Amount of pasta is too small!
Food was good but I thought lobster ravioli was too small.
I had a nice time at Cibo Wine bar on Yonge street. Got a relatively last minute reservation on line on the same day. The table was right on the patio for 2. The food and drinks were superb and it was a very enjoyable evening! (despite the noise factor while dining out on Yonge street).
Some items in menu unavailable. Steak was good but could have been better. Salad for salmon did not taste good. Salmon was great. Dessert was delicious
Food was sandy
Gave us wrong meal
Very good Italian food and good service. Very nice wine selection and plenty of options all around. Our server, David, was polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend it to friends visiting Toronto.
Nadine was awesome ! Food was also awesome! Thank you.
I usually go to Yorkville location and this is one was not as good. The food was below average and over priced for quality
The food was absolutely terrible. The fried calamari tasted like it was premade and frozen....not fresh....it was suppose to come with a garlic mayo which actually tasted like tzatziki. The mushroom risotto was under cooked. The bruschetta was also terrible. It was burnt buttered baguette with some chopped tomatoes. We could not have gotten out of there faster. Never again.
This our go to restaurant. We love it.
I've been to Cibo on Yonge several times, this was the best experience yet. The staff were very friendly. We were served by a regular sever and his shadowing trainee. Both were respectful, attentive and informative. I tried a different dish and loved it!
Food was good. Service was a bit slow because they were short-staffed.
The food is good in quality but the portion sizes are extremely small. The food is around $25 a plate so I wish I would have not still been starving when I left there; we had to get another meal elsewhere afterwards. The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Would not go there again.
Very poor service on a special occasion. Extremely slow, did not bring special champagne ordered or special dessert, slow between courses, not apologetic for poor service when raised.
Honestly, a great place for dinner! We went for Winterlicious and everything was absolutely delicious! Would recommend the lamb to anyone that likes fall-off-the-bone, succulent meat! Drinks were also super reasonable and dessert was delightful!
I immensely enjoyed the ambiance and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend Cibo to a friend!
It was perfect!
The menu had great choices. The food was delicious. The chicken Parm was sooooo fresh and juicy-amazing! The creme brule was the best I ever had. Low key want to go back for more!
The staff were really attentive. My waiter was very intuned with what I wanted and let me sample a wine I was not sure about. I had booked here after another Winterlicious place cancelled my res. because I am physically unable to sit on a bar stool.
Went for Winterlicious!! The food was amazing and our waitress really took care of us. Would totally recommend this place for dinner.
I really enjoyed the food and service. The ambience was great and perfect as well. I would definitely go again and highly recommend the place for a great dinner experience.
Great - found that the fish was overcooked.
Other occasions I found the food came too quickly between courses.
I tried the wintercilious lunch menu. The food is good, specially the short rib panini! Highly recommended! Very delicious and different. Also the environment is cool, warm and light.
Risotto was overcooked and burnt.
Serving sizes were quite small.
Extremely loud dinning space.
Overpriced for what you’re getting.
This was truly disappointing lunch. We decided to try the winterlicious this time, but normally we have the regular menu. I have never put sakt in my pasta until this visit. I had the chestnut pasta.. it as dry, tasteless and mushy. The dessert and starter was good. The service was the worst today we were served dessert in the middle of our meal and when it came the waiter never bothered to ask if we would like some coffee. We literally did not see him again after we ordered the food. It was pretty bad service.
Service was not great. Had to wait a long time and call the server when we wanted to order our drinks, then dinner and ask for the bill. She walked by us without even looking at our table.
The Calzone is delightful and it is a huge portion. It is fresh and lovely packed with meat and cheese. It exceeded my expectations. The waitress was delightful and very helpful. She gave us some chili oil.
We went to cibo for Sunday brunch. Everything tastes good, I wish there would be more selections though.
We had a group of 4 show up for dinner on a Saturday night .
While the service was warm, friendly ,
The food was not good!
Starting with the tuna tartare, which was very bland and no lemon flavours and did not have any capers.. both described in menu
Main meal was the paperdelle slow cooked lamb ragu. This was by far the most disappointing
2/4 of us ordered this dish.
1 of the dishes was served with very little sauce, it was dry
The 2nd dish was served with sauce that simply tasted like a tomato sauce and the lamb was not a ragu style at all, but rather they were dried pellets of something you may call meat? Hard to tell.
I’ve visited the Cibo downtown Toronto many times and have always been happy with the food.
This location was a complete let down for food and I will not returning here for a meal.
My experience was awesome I just wish they filled the
water glasses more. The food is so rich (In a good way) but
It makes you thirsty no matter how much out why do you drink
Winterlicious was fabulous
I enjoy the location. The decor is great. Food is always good. (I prefer this location to the one in Yorkville)
A little disappointing this time around after visiting many times before. The pasta was a little dry and bland. Desserts were okay as were the drinks, the creme brulee still had sugar granules instead of being torched completely. Appetizers were amazing and so was the lamb shank and trout. This is always a great spot with great food. I will go back! Service is always outstanding!
Excellent food, very comfortable seating, wonderful ambiance. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant!
Thank you for your positive feedback. We are thrilled you enjoyed your dining experience at Cibo Wine Bar. We look forward to seeing you again very soon! Best, Sarah K. Marketing Coordinator Liberty Entertainment Group
Nice ambiance, modern feel. Went for Winterlicious menu. Minestrone Soup and dessert of creme brûlée was very nice. I did not enjoy the lamb shank. It was tender but flavourless. Maybe I should have tried a different entree. Saying that, my date had the pasta and found it overcooked.
The wine was nice but overly priced.
I’ll try to visit again. Hopefully have a better experience.
Service was slow, food had too much grease and oil. Veal was recommended but it was breaded like a chicken nugget and had no taste. Not recommended at all. Avoid.
Excellent service, atmosphere and food. We landed on lobster Tuesday, thank you again!!
Great food service good improve not great customer service
