Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. It was a special anniversary, the prime rib was half fat & grisle on 3 out of 4, the other 2 dinners were spot on. So then they brought our special dessert with Happy Birthday wishes. It sure wasn’t up to the usual standard we expected.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Chop Steakhouse and Bar. This is our 2nd visit to this location. Our steak dinner cooked perfectly! Thank you to our server for taking the time to go over the menu with us and his cocktails, alcoholic drink recommendations. Will come back next time!

Our Waiter Howard was amazing. He was patient. Took the time to share his experience and recommendations on each dish when we asked. He was very professional and courteous. When I spilled my tea he made sure to offer his assistance and brought napkins to help. He managed this very discreetly Thank you Howard!

I am a returning diner for this location and decided to try the Seafood Linguine that was advertised on the website menu. Upon being seated and reading the menu I realized that that option is now only a Crab Linguine. I didn’t enjoy this dish. It was very oily and would have been better with a medley of seafood items. Also instead of tomato sauce a cream sauce would be better.

Servers, drinks, restaurant and food delicious. The chop burger was so good! Also ordered the steak salad which was delicious except the steak was really stringy and felt like forever to chew before swallowing, next time I would get it with chicken.

I found my steak to be overcooked. Generally find the value from chop lacking in comparison to the keg. Quality and preparation of the meat is not consistent from visit to visit (whereas it is at the keg) given the price point is slightly above the keg, I would suspect better preparation.

We were having a hard time deciding on where to celebrate my 55th birthday, being from out of town we really didn't know where to go or even what to expect. But let me tell you, I'm so happy we made the decision to visit Chop Steakhouse. It was beyond anything we could've imagined. From the food, the service and the ambiance... everything was absolutely perfect!!!! I do have to state too that our server Gavin went above and beyond for our party. He was so attentive and accommodating. We felt welcomed, at home. So thank you "Chop" for giving me a wonderful, memorable birthday experience.

The table smelled like a dirty, sour rag. We moved to another table and that table smelled also. The waitress was great and wiped the table down with a clean rag, however the table still smelled. I’ve been to this restaurant over a dozen times and this never has happened. Not sure what happened this time. Gross!!

There is nothing really they could’ve done better. We’ve been going here for the last few years since it open and it’s our favorite place to go love it there. All the staff members are fabulous. Never had a bad experience whatsoever. The food is always perfect.
