   My husband and I are regular clients of Chop Airport location especially during pandemic when there were only outdoor dining. We love the patio with the big warm fireplace. Unfortunately, our experience of our dining experience here took a dive tonight. Our hostess took us to a table in the Bar, when I said I book dining room, she abruptly said, “you want to wait?” I ask how long is the wait? She said I don’t know and turn around to leave. I call her back and said I want to speak to a manager, then she took us to a table in dining room. I saw there were 3 vacant tables where she could have seated us but chosen not to for no reason. The manager, Peter, came to to us and we told him what happened and said we want an apology from the hostess. She came to say sorry but she defended herself by saying we misunderstood her, then she walked away. When we ask for our bill, the waitress said Peter waived our 3 drinks as a way of making up. But we’re still very upset as how we were being treated by the disrespectful hostess! We’re so disappointed and may not be going back to the restaurant!

   Service and most of the food was excellent, my only complaint was prime rib large size was not really large And I asked for a rare cut , but was medium and a bit fatty Good tasting but a bit disappointing

   The service was very good - super friendly and attentive staff. We appreciated how quickly the food came as we were in a bit of a time crunch. Great assortment of red wines by the glass - you often don’t see that. The food was really good.

   It is a good place. Not bad, not great but ok. We had smoked rib steaks and not work the value. The New-York cuts were quite small. The meat was ok as well. Definitely not a wow factor except the price. Would we repeat? Probably not.

    We hit happy hour as we have before. Snacks and drinks are great. Do not enjoy being ignored by the waitress when she spends her time at at all male table that is doing shots, working on a great tip. It was comical to us , a smidge frustrating

    The service was very slow. Arrived at 6:00pm main meals arrived at 8:00pm. Three out four steaks were cold.

    The food is always awesome here. This time our experience was dampened by the complete illogical management: we were to use our visa infinite coupons which say “never expires” right on the coupon. But the manager said we cannot use them because their special menu had expired. Really? They did let us use the dollar value but we were really looking forward to being spoilt and we had notified them on the phone and in this open table reservation that we would use our coupons. We showed them at the door when we entered but it wasn’t until we sat down to eat that they “rejected” them. Really spoilt my mood that night.

    Visited Chop for Winterlicious dinner. All food was very tasty. Ordered ceasar salad which was delicious and then 2 different mains for variety. The stake was great and decent size; unfortunately the roast was very thin and not much to work with once you cut up the fat off. We also ordered a desert .. the cheesecake was delicious but tiny ...

    We went for Winterlicious, the menu was good but they didn't cook our steak to what we asked We didn't want to make a fuss, we were concerned it would take too long so we ate it. It was enjoyable but we have had a better experience in the past.

    Winterlious Menu started with prime rib soup great order 12 oz New York it was medium ordered medium well. Waited 23 minutes for the 2nd steak and it was well done. Waiter was was great no issues with service the manager did come to the table and apologized for the experience. Didn’t end up eating dinner due to time.

    It was a birthday dinner and we opted for the winterlicious option. It was just OK. Nothing special. The highlight was the Caesar salad but the short rib and steak were just ok. I would not go back, better off at keg tbh. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Service was impeccable though. My cocktail was average. $180 for dinner for two can be experienced better elsewhere. Steak could have used more char. Cocktail was watered down.
