We did not get a server for quite a while. apparently there was some confusion about who was supposed to look after our group. Once that was straightened out it was good and the manager brought us some steak bites to make up for it, which we all appreciated. Thank you.

Family dinner out for son’s birthday. Steak was very good tasting but sons was undercooked, when mentioned they took back and cooked longer. Shrimp was very good, great garlic flavour. Sides were underwhelming, veggies under cooked and mashed potatoes meh. I was told the baked potato was very good. Pricey. Overall enjoyed, will go back to check out lunch menu as the burger looked so good in the picture.

Dinner and apps were delicious, luxurious ambiance and excellent service, however the bartender seemed a bit inexperienced and what could have potentially been great cocktails came out quite diluted from over shaking.

Amazing first time at CHOP! Food was fantastic, drinks were tasty and the service was IMPECCABLE. We were in the lounge and Sabrina was our server (no bias to her having the same name), but her energy was lovely, she checked in often to make sure we were okay. It was my partner’s birthday and they even signed a little card and gave him a coupon for his next visit. Highly recommend checking it out ☺️

We found the food to be lukewarm or even cool when served. I had the regular prime rib and another person had the large and they appeared to be the exact same size. I always love a good blue cheese wedge salad but this one tasted like the dressing was from a bottle and the bacon bits seemed like they might have been from a bag also. Oh well we went to enjoy good company. The only good thing was our server! Will we be back-probably not.

Our serving staff and manager were so accommodating. We had thought we booked dining room, but had in error booked the lounge. The manager went above and beyond to put us in a private dining room to accommodate a few in our party that have hearing impairment and put us in a quiet table. Our server was superb and went the extra mile to make sure our dinner was a great and safe experience (food allergies). Thank you!!!

Very good food. Had the prime rib and the chili garlic shrimp appetizer. Very limited selection of wines for the calibre of dining. Server was too focused on rushing our experience. A damper on our dinner.

Group of 7 Was always one of our favourite places However seems it has been remodelled and 7 65+ adults crammed in a booth does not make for comfortable dining Serving person cannot even reach everyone so diners have to pass down glasses and hot plates. All dishes were flavourful and everyone enjoyed although some meals warm not hot. What use to be a 5/5 is now 3/5. Will return with smaller party in future

This is our go-to restaurant for perfectly prepared fresh high quality dinners. We celebrate all special occasions here and recommend it to others. We have tried many other steakhouses in the past but once we tried Chop, we’ve never gone anywhere else. The smaller (9 ounce) portions of prime rib were as tender as butter and deliciously crusted. The side of garlic shrimp was delicately flavoured and cooked to point. The vegetable sides were roasted/steamed to perfection. Kathryn, provided impeccable table service; she was knowledgeable and friendly. Her timing was perfect without being lingering or imposing.

I love Chop. My favorite dish is the Oscar steak, which I usually order ribeye oscarized. I changed it up this time, and just order the normal steak oscar. I was very disappointed to learn that they no longer do the oscar with scallops and shrimp. Chop had the best scallops I have ever tasted, they were always perfectly done and delicious. So I figured I would try the new one. The steak came with this pile on top of it, which was crab, as soon as I poked it, it all tumbled off. The smell of the crab was so overwhelming which I found odd as I love crab, but this was really fishy smelling. I did try it with a couple bites of steak, but sadly no where even close to prior visits. I will never order the oscar again. The other thing is noticed after the big pile fell off, the steak was really charred, more so than normal as it is always good. Maybe the crab just turned me off, I dont know, I just know I wont be ordering that again, unless they bring back normal oscar with scallops and shrimp. Everything else was fantastic as usual. Our server was fantastic.

We went out for a date night and for fun we ended up ordering all appetizers and some veggie shareables instead of entrees. Steak bites, chicken wings, ahi tuna, chili garlic shrimp, lobster mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, broccolini, furious fries, community bread, mushroom and goat cheese dip, and chocolate orange mousse for dessert! Everything was AMAZING including the service! Will definitely head to CHOP again in the near future!

Excellent experience. My only complaint is that I asked for a quite corner table due to on of the guests being hearing impaired. We were first put at what I would say was the loudest table in the restaurant. After a request to move we were placed at an excellent table.

Once again a great meal at Chop - it was nice to see new menu items of which we did try the fall salad and really enjoyed it. Cole our server is great it was our third time having him as our waiter and he is a delight!!

Food and service was decent. Just a little bit disappointing that I made a reservation, showed up on time, and still waited ten minutes for a table to be cleared and got seated AFTER another party of two who didn’t have a reservation.

The waiters and waitresses were fantastic with their customer service and the food was fantastic. What prevented me from waiting 5 stars are despite having a reservation, there were no seats reserved for me as I was told to pick any empty spots. My special request wasn't fulfilled as there was no seat reserved for us in the first place, let alone a simple piece of paper with the message I requested. I thought the place doesn't do reservation for seats but when asked if we can change our spot, turns out they do reserve seats as we were denied to be moved because that seat was reserved. We waited for 30min before someone check in on us and found out we sat there with no menus while other new tables got the menus ready before anyone arrive, it's understandable that everyone was busy but these essentials shouldn't be missed. The staffs were amazing but the preparation was awful, not a great initial impression but the food was great

Dorothy provided us excellent table service. The wild rice and vegetables with the steak were skimpy. Lighting over our table was dull, created no ambiance, nor highlighted the food presented. As first time customers the complementary appetizer was unexpected, enjoyable and much appreciated (5 stars for service). Would we recommend the place....maybe!

Chops has been a standard go to restaurants for us. We found the food to be okay and not exceptional. The service was exceptional and the ambience pleasant.

Excellent food and service for our party for my dad’s 89th birthday. We all enjoyed it and the Chop was accommodating for our table location due to dad’s poor vision and hearing.

Katherine I believe was our waitress name. She was a very good waitress with lots of great service. Was out for birthday and special occasion. And she was a great part of our chop experience
