Went for a business meal on a Sunday evening. Not packed out. Busy enough to be ambient, not too busy or too loud to not to hear my business partner. Staff were attentive but left us to talk which is what we wanted.
Veal chop was too salty to eat. Chicken Alfredo had to be sent back too little chicken and sauce. Too bad service was great and it's a terrific location. Won't be back
Came to try Cibo’s lobster Tuesday. It was pretty good! You get a whole lobster and can choose between lobster with asparagus, linguine or a risotto. I would recommend the linguine as I only got 4-5 small pieces of asparagus. The lobsters were good sizes too but I think it depends what gets shipped to them. Service was good too. Would recommend!
Server didn't seem happy that me and my dad were there. She brought the wrong appetizer twice(the second time I didn't even bother saying it was wrong again). I love the food there but the service kind of ruined it this time around.
Octopus appetizer portion should be larger
The service was terrible. I booked a table there for my birthday and my friends brought me a cake and balloons however they weren’t allowed to bring the cake or balloons into the restaurant. We waited at least 20 minutes for them to take our order and it was so hard to get their attention because they hardly checked up on us. Overall food was good, but service wasn’t.
Service was not on par compared to the other Cibo locations.
Great food great service ! We were here for a special event and the cibos staff made the experience very memorable! Highly recommend!
What we have come to expect. Very nice.
Went for dinner with my mom. I've been to the Eglinton and Yorkville location in the past and I feel like those were better. The bread was more soft and fluffy and the veal milanese was a lot larger. I ordered the steak this time around and asked for it to be cooked medium, but it was medium well - well done. For the price, I was hoping it would be a better experience. Definitely go to the other locations if you visit. Also, patio is extremely loud due to motorcycles driving by constantly.
Phenomenal dinner for two. Enjoyed bruschetta and shared two amazing pastas (one with lamb ragu and the other with spinach and shrimp). Great ambiance and the service is always first rate. Strongly recommend the wine list as well.
Great service. We went to CIBO for a late night snack accompanied by a glass of wine. We had burrata and fried polenta. Two great choices that went perfectly with Rose wine.
Really cool place! Amazing food and outstanding service! The Arancini and gnocchi were delicious! Everything was fresh and great portion sizes! We will definitely be back when we return to Toronto!
We ordered the jumbo fried shrimp, shrimp with spicy tomato sauce and grilled vegetables all were tasty but I could do without the grilled radicchio too bitter and mushy. I had the salmon it wear perfect my daughter had the fettuccine with chicken added she loved it. My husband had the calzone and he liked it but thought it needed more tomato sauce. The in-house made gelato was amazing. Great food and excellent service. Plan on bringing a group next time.
Food was good but not outstanding. Washrooms were a little neglected with poor signage to help you get there. ( No toilet paper in one stall and an "out of order" sign on another.) Service was fine eccept we would have liked fresh pepper and parmesan cheese with our pasta.
This is a great spot, especially if you come on Thursdays for the CIBO Sociale where glasses of wine are half off until 7pm.
Our waiter Sebastian was excellent. I chose one of his recommendations and it was delicious!
All around pretty great experience!
I was particularly impressed with the service from our primary server as well as the many other support staff. It was a perfect outing. Thank you.
Great Sunday brunch vibe...excellent service and good food. Thanks.
The food was very good but the service was slow but it was very busy. I will go back.
35 wedding anniversary. Mentioned it in the open table reservation but not recognized by the restaurant.
Great place for authentic Italian! Everything we tried was delicious, and the pizzas are big enough to split between 2!
Celebrated dinner with Aunt and Uncle who had turned 65. Food was spectacular as always. First time for our guests who also marvelled about the food.
So disappointed the fettuccine was not good. Chef didn't put salt in the wstervwhen cooking pasta, I could tell. He added garlic, which I love, but should not be in FA. My opinion.
My Daughter went here for her 16th birthday celebration with friends and the staff treated the girls very well. Food was delicious according to the girls and they loved the energy of the restaurant. I ordered mock tails as a special treat and the staff brought over several varieties to choose from. They loved that! Thanks cibo!
Food and service were excellent. The menu had a good selection of food options.
Came here for Father’s Day, food was great and service was excellent. Lovely spot!
Would not recommend this restaurant especially for brunch on Sunday. Have eaten here numerous times in the past and found the service and food to be great.
Unfortunately, we had brunch at Cibo today, and even though the restaurant was less than half full, the service was terrible. We had to wait over 20 minutes for a drink order, and after this point they were very quick to bring soft drink refills. When the bill arrived we discovered why as they charge $3.50 for each drink which consisted mostly of ice. We asked to speak with the manager who refused to come to our table, I’m guess customer service is not high on their list since the manager wanted no interaction with the customers. In the end it was the waitress who advised they had removed 2 of the 6 soft drinks from the bill. Imagine, a manager who’s responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction could not make the time to come to our table as requested. Failing grade for this restaurant. Will not be dining here in future and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Customers beware!!!!!
I went for Sunday brunch with my family for Father's Day and it was a great experience! The food was delicious and fresh and made to order and the wait staff was so pleasant and accommodating! We sat on the new patio which was perfect for a sunny Sunday. My only recommendation would be to add signs to where all the different food stations are so they are easier to locate otherwise you risk missing out on some amazing food!
Would definitely go back and have already recommended to others.
Thank you for a great Fathers Day meal!
Overall was great and fresh food. Will definitely go back
A lively and energetic resto! Food was good, ambiance even better. Service was a bit slow but overall, a good resto.
Great as always
Service was great.
The sommelier, Renee was exceptional.
She was very knowledgeable and efficient.
Will visit again.
Good spot on King near to theatre district - service a bit erratic food quality was very good , reasonable prices on wines and some on 50% clearance !
Somewhat crowded tables but good vibes
Great first impression. Will be back with a larger group and book a private room
Service was excellent. Food tasted really good and came quickly! No complaints about this restaurant.
