Ciao Amici's Ratings and Reviews
Very crowded and loud— difficulty hearing our waitress Food was good
First time diners at least location. Did not disappoint. Wife thought squash ravioli best she ever had. Great experience and will return. Nothing negative. Excellent.
I love this place 🤙
Great Italian which is my Favorite and the staff is awesome
My server Celeste and Colleen are the best and so sweet always ask for them in the Bar area 😊🤙
As usual, perfect! I wish I could remember our server's name! He was very professional, caring, attentive. Especially impressive attributes for a young person! Thanks again!!!
Lovely food and very good value. The cup of soup and salad worked a treat and that meant there was space for dessert.
Our favorite Brighton restaurant. We love the service and quality of food. The prices are very reasonable.
Always good food and service
Definitely one the better Italian restaurants in the area. Good food and service in a nice atmosphere.
Wonderful food and ambiance. Will definitely be back. A new favorite Italian restaurant.
Wonderful restaurant. Mature wait staff that knows the menu and makes us feel at home. It’s our go-to choice in Brighton. Lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs are my favorites. Seafood dishes are superb. Haven’t had one thing I didn’t like.
The menu was comprehensive and the specials included wine, which was delicious. We had 7 people, shared 2 bottles of wine, and the bill was less than $250. The food was excellent and plentiful. We told others to go the next day and they enjoyed it as well. Our waitress, Bobbi, was so enthusiastic. She added to the evening.
Went for lunch. 12:30 during the holiday. Not that busy. Sat in the bar area which was our choice. Only table in bar area occupied. Waitress wasn't attentive. The manager brought out our meals which were luke warm. I have been here several times when busier and everything was excellent. I think they forgot about us in the bar area and unfortunately our food was not hot. Salad, wine, bread and oil very good.
I got the feeling that you were understaffed. The service is usually right on ... bread and coffee refills, etc. I don't believe she had time to provide all of that service.
Foood is always great! Management and employees always friendly.
My favorite restaurant, even though I have had to do a lot of takeouts in the past couple of years.
Consistently great food and service here! Ciao Amici’s never disappoints.
Typically I've had very good experiences here, however this last one was not that great. Our server was rude and inattentive. Also, although the food was good it was not as good as has been in the past. I'm not sure if there has been a change in management, ownership or if it was just a bad night. My lamb chops (the highest priced item they offer) appeared to be cooked on a flat top! I was really surprised by this because I've had them multiple times in the past and they were definitely much better and if my memory serves me correctly they were served with a mint jelly which was absent. Overall quite disappointing this time around; for the 4 of us our bill was $265 with tip and I feel like I got about a $75 experience!
Based on past experience I will give them another try.
Service and ambiance was great, but food was substandard for such a lovely environment.
They could easily charge more for better food and need to get a quality chef who can cook Italian food.
This was a holiday gathering for our group and I was really disappointed. Trip Advisor gave an inflated positive rating.
Robin was a fantastic server. She was professional, attentive and friendly.
The shrimp appetizer is delicious. Our server was on point! Everything was really good. Tortellini and chicken parm! Yum!
Great atmosphere, good staff who works with customer to modify menu to meet customer health needs. Good to see a Great Mom and Pop operation in the local area. Food has been very good in first four visits and hope to have many, many more there.
This place is always delicious with a great staff and wonderful ambiance. I always feel like it's a special night when I go here.
Dinner was wonderful. Family get together. They lived their meals.
We had reserved a table for 38th Anniversary. We were greeted by staff as we arrived - and wished a very happy Anniversary. Several staff came by to wish us a special evening. We had a very nice private booth table and it was intimate and rather quiet. Our waitress was attentive and also acknowledged our Anniversary. My husband ordered the Lamb Shank and I had the Chicken piccata
. We also had the lemon garlic shrimp as our appetizer.
I upgraded to the Gorgonzola Salad and husband had Minestrone soup.
We had chocolate fudge cake with vanilla bean ice cream for desert. It was a wonderful evening and we always enjoy celebrating special occasions at Ciao Amici’s. It’s the best Italian cuisine in the Detroit Metro area.
Excellent seafood chowder. Service was great!
Delicious food and wonderful service. Servers were very attentive. Good values on the wine list.
One of my favorite restaurants in Brighton always experience delicious cuisine, wonderful friendly service, great atmosphere just a wonderful place to enjoy fine dining at a pocket friendly price! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
This is our favorite local Italian restaurant! Delicious!
We’ve always enjoyed our lunch or dinners here. Waitress Lisa was engaging and professional. Very enjoyable experience.
Food and service were excellent! Noise level made it a little difficult to converse.
We love Ciao Amici. It is one of the most worth-driving restaurants that we`ve ever tried. Highly recommend for every Italian food lovers.
Had a reservation and was seated right away-that's a plus. Our waiter greeted us immediately and was generally good, but he could have been a little more attentive- drinks went unfilled for a little too long. You know what I mean?
I gave the food 3 stars because the tomato sauce is just not there. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I want phenomenal tomato sauce. I typically go for marinara because I love simple tomato sauce that much. Ciao Amici's sauce leaves a lot to be desired.
There are very few dishes with tomato sauce. I ended up getting chicken parmesan with penne on the side due to the limited pasta options with tomato sauce.
I upgraded my salad to their signature gorgonzola salad and that too was pretty bland. The dressing was flat, and nothing set the salad apart. The house garden salad looked (and I'm sure tasted) better.
On the plus side, the bread is really good! Not your typical crusty Italian bread. More of a sweet yeast bread.
Always great food, service, food and atmosphere!
Enjoyed a special night out with family. There was a cozy glow here that was so inviting.
I was a bit disappointed. I requested a table and they tried to cram us into a small booth. Food was just ok and overpriced.
Service and food were great! Love bringing friends there for dining
.My uncle and aunt came here visiting from California and we came to your place for dinner. Had to wait a few minutes to get our table, but it was well worth it. Waitress was wonderful along with the food. My aunt said that your restaurant was a very good choice.
We were seated immediately which was nice but the table was in the way of wait-staff traffic.
Our waiter, James, was friendly, efficient, and timely. The restaurant was very busy but he managed to get our drink orders perfect and quickly. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala . Chicken was hot. Potatoes and veggies were cold. My Butternut Squash Ravioli tasted like something you would get from the grocers freezer. Not a good meal. We did not take our leftovers home.
I am told this is unusual for this restaurant, that we should try it again. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Great food, as usual. Friendly wait staff. Warm atmosphere.
It was good food not great. I think the free bread was the best thing. They did offer soup or salad with the meal you don't see that every often any more.
We have always enjoyed this restaurant. The service this time was a little slow and inaccurate. It was busy for a Wednesday night and we did not get the quality experience that is normal for this restaurant.
Always a good meal. Seating is a little tight. I kept getting bumped each time the wait staff walked by my table. Good food at a fair price.
