I came here for thé Sunday brunch buffet after finding a Groupon. The selection was very good. They also have discounted drink specials too. The only negative were some of the food could have been warmer and the plates could have been cleared faster. Other than that, we had a really great experience.

We had Sunday brunch using our Groupon. The spread was quite nice. We did expect to see more seafood but didn’t, no big deal. The carving station was a let down with the meat being cooked medium rare. The staff is nice. The pizza and pasta were yum. The cannoli....ooh!

I had a nice enough time at Cibo. The place looks and feels very nice and cozy. Servers pay attention and are helpful. I ordered the salmon and for the price I paid I felt the portion size was small and the flavour could have been better. Surprisingly enough the side orange salad and the asparagus were delicious and made me rank my meal higher. Pizzas are delicious.

Perfect for a girls night out! The food was delicious and the wine list had just what we were looking for. Our server was delightful.

Love the restaurant and ambience. Such a nice set up. I’m disappointed in saying that the value for money and what we paid for food and drink here just didn’t add up. Paying $20 something for a not so well portioned size of pasta, with not much to it was slightly disappointing. The location, ambience and decor here is amazing though and the service was good.

I feel that most of the patrons were Groupon users and the restaurant overbooked during the Sunday Brunch rush, causing us to have to wait 30-45 mins after our reservation time to be seated. And even then, the food ran out too quickly.

Upscale brunch buffet, a great variety of food selection and service was impeccable, our servers were polite and checked with us frequently to clear plates every time we went back to the buffet. The atmosphere was nice, everyone was cheerful and friendly.

Service was not up to standard. After being seated it took quite some time to be greeted and have our app orders taken. It was busy, but our server was attentive to his other tables but seemed to be neglecting us. I’ve been a server for a number of years and I really don’t expect too much, just a server who will check in and ensure I’m enjoying my dining experience.

Ambiance is lovely and modern. My daughter (19) and I took Grandma for lunch. She was extremely delighted with this “cool place”. The food was fabulous and service spot on. They were also very accommodating with my gluten free needs as I am a celiac. Their menu even notes which items are gluten free. A truly enjoyable lunch for the girls.

Usually I like Cibo and the service is great but our server was extremely sub-par this time. She was not busy yet did not give us much of her time. She rushed us to get our food order in, somewhat understandable since the kitchen decided to close early that night due to low volume, but we came in early specifically to order before it closed. She also seemed annoyed that we wanted the full menu even though we specifically came in early once we were called and told that the kitchen was closing early. She also took away our drink menu and wine glasses without asking If we wanted drinks and so we had to ask for both of them back when she came around next. She also took stuff from our table without asking and overall did not try to interact with us at all except when we were paying. The pear pizza, mushroom salad, and chocolate mousse desert were delicious however the gnocchi was flavourless and a very small portion for its price. Overall, nice ambiance as usual but I would hesitate to come back next time after this sub-par experience.

I didn't like, was a big line for pastas, they didn't have forks and napkins not enough food and options, took 30minutes to get a beer and 1 hour to get water!
cibo king street is much better, I will never go back to Yonge.

Lineups and waits for each station. There were not many stations. Short staffed at pizza, cannoli, waffle, omelette stations. Pizza took way too long per person and it was not worth the wait especially for a brunch buffet. Ran out of desserts and fruit; replenished infrequently and only with some of the options. Pasta took too long to come out (would come out 3-4 small plates at a time and everyone in line would grab one and you’d just have to wait again. Would not come back.

This was actually not our first time but it will be our last. I actually felt taken advantage of by my server. He asked if I would like a drink as I waited for the rest of my party to show, and did not actually offer the wine list but rather was happy to offer his expertise. I specifically asked if they had a house cab and I went for the 9oz but was startled when I got my bill that the one glass of wine was $28, res presenting approx 10% more than my meal. I don’t think for one second that was a house win. Not impressed and am in no way encouraged to come back

We had again, a wonderful experience with Cibo. Our hostess was friendly and attentive, our server Borjana was quick, helpful and very professional. We order three appetizers to share, all excellent. Pizza also ordered which we took some home. Two pasta dishes were also ordered and we exceptional and hot. My daughter had a great cocktail, must get recipe. My wine was delicious and the boys enjoyed cold beer.
We have been to the yonge location before and have enjoyed it then having us return. Love this resturant.

Come here often for business lunch. For some reason this time the food and coffee service took a long time. Also wish they offered us bread while we were waiting. Was hungry waiting for the food. The restaurant was not busy so not sure why service was slow. Food was good as always. Great lunch specials.

We were a bit disappointed. Our server was very good. The food was pretty mediocre. Toronto has so many wonderful restaurants, I would hesitate to recommend this one because it is not really anything special as far as the food goes. I told them in advance that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Not much was said and nothing was offered by way of celebration. That’s fine but not impressive, usually when we go out to nice restaurants they at least offer something small to the birthday person.

Having eaten at CIBO in Yorkville a few weeks ago, ordered the same Pasta Ragu. Yonge street version was very salty and low on Ragu and source.
Will return to Yorkville brach in the future as this dish in Yorkville was excellent.

I felt really bad for the server because he had no idea on how to server. I had to send back my pasta twice because he did not get my order right. They did not brought us side plates for our appetizer and they did not clean our table between courses. They ended up removing the bread and pasta from my bill but by that time I was truly over. cibo at Yorkville has better service. Very disappointed!

It was extremely cold, bright and loud on the balcony. This really put a damper on the evening. The staff was very helpful and accommodating but they were unable to stop the cold air or adjust the lights sufficiently. Although the food was good it was hard to enjoy in this environment.
