Server was so boring and had no opinions on the menu. The music level was far too low creating a very poor conversational vibe. Restaurant environment was beautiful and the food was pretty good. Compared to gusto and terroni I would choose those over cibo.
Alright lunch. Alright service. Alright everything.
Wonderful food and service! ❤️
Great valentines experience. Great food, wine, and service.
Amazing food and ambiance! My one and only criticism is that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable and tables a tad bit too small. Overall loved our experience and would 100% recommend this to friends and family. The food is amazing and service was beyond great. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the money
Sommelier was amazing. Nice to have a server actually give GOOD wine recommendations. Pasta was great too!
Food is great, must try the pasta. Music is a nice level restaurant isn't too loud you are able to have nice conversation at your table. Service was good.
Went here for a Valentine's Day lunch. The food came very quickly and tasted amazing. The server helped me pick a semi-sweet white wine. I believe it was Borgo Antico Bianco from Italy. This was definitely the BEST wine I've ever tasted and really worth it. The atmosphere was pretty quiet so great for having conversations. Overall, we really enjoyed taking our time to enjoy this restaurant and it was deifnitely a plus that we didnt feel rushed by the server or staff.
Staff is extremely friendly and the food was really good. Server was always around and checking up on us - and the wine expert was super knowledgeable!
Really intimate spot. The server was pleasant and polite. This was my first time there and I really enjoyed it!
Since it was my anniversary, i had asked for a romantic table or atleast a cup cake with a candle. Neither of these requests was looked at.
I did not find the experience anything other than visiting a restaurant on any other regular day.
It's one of the best CIBO locations I have been to. Staff is very well trained
Took my friend here to celebrate her 74th Birthday at Sunday brunch. She loved it as did I.
Will definitely be going back
My friends and I always go to Cibo for our bdays! Love.
The menu was large and food was really enjoyable. Cocktails were delicious. The service was good throughout the meal, but it took an hour to get our check and pay at the end of the meal.
Excellent meal for four. Fresh pasta the best.
Great service and food!
Went on a Sunday evening, had prompt service and enjoyed the warm ambience. The ravioli was delicious! Will definitely be going back :)
If you like Italian cuisine you really can't go wrong here. The food is awesome with generous portions, the ambience is cozy even though there's a lot of square footage and the staff are attentive but not overbearing.
Great service! Had the seafood linguine. Extremely satisfied! Server was helpful in choosing a bottle of red for my friend and I. Exceeded expectations!
We love Cibo and will continue coming back❤️
I do like this place but this was my experience.
Slow service. Lacking attention and could be short staffed. They charge $3 for bread and only after we asked, which apparently is a new policy. I would say drop it.
We dine at Cibo often for personal and work occasions. First time this year/recently - Surprised by the change in ‘table bread’ for $3 & chargeable pop refills. Was unexpected.
Have been here many times and was very disappointed with my experience this time. We sat for at least 20 minutes or more before our server came to take our order meanwhile all of the tables around us were being served. I had the spinach salad with penne alla vodka for lunch; the salad had a strong onion taste to it even though it was strawberry vinaigrette with brie and had way too much dressing and the pasta was plain and did not have enough sauce. Overall the meal was very underwhelming and I'm not sure I would go back again after this experience.
Great food and service.
Staff is nice but not sure where the missing link was, out of three orders messed up one food, asked my seafood pasta with white wine no garlic got it with red sauce and garlic. They brought the salad with food although we asked for salad to come first. Didn’t get the bread and olive oil you typically get, didn’t even offer it. The quality of food is always a hit and miss at cibo. Brought us the wrong bill at the end as well. This was a very calm Sunday night so not sure what the issue with all this mismanagement was.
Good customer service, great ambience, great list of wine selection. Maybe my expecting for the food was higher than what I got.( Bistecca ) The steak quality was not as good as expected and came in cery rare. We ask for medium rare... nothing than cannot be fixed 😆
Had reservations for 8:30 on a Saturday night and had to wait for a table to open up (additional 15mins) waitress was friendly Food was okay, drinks were good and fairly priced. Overall service was nice but became alil rushed towards the end of our meal. Would be willing to revisit due to the ambiance and value.
Way too many small children for an establishment advertised as a wine bar.
I spotted four separate parties with strollers on a Saturday night.
Not sure that CIBO can actually do anything about this, but still...screaming newborns is an immediate negative experience for me.
Also, seating was unbelievably tight in the dining room section.
There was a party of five seated at a four-top right next to us, which made it feel even more claustrophobic.
Server TJ was nice, and hot.
Would come back, but not for a night in which I actually wanted to have conversation with my guest.
Good food, great service, tapas kind of on the expensive side for the quantity.
Had a great time! First time eating here. Food was amazing, staff was good, environment was lovely. The only thing that threw me off was the fact that we were not allowed to have the birthday cake we brought in, there would be a fee ($5 EACH person) to cut the cake... I found that ridiculous. Every restaurant that I have been to always allowed that. Our waitress was nice enough to ask the manager if we could cut it for free as we did not know that was their policy when booking the reservation! As well, I think there should be a side or bread and/or salad included with the pasta instead of it being an add on with extra fee. Besides all that, wonderful experience!
This was my second time to this location and I way very disappointed in the food and service. Don't think I would return
My sister and I came for dinner before a show. We both got pasta and both dishes were delicious—their tomato sauce is amazing! Reasonable prices for a night out in Toronto and the inside looked upper-end. A nice selection and staff was friendly and attentive. Would love to come back!
Our server Heidi was Fantastic. She was such an outstanding young woman. We found her friendly and very much enjoyable. Our Sommelier was very good as well. She explained the different options and was bang on. Again another very friendly young woman.
Our daughter recommended your place and we went back the next morning for your brunch. We would definitely come back and recommend your establishment.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Not so busy on dinner Thursday evening, but servers were scarce and food could be better for what you’re paying for.
Attended for New Year’s, the ONLY negative comment I would offer is that considering it was New Year’s a complementary glass of a bubbly beverage at midnight would have been a nice, tasteful touch. Otherwise, all was amazing
One of our usual go to spots. Always guaranteed to enjoy the food and wine
Nothing about our meal was great, we tried to keep an open mind but were disappointed. There were 4 of us, we ordered 4 main dishes and 1 app. None of us can say we enjoyed our meal.
