    The shelves were very very dusty where we were First seated. My son found gum from under table stuck to his pants. when you night starts off like that it just sets the mood.

    Our server was Mary, who had been our server when we've been to Cibo in the past. She is efficient, very pleasant and gets the job done excellently. The food as always was terrific.

    Very accommodating Food was delicious. We shared pizza and a green salad and had polenta f is and calamari. Service was very good. A little slow in a good way though. Did not feel rushed after each course and super friendly. Washroom needed attention - which I noted to the hostess. Definitely recommend overall.

    Our server was constantly absent! She was in a manager mtg, and then detained making smoked drinks. Why would a server be called to a mtg during dinner service with patrons at tables. Smoking is prohibited and yet smoked drinks permeated the air. We shouldn’t have to wave down a server. No bread was offered or served. It will be a while before we return and if we do, it will be for take out! Sad because this is a local restaurant for the four of us. Sorry, but LaVecchia and Grazie have got you beat on quality of service and food. Disappointed patrons!

    We visit this CIBO quite a bit - the staff, the ambience and delicious food go along well with our guests whether it is 2 of us or 4 of us - we always have a great time

    The food is exceptional and the dessert an experience. It was busy Saturday night and while some servers were pleasant, others were less so casting a bit of a shadow on the evening.

    Everything was great service, food till after our mains were done then customer service was no where to be seen. We had to ask different servers to call ours over to our table. Finally after 1/2 hour did someone take our dessert order, it arrived in good time then all downhill from there. My daughter ordered the raspberry sorbet and there was a piece of GLASS at the bottom of the glass that it was served in! One server tried to blame it on the ice cream company that makes it however I stopped him quickly to let him know it was on the bottom of the glass and not mixed into the sorbet. That could a very serious situation if my daughter didn’t catch that in time, she had it in her mouth! They did apologize and adjusted our bill accordingly.

    It was such an underwhelming experience. This location compared to the one in Yorkville doesn’t perform as phenomenal at all. The pasta was very bland, the cocktail tasted differently the two times that I ordered. Our server was clueless both about the menu and the drinks. I ordered Grey Goos martini and I am pretty sure the second one was with whatever vodka. The seafood linguini really tasted bland and I only had a third of the meal and that’s only because I was starving. The server obviously knew we weren’t happy with the meal but didn’t care to save the night. No going back for us for sure.

    We are returning guests and on this visit found the food consistent with robust portions. Once we (2 couples) finished our mains, our server left dessert menus on the table. It was 15-20 min before our server came back to ask if we wanted dessert/coffees. We declined and asked for the bill. 20 min later and no bill appeared at the table. Another 10 min elapsed, and still no server to bring the bill. We stood up from the table and finally she appeared and gave us our bill. We enjoyed the food and ambiance, but were disappointed with the inattentive service.

    Overall, I found it pricey for what was being served - small portions and not super delicious to be worth the price. Excellent bottomless mimosas, that was totally worth it. Service was amazing and attentive.

    Our table was upstairs in a nice quiet corner BUT the table beside us had little kids who from 10-11 were running around all the tables screaming and banging on chairs with no staff in sight. Food was overly salty. Our waitress was friendly but we only saw her once every 60 mins and 45 mins after we said we didn’t want dessert she still wasn’t anywhere to be seen so we put on our coats and went to the hostess to ask for our bill. She put a 20% “ tip” on top of the tax which was NOT earned at all. Can’t remember the last time I complained about any restaurant but this one really sucked.

    The vibe and look of the restaurant is nice, I'll give it that. Food was overpriced. Our mains were good but $22 for an appetizer of 6 fried zucchini sticks and a small handful of fried artichoke is way too expensive. Our server wasn't very attentive. We sat there with empty wine glasses and never once did he ask if we wanted more. We were basically ignored in favour of the table beside us. Perhaps the worst part was we had a table that looked into the open kitchen and near the end of the meal I could see several cockroaches crawling on the white tile wall near the pizza making station and above the container they keep the dough in. I said something to one of the other servers and she mumbled something under her breath and walked off. No one came over or said anything to us. Won't be coming here again.

    Our meal started off with tasty appetizers. However, the radicchio and endive salad arrived with large cubes of gorgonzola. The texture and taste would have benefited from crumbling the gorgonzola over the salad rather than placing large pieces on the plate. It also could have used a few more red peppers (stingy amount). I ordered the risotto with the fresh clams, mussels, and shrimp. The shellfish was cooked very well, but the "light" tomato sauce tasted like canned sauce (not an authentic light tomato sauce made from scratch) so it was overly sweet and there was far too much of it. Also, the rice used was not a good quality risotto. My partner order the seafood linguine, and the same sauce was used for the pasta. It did not taste of seafood. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

    Service was very poor. Our server was very slow and inattentive. It seemed as though he forgot about us completely. Two requests (one for ice water and a second beverage) were ignored and we had to get the server's attention to re-request. Dinner was extremely late in arriving, with no apology or explanation for the delay and the food was only lukewarm. Will not be returning. A shame as we had a prior experience earlier this year which was good and the reason we recommended it to other friends for a second visit. This was a mistake and embarrassing for us as we recommended it.

    This was my second time going to a Cibo restaurant and I had another fabulous experience. My party and I were running quite late for our reservation and the hostess was kind and held our spot an extra 45 minutes. The food and service was exceptional as well and my friends and I had a great evening. Get the lobster ravioli, you won't regret it!

    Excellent service and very friendly staff from the host to the server. Very disappointed to see that the trout was removed from the menu though. Bring the trout back!

    The food was terrible, not indicative of Italian food. Service is terrible, our waiter barely came around. Our entrees took forever, we had to speak to the manager because of the situation. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Expensive for the quality of food being served.

    We've been to Cibo, numerous times, and have always been happy with the experience. This time, the food was still very good, but the wait staff were very below par. They had to be prompted a couple of times to take our orders and the main waiter ( male - don't know his name ), seemed like he was doing us a favour by working there. Very diasappointing.

    We came to celebrate my friends birthday. Since I like the restaurant (I have been in 2 locations already on multiple occasions) I chose Cibo so our friends can enjoy a full Italian cuisine experience. I called the restaurant before we came to ensure we can recognize the fact that it’s my friends birthday and the hostess assured me it will be a good experience. We sat down and our server came just to take our order. Pretty disappointed with the service. As a server myself, I noticed that our server never introduced himself properly, never made any recommendations unless I asked, and even when I asked for recommendations for wine he just named 2 types of wine without being more specific as to what is actually good. Very disappointed as it’s Cibo Wine Bar. The server should know a few wines and be able to recommend them. He pointed 2 types and said “if you want to spend more on this wine it might be better if you notice the difference”. What kind of selling is this? We ended up getting another drink because he couldn’t lead us to choose a wine. Afterwards he brought the food and never checked up on us until we were done (20-30 min passed) and he never came to ask how is everything, if we were missing anything, and overall looked like he’s not enjoying having us there. Very dry. Not the kind of service I was proud of when taking our group that has never been to Cibo for the first time. Lastly, as mentioned earlier it was the friends birthday that was never recognized at the end. The food tasted good but we all know what a good service does to an overall experience at the restaurant.
