   We have asked for medium rare and medium well steaks for two different people in our party but was passed the wrong plate by the two gentlemen who placed the plates to the respective person. We asked and they were confident. When the person cut open the supposedly medium rare steak, it was actually close to well done. Further, the food was very salty than the last time we were here. At the end, we were not that satisfied with the overall quality and didn't want to pay much tips. However, after we paid, the server came back and ask for more tips. This was very disappointing. Tips should not be mandatory. I will not return to Chop again after last night.

   Overall a nice meal. It was a bit odd that appetizers and entrees came at the same time (we didn’t request this). By the time we enjoyed the appies the entree was not as hot anymore. Cod was a bit dry but nice sauce. More fat on the prime rib than I’d like but nicely cooked.

   Food was good until we received our steak; which was suppose to be medium rare but it was closer to medium and it was cold. Server was not at the best as our table had dirty plates from our appies. We had to ask for water constantly; when our drinks orders were taken she would take it from 1 couple; did not check if the other couple was interested in a refill. Place was not that busy. Restaurant is a little too dark for my liking as we like to read the menu

    We fortunately were placed in a private dining for 8 otherwise the event would have been a disaster given the noise level from a large group of families with young kids. Our server Malka was excellent.

    We ordered the usual smoked ribeye and it was fantastic as always. Waitress was very helpful in recommending appetizer goat cheese dip and dessert pineapple bund cake. All great tasting. Only thing is that the interior is beginning to feel old/dated.

    I had the Steak Oscar and it was delicious. My husband and daughter had Prime Rib and they both enjoyed their meal. My daughter and I had the Pineapple Upside Down Cake for dessert. Best thing I ever tasted. My husband had the dessert trio. Good way to try a little of more than one dessert if you are not sure what you fancy. Overall food was great and our service was okay.

    I’m a frequent customer of chop. This location was en pointe with what I’ve come to expect of the franchise. My server was the most amazing one I’ve ever had though. She was very attentive and kind. I really enjoyed meeting her. Food was, as always, delicious.

    Ate twice in one week. In this week new menu & prices Meat was good, but not as good as last week. Beef was young and slightly grainy but was still tender. I preferred the beef from last week before the roll out

    First time hearing bread roll actually cost money! When I ask the server said it’s about $3 a basket of 2 rolls and because of inflation these days, it’s no longer offering free since a year ago. I still ordered 1 basket to share and when arrival, 1 pc of bread roll was in this basket……. I further question the server saying you told me there are 2 pcs and he said it’s a bigger bread roll and he said he will check with the kitchen and grab me an extra one, but when he return he said kitchen said this is a bigger piece of bread roll and that’s all I am getting. extremely disappointed with the service and a bad experience right after I order my food. Just add $1-2 into every entree and offer the bread! Who will question if you just add them into the cost of the entree??? I had to ask for kids meal drink, kids meal dessert too. Server never ask or mention what selection are for the kids meals. Sorry you just lost me as a long time customer

    Great Menu. A little dark inside but cozy. Found the booths a bit tight to get in and out of. Food tasted amazing. Service could have been a bit more attentive as far as refilling water glasses but very positive and professional server.

    Overall our meals were good but was quite surprised that my large order Prime Rib dinner had about 5 or 6+ ounces of pure fat as part of meat cut piece. I suggested to the waiter that the 'large' size order (they offer two sizes) was actually a 'regular' sized order then. He said "that is what people like and know that when they order their prime rib, the fat is like butter, people like that". I told him not for me, I like having meat not fat. It was certainly news to me about the amount of fat on their prime rib cuts (an probably would have ordered a steak then); I certainly cut off the fat on a prime rib/steak, I'm sure most others do the same. And that was it, got no other response from the waiter.

    Poor service and server was not attentive at all. Smoked old fashioned arrived with ice melted and smoke was already all gone even when the top was covered by cedar wood. Never had this happened before so the drink must have sat at the bar for a while. Steak was also over cooked. Server did not check on us until the steak was half done, which at that point was pointless. Towards the latter part of the dinner, server pretty much disappeared.

    Good flavours, I enjoyed my flat iron steak, delicious dessert sampler not too sweet it’s perfect. However, the prime rib was way too fatty and a better horse radish brand would be nice. I could have rate it as a 5, then again it’s all about the small details - our dessert was forgotten! Still will recommend

    Celebrated a birthday of 2 friends, our server was very attentive! The french onion soup has a bit of a bitter taste but the server quickly attended to our concern, he even helped us make a decision about the menu. The service here is amazing! Will definitely come back again!!
