It was not magical. To celebrate our 39th Wedding Anniversary, we made a Magical Dining Reservation 3 weeks in advance at Christini’s, asked for a booth table. We have lived in Orlando for 23 years, but never dined at Christini’s, so we were both very excited to have dinner there. We arrived and we’re warmly greeted by the host & hostess, wished us Happy Anniversary. Then to our surprise and disappointment, the hostess escorted us to 1 of 3 small tables in the lounge opposite the bar. The table was strangely setup for us to sit side-by-side on a padded bench seat facing the bar and front door, so we could see everyone who walked into the restaurant and they could see us looking at them, it was awkward. Except for 1 other couple sitting near us, everyone was escorted to a table or booth in the main dining room of the restaurant. I assumed they stuck us in the lounge because we were participating in the $60 3-course Magical Dining Menu instead of their regular very high-priced menu. The server tried to up-sell us to the regular menu & specials, but we told him we’re going to order from the Magical Dining Menu. Our server seemed a little upset/disappointed when we told him. We ordered a drink & glass of wine at full price $24-$26 each I thought was double the price they should charge. The food was excellent and a good value for the $60 3-course special. The service was excellent too, everyone was courteous, friendly and attentive. But the ambiance of us dining in the small bar lounge instead of the main dining room was very disappointing and disrespectful. Unfortunately, our special anniversary dinner turned out to be not so special.

Food was delicious. The service was above and beyond. I can’t even recall when I received service like that at a restaurant. My only complaint is that it is very loud in there behind just the noise level. It is difficult to hear anyone at your table talking if they aren’t nearly yelling. But that’s a small price to pay for the impeccable service and exquisite food.

We really enjoyed our meal here and participated in the Magical Dining experience. Although, we didn't think it was worth the $60 dining, it should have been on the $40 dining. They did charge us for "plain ole water" which we were not told about ahead of time and found out when we received the bill! We think we would try this restaurant again but not during Magical Dining!

So, we arrived ten minutes earlier than our reservation and the maitre D' had to ask us our names three different times. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and ordered drinks. Eventually I had to go ask the greeter if our table was ready. On a side note fantastic service advising they would bring our drinks to the table. However, they didn't bring my wife's Old Fashioned to the table at all. There was still some left in her glass. Our servers at the table were outstanding and the highlight of the evening. Lane and Juan were spot on, engaging and genuine. They took the time to answer my wife's many questions and Juan in fact suggested some additional items and had gnocchi delivered just to let us try it and it was outstanding. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for everything we ate last night. The servers were absolutely the highlight of the evening. We tried the sampler and the pasta was average. The calamari and meatball were both top notch however and the olives were the best I have ever had. My wife had the Mediterranean fish 'special' for her entree and it was superb but the au gratin potatoes were extremely salty and my wife had me try them and I agreed with her on this. We had to send them back. I was recommended the Veal Parmesan as I had previously had my mind set on the Veal pan cooked with bone in but was told the Veal parmesan was what made Christine's famous. It had way too much cheese on it and while it was cooked just fine it was overwhelming with cheese. The bread and dip when we first arrived was outstanding however. That dip is one of the best I have ever had, understated and I couldn't stop eating it. The spinach at $16.50 was watery and very average and not worth the price by any means. The booth we sat at was like sitting on a board and the back was also not comfortable at all. Today I have had some back issues and wonder if it is from the hard booth seats. The decor looks like it hasn't been updated in many ye

My hubby & I go here couple times a year. We were so excited that they participated in Magical Dining & invited another couple to join (they ordered off regular menu)! However, bc I don’t eat meat, I opted for the vegetarian option. Pasta appetizer was delicious, cheese ravioli for entree, cut up strawberries & raspberries for dessert, all this for $60. I felt like it was a rip off. Then we had to split the bill down the middle bc they don’t split any other way, which added another $100 to our bill. Very expensive dinner for some cheese pasta & cut up fruit.

We had a fabulous experience. We loved our table. Thank you so much…very cozy with nice energy as requested. The food was excellent. My Negroni classic cocktail was perfect. The service was beyond compare. Kyle and Nick were so professional and fun. The atmosphere was so intimate and romantic with the live accordion music, the perfect lighting, and decor. And the valet service was spot on. Very personable attendant. It took us over 30 year to visit this wonderful place, but we will be coming again soon with our daughter.

This was our first experienced at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in and met the hostess, the manager (Owner?), our waiter and the sommelier...we knew this was going to be an extraordinary experience...and it did not disappoint on any level. Everyone that helped us on this night was a professional at what they did, and it certainly showed. And the food was absolutely outstanding (carpaccio and shrimp apps...wow!).

The staff was wonderful. The food was super delicious. We had the appetizer sampler. It could have been a meal it was so large. The veal chop was wonderful. They have a large wine list and made great suggestions. It’s a great place for date night or for celebrating a special day.

It had been some time since I've been to Christini's. For no other reason than it's been a while since we've been to Orlando to dine. The overall dining experience was amazing. The moment you walk through the door you are met by immensely friendly staff. Whenever we have the chance to travel to, or through, Orlando, we stop to dine at Christini's. Note, I said dine, not eat! This is one of the best dining experiences ANYWHERE and not to be missed.
