Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All parking in the surrounding hotel is completely free for 3 hours upon license plate registration at one of the kiosks in the parking lot.     Enjoyed a lovely dinner for my dad’s birthday! First time dining here and it was such a beautiful restaurant. Katrina our server was very attentive & friendly as well. We will definitely be back

    If you want top quality service and food and haven't been here yet, make it a priority to go. The steaks are cooked as you like them with an assortment of sauces and sides. I had the filet mignon (11oz) with a garlic and shallot sauce. I chose mashed potatoes as my side together with the green beans and squash. My starter was a cesear salad. The wine menu offers a wide variety of choice. Our waiter was super attentive and full of suggestions when asked. You won't be disappointed.

    The steak bites were meh, and my prime rib was not cooked! The chicken was good though. The prime rib was rare like not even cooked!

    It was my first time. They welcomed us by serving a complimentary appetizer. That was nice. Three of us ordered the prime rib. That was delicious and great portions. I think it’s better than the Kxg. We’ll go back!

    Went for New York steak couple weeks ago and it was overcooked. Server agreed and brought it back for another one. New one was also overcooked, which both the server and manager agreed as well. Ended up getting a card for another New York steak to give them another chance. Went back couple days ago and of course, it was over cooked again. Also agreed with the server and manager at the time.

Especially like their flat iron steaks with peppercorn sauce with baked potato, appetizer brussel sprouts, mussels, sautéed mushrooms, and their mini trio desserts. They also have kids menu too! Our family had a great time, and will be back again! Highly recommended!

    I have always enjoyed going to Chop. The food and ambiance was so great. I was so happy that we had a Chop in Richmond. I no longer have to drive all the way downtown for a nice steak dinner. My most recent visit was just awful. The service was sub par, the crab cake was soggy, my filet mignon was burnt (like black) and dry. Prime rib was big but super bland and the cheesecake was very basic and probably out of a box. The plate presentation was just sloppy. I am truly bummed that Chop has turned into a restaurant that just doesn’t care about providing a great steak house experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

    They are so sweet to offer me a appetiser for welcoming my first time visit, and also a mini chocolate cake with hand writing on the dish saying “ happy birthday” which made the dinner complete! Definitely will recall with bring friends, or doing celebration! The staff even signed a birthday card for me which made my boyfriend and I feeling so welcomed and warm! The receptionist also read my request note to manage a booth seats for us. Our serve Sam and other staff really did a great job! Thank you so much, guys!

    Their prime rib was phenomenal, get the mega size for $5 extra, is big enough for two. Must try the Tuna Ahi Tataki, fresh and tangy, great appetiser to start dinner. The drink menu also offer great selections. The ambient was romantic and cozy. A 5-star dinning experience.

    It was our first time dining with the chop chain, and the food, atmosphere, and service were impeccable. We even got a free mini appetizer for our date night! Seating was wheelchair friendly with room to manoeuvre and not feel like we had to ask anyone to push in their chairs. The service was lovely; very attentive and pleasant waitstaff. I would have given 5 stars if the wheelchair button to open the door automatically was working, but apparently it has not been working for months. That was the only annoying thing. Otherwise, steaks cooked to perfection and everything was delicious!

    my prime rib and lobster tails were cooked to perfection. The best prime rib I have ever had. Our server was very very good, overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

    Took my mom and the family to chop for her birthday! It was her first time. Service and the food was beyond our expectation! The servers were all so informative and helpful and patient.
