoyed this place more than the Keg but now are not sure going forward. This was also dinner our for our 29th wedding anniversary. We hope Andrew the MGR (not his fault but on a long weekend both he and Mike were off duty) this is a one off. My husband ordered the 28oz Rib Steak for us to share but found a third was hard. Not sure when we will be back after this one.

    The food was unfortunately undercooked for me and overcooked for my Mom. The server was really great and the restaurant is beautiful. Too bad the food prep and quality checks seems to have declined.

    Could not be more disappointed. First off the food was terrible…way over cooked. The server did not ask us how the food was actually she did not come over at all. When we were ready to pay she took a long time to come actually she served 3 other tables before bringing the machine. I will never go back to chop again…for what I paid the food was terrible would rather have gone next door to Harvey’s!!! Banned for good!!!!

    My husband had the prime rib and I had the top sirloin. Both were done perfectly to our liking and delicious. We also had French onion soup. It had so much flavor plus lots of cheese.

    Chop is our “go to” for special occasions. Friday we celebrated my birthday. All the staff were wonderful, but our server, Meg, was outstanding. She was attentive, but not intrusive. She took great care to speak to the chef about my partner’s allergies, and at relying his assurance back to us. She even got me my favourite dessert, even though a simple ice cream sundae isn’t on the menu.Our entire meal was outstanding. We will be back!

    Service decided the overall experience. Unfortunately the service lacked the most critical component, service. Our meals arrived by different staff other than our server. Not a big deal if our server would have reappeared within more then 2/3 throughout our meal. Leaving us waiting for salt, pepper, and a bottle of wine which we wanted to enjoy with our meal. After I waved down front hosting staff she finally appeared and we were able to enjoy a few (now Luke warm) bites of the rest of our meals with the bottle of wine. When spending +350.00 to dine. Food and service needs to be impeccable. It’s my favorite place to eat and this service becomes a challenge to convince my wife to go to Chop vs her preferred Keg. Server seemed new, probably needed few more shadow shifts before being left on her own to represent the service that I have been accustomed to receive when visiting your establishment. Hope our next visit is back on track.

    Advertised a “Mothers day Special” with “surprises for mom along the way” but there was nothing - no surprises, nothing special about it just a regular dinner. When asked, the server said “it’s special because Mom gets to order first and today is all about her” Other than that the food was decent and the server was attentive.

    I brought my mom to Chop for Mother's Day. We had a lovely time. We had a very warm reception upon our arrival. Our booth in the bar was perfect. The waitstaff were amazing! So polite, kind and fun!! We were never looking around for our waiter he was excellent and always came at the right time. We both had the Salmon with wine and dessert. It was all amazing. We also got a Mother's Day card signed by all the staff, which was very thoughtful. Thank you very much for helping me make a perfect Mother's Day for my mom!

    I had never been here before. My wife had been for business on other occasions so I thought it was time to try it myself. When our steaks came out, there had been an error made on how the steaks were to be cooked. The wrong steak was cooked to medium rare. The steak that was ordered medium rare was overcooked because of the mix up so it was being remade. Instead of remaking the other steak they attempted to bring it up to temperature which was a failure and ultimately that steak had to be redone too. Long story short, there were three of us and we all ate our meal at different times because of the errors and mix up’s. The manager was amazing. He was very apologetic and did everything he could to make it right. There was no charge for the steaks that were made wrong and they offered complimentary dessert for the table as well. The server was very friendly but seemed distracted chatting with her coworkers while drinks sat empty and problems with the steaks sat unresolved. I likely won’t be back. When I’m paying $50 for a steak I expect a certain level of quality and service. My expectations weren’t met here.

    The atmosphere was nice and as expected. The service was good, however it seemed to take a long time for the appetizers to come out. I ordered some bread because we were very hungry & didn't want to drink alcohol on an empty stomach. It came at the same time as the crabcakes. I would not of ordered it if I had of known they would be served at same time. The filet mignon steak was nothing special. I have cooked better ones a home. But overall it was good.
