I loved everything
We have been here (this location) before, pre-pandemic. Food was not very tasteful on this visit. My pasta was overcooked. Appetizers looked nice but tasted bland. Our guest ordered a Spanish Coffee. It arrived; no whipped cream. Asked for some; they could not accommodate. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Lots of other choices in this price range. Staff was friendly though.
Service was not very good. Food was okay. However, the lighting in the restaurant was too bright, considering I had a 9:30 pm reservation. It would be better to have the lights dimmed especially at that time.
The food was below average. I ordered pasta, garlic bread and sangria from here. Pasta was half cooked and so chewy whereas bread was so hard and dry to eat . I like the sangria though. It was really good. I would recommend to go for drinks and avoid ordering any food. This place is way to expensive for food and it’s not worth paying so much. I felt I could cook a better pasta at home for the price I was paying. Literally there cook needs to upgrade their skills. No offence
we had a great dinner with our family. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice.
It was our first time there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food and service was great! Will be returning in the near future.
Lovely great food
Good food, nice atmosphere
We very much miss the wonderful Cibo's buffets of the past !...but the food was delicious, and service excellent
Pasta, dessert, and cocktails are amazing. Pasta portion is a bit small for the price. Service was great. Nice patio, except traffic on Yonge is really loud and not relaxing.
Service was good, food was ok. We weren't told until we were seated that it was a 90 minute table limit - information like that should be provided at the point of reservation.
Food was subpar for the price. Many of the food items ordered came lukewarm and tasteless.
The food was alright for a place that labels itself "Italian", not really authentic; the sauce wasn't good, and a lot of the food was too salty. Not a great Italian eatery as far as other places in the city go!
We had a small gathering for my sister’s birthday and it was incredible! Food was amazing, service was over the top! With 9 people on the table, our food and drinks came out quickly, fresh and tasting incredible! First time everyone in the group had no complaints! Definitely coming back!
Alcohol is super expensive. Food is solid
Our server made my partner's birthday dinner extra special and surprised us with dessert.
Lighting, design, ambience and the food was incredibly amazing! We went there as a group and had a great time. A perfect spot for a date. It would’ve been perfect if the ssrvice was better. Our waitress didn’t talk much nor seemed happy.
Wanted to check it out after others suggested it. For the prices we paid to try out three dishes, we were every underwhelmed.
Food was not worth the price
Slow service/waiter did not come around a lot difficult to get his attention
I had requested a move to indoor if available when I made the reservation and that was provided. The service and food was outstanding, altogether a quality experience.
The chicken was burnt and the risotto was too salty. Disappointing for the price.
Wonderful time, beautiful venue
Great Italian food, kind staff, with little bit for everyone.
Food was great, but service was incredibly slow. One server attended to the entire patio it seemed and while she was great, we were left without water or attendance for 15 minutes after being seated and waited 30 minutes to pay the bill
Dinner out with family that I haven't seen in 16months .... sat inside.... felt very safe and comfortable... staff from entering to exiting were very attentive.... food was delicious..... it's in my neighborhood... I take pride in supporting my local community.....
Food is amazing here
I know it's been hard getting staff to return to work after covid, but service was very slow. It took far too long to get our cocktails/glass of wine!?
Found hairs on my plate for appetizers (manager was kind enough to not charge for the whole table, as we were all sharing and not sure which dish was the issue)
Food was not as flavorful as previous times we've eaten there (pre-covid).
We were celebrating 2 bdays, so also were kind to give our table a dessert sampler, on the house.
We were disappointed :(
Hope it improves soon!
The menu is extensive and inviting. It will take me a while to eat my way through it so I’ll be returning often
Good atmosphere and good food. The service was outstanding.
Service was awesome! The food wasn’t the greatest.
Hip and trendy place. Great drinks and food. We got the carbonara and mushroom risotto, both of which were delicious and creamy.
Always a great night out! Food, wine list and ambience brings us back.
The service was decent... Our apps came out very slow. I get it, it was first indoor dining experience in a while . My server got my pasta wrong - I was actually allergic to the seafood pasta he gave me but asked for the calms (allergic to shrimp, crab and lobster), unfortunately I gave all of the 5 shrimps to my boyfriend, I ate the mussels, however they do upset my tummy. Only 2 calms in this dish so I was a little disappointed as I had this calm dish in Yorkville a few weeks back. I didn't say anything maybe I should have because it did touched and made me not want to eat my entire dish. I felt bad because it was first day in door dining so I kept quiet lol very cute place overall though ! Some clarity next time to the dished we ordered would have been nice since a seafood allergy is different in most cases.
Food was good but on the expensive side (my pasta dish was almost 30 dollars with a gluten-free pasta substitution). Unless it's dressed in gold flakes or truffles, no plate of pasta is worth that much, imo. The wine selection was good - very nice Barolo on the menu (the Brunello was a subpar vintage, though, and just as expensive as the good Barolo, which had me raising my eyebrows...). Overall, I would recommend it as a place to go for drinks, but maybe not my first choice for food, as you can get food just as good for better prices elsewhere.
Nice evening. Good service. Pleasant waitress. Food was ok.
Always good food, cocktails and phenomenal service. Nadine is such a professional server. Not great to be sitting on the patio on Yonge with traffic in the heat, but after 7pm cooled down and was much better. So happy to be finally out and enjoying good food with friends!!
The food was delicious, but a bit expensive for the portion size. I don’t think that’s out of line for Cibo. Patio is quite nice, but yonge st can get very loud. Nothing Cibo can do about that! Would definitely go again
It was great just to be out, despite being directly on Yonge St., which may bother some as it could be a bit loud, but we weren't bothered by it, and it made for great people watching. Food here is always good. I understand we are just getting back into the swing of things, so my expectations for service weren't high, and everyone was very pleasant. After our mains were cleared we didn't see another server for about a half hour until we'd flagged one down for the bill. We had wine, so we were fine, but didn't have the option of dessert. Like I said, it's not a big deal, but pre-pandemic I would have thought this was totally unacceptable. Still enjoyable and I'd go back.
Cibo has such a great Keanu.
