New Year’s Eve
We visited CIBO yesterday to have NYE dinner and experience was absolutely a joke. Designated server never served us glasses of water, took the order and never came back. Did not ask how food was, or if we needed anything. The server who brough the dishes saw our table does not even have water, he had to get those for us. What we do not understand is, considering the size of the restaurant and number of tables and customers CIBO has, why was our server responsible to make cocktails at the bar the entire time? She was not a server for us, she was a bartender for the entire restaurant. Whenever we wanted to re-order our cocktails, water or even additional dish, she was at the bar making cocktails for other tables. A gentleman who looked like a manager was constantly visiting the table next to us, pouring over the wine and keep confirming how the dishes are. Was the couple more important that we were? We were left in the corner, never taken care of. Regardless of taste of the dishes, it was very unpleasant and unwelcoming, we will never return back to CIBO. We are a regular at another location of CIBO, we thought the quality stays the same for all locations - clearly, we were wrong. For $200 from our wallet, we should've gone to another place in the area for our NYE dinner.
NYE - good food & vibe! Sommelier helped pick a great bottle to go with :)
New Year’s Eve at Cibo was wonderful! This was our 3rd time at this location. Our servers were competent and simply lovely.
The food was amazing and just what we wanted. Coffee and dessert to end our meal.
Definitely see Cibo again!
New year Eve
Good was not a expected
Gnochi uncooked (I am aware of “Al dented” but they were simply uncooked)
Low value for $$$
Despite the COVID restrictions (reduced number of dinners) Cibo was doing a brisk business. We watched staff carrying numerous takeout orders. All indications of a popular place. Staff were attentive, the food was delicious and we did not feel rushed.
Excellent service from Nadine in a beautiful atmosphere!
I found the tables to be way to close given the dangers of Omicron. When I would sit back my head was no than a foot away from the person behind me and the table beside us was about 3 to 4 feet away.
Very expensive. They put a automatic tip on of 20%. Should be 18% with 20%optional.
I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was just the right amount of creamy and very flavourful. I was delightfully impressed by it because I know sometimes Alfredo sauce can be extremely creamy but only have a hint of flavour.
Foods were so great but I hope there were more strict social distancing between customers. There were no empty tables and some people were walking and hitting us although we were sitting at out table.
Brunch 11am December 26. Very few others. All was fine, but the brunch menu seemed quite limited — only
grill 🐙’s tough, grill zucchini dried,🍝w meatball’s x🥵@ all
Waited for a long time to be seated despite reservations.
Poor and arrogant service . Late and slow
Food has a foul smell and was not edible
We came in on Christmas Eve, it was packed and they were short-staffed but still gave us our orders quickly and timely. It's definitely a place where you splurge for food and drinks but the ambiance was great! We had fun and enjoyed our food so much. Thanks Cibo!
Decent food, and overall ambience.
Great overall! Only except the distance between the tables (too close). Do not look like following social distancing properly.
It was great. Food was great. Service was great given how busy it was on Christmas Eve with only 2 servers. Loved it !!
The food and atmosphere was amazing! The place is beautiful! We are already planning on coming back soon!
Honestly a little disappointed about the 1) increased rates and 2) food quality as the Cibo in entertainment district used to be one of my favourite italian restaurants and I thought that would carry over with the chain.. unfortunately not :(
Food OK, service not attentive, loud and cold when the front door was open. Not sure we would go again
A great venue for the quick business dinner. Nice food and a great wine selection at reasonable prices.
The hostess named Helena at the front was very professional. She asked for vaccine passports right away and seated us in a jiffy. She was very warm , energetic , and safe about COVID protocols. She scanned my vaccine passport which a lot of restaurants aren’t doing right now , so I appreciate It a lot.
Food was amazing, staff were friendly. Items arrived quickly.
Expensive and the food was mediocre at best. Would not recommend.
Food wasn’t great and it was pricey - chicken and salmon were both very dry.
Excellent food and ambiance. Our server Carla really added to our experience. We are looking forward to coming back soon.
Server was not good. my friend didn’t even get the dessert she ordered. By the time the server realized it was almost half an hour later, she said the kitchen was busy. But the restaurant wasn’t that busy, and she ordered a scoop of ice cream….
Pasta was undercooked. I’m hoping this was a one off experience, because every other time I’ve gone here the food and services has been exceptional.
The food and service here are the best around the area. We always leave very happy with the overall experience, food is very well cooked with lots of flavours and the perfect amount. Very happy returning customers.
We had a birthday dinner and wverything was great. First-rate!!
The restaurant modified a pasta dish for us, substituting ingredients. Music was a bit loud. Manager lowered the sound so I could talk with my friend.
Great experience! Server was so attentive and lovely!
CIBO never disappoints. Staff are always delightful. The food is always amazing. So many gluten free options! Also love that tables are well distanced and the 40 foot ceilings.
Great food, fast and friendly service.
Our experience last night was mixed. As for the ambience we found it quite noisy from the music as well as conversation. My main course of seared tuna and my husband's appetizer of tuna tartare and his main course of veal were very good. But my soup and the chocolate bomb dessert were just OK and the bruschetta was not very good. The service was excellent.
My server was exceptional.
Great food and wine. The waitress for our table was great with the food and drinks menu; provided great recommendations and knew exactly what we wanted.
We ordered the Giorgio pizza, short ribs, grilled octopus.
I'm not sure where to start but from entering the restaurant and being greeted it's was a very warm atmosphere. The food was simply amazing, delicious and the presentation was beautiful. It was my birthday & Cibo came out with a birthday dessert for me and not many restaurant so this anymore, it was very thoughtful. I will be back for more great food & wine! Thanxxx Cibo Staff 🤎
