Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night! All parking in the surrounding hotel is completely free for 3 hours upon license plate registration at one of the kiosks in the parking lot.     my prime rib and lobster tails were cooked to perfection. The best prime rib I have ever had. Our server was very very good, overall a very enjoyable dining experience.

    Food and service was great and in a nice atmosphere. Lexie (Alexandra) was our waitress and was very friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and we were offered free sparkling wine and my wife and I shared a very large steak. The steak, appetizer, and dessert were all very good. We're from out of town and enjoy coming here when in town. We will be back again as we have never been disappointed.

    Our party of 10 all enjoyed our different dishes from the Winnipeg Rye bread to the steak and lobster to the crab cakes! All of it was so delicious YUMMY! It was a little expensive but you get quality, great food! Worth the extra money!

    Food was very good but service was even better. Prime rib could be cut with a fork and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The whipped potato’s and vegetables were berry hot when they arrived at table. Overall a good experience for a quite business meal.

    We sat at a table for 25 minutes and not one employee came by to say hi, take a drink order, give us water. Nothing. We had to ask for menus because the hostess that sat us forgot them but then never came back with them. The table beside us got drinks and their order was taken and they were sat ten minutes after we were. So we just ended up leaving and went somewhere else. Pretty disappointing!

    Delicious! Jack, our server took care of us during our dining experience, he recommended a great selection of foods to try & was very professional. We definitely recommend coming here, parking was easy to find & free, the staff welcomed you as soon as you walk in and the noise level was quiet (7pm)

    We have asked for medium rare and medium well steaks for two different people in our party but was passed the wrong plate by the two gentlemen who placed the plates to the respective person. We asked and they were confident. When the person cut open the supposedly medium rare steak, it was actually close to well done. Further, the food was very salty than the last time we were here. At the end, we were not that satisfied with the overall quality and didn't want to pay much tips. However, after we paid, the server came back and ask for more tips. This was very disappointing. Tips should not be mandatory. I will not return to Chop again after last night.
