   Fabulous winterlicious menu. Large portions and wonderful service. Nicely spread out tables on a quiet Monday so talking together was easy. A great evening out overall.

   Food was quite good. The service was beyond slow. The staff was busy but not at all aware of each tables needs. It took 15minutes before even getting water. Drinks came almost 45minutes after being seated. Good even slower.

   Unfortunately, this location seems to have changed for the worse from the way it was before. Although the main floor interior is quite nice, the basement is quite outdated, with bathrooms which need fixing. The smell downstairs was also not very pleasant. Besides our table, there were only three or four more tables with customers. The place is quiet but not in a good way. It’s as if there is no one going there. Lastly, the food. I am sorry to say, but the Eggs Benedict with the hash browns was as if it came from the fast food restaurant. Dry English muffin, hard boiled “poached eggs”, dried up sauce and hard and super salty hash browns. The americano coffee was watered down. All in all, this was not the experience I had expected from a Cibo franchise. It felt more like a diner on the outskirts of town. I hope things changed, as I used to live going to this location.

   Fun night out but the food was mediocre and over priced. A glass of wine was over $30. We won’t be going back. Too many great restaurants in the city to spend too much on a mediocre meal.

    I expected a little more for my buck The food was good but not authentic I was disappointed that they didn't have a traditional Italian soup ..pasta fagolli Now I know how chinese people feel about Mandarin This is the way this Italian feels

    Food was good but service was awful. Took over 20 minutes for the server to come introduce herself and ask if we wanted anything. Cocktails didn’t arrive until after appetizer was done and main meal was served. Could only get servers attention if we called her over and even then it took a while for her to come.

    Our waitress was AMAZING and the food was VERY good, but unfortunately we were sat in the middle of the restaurant and then they sat 2 kids right beside us, despite there being other tables further away. Literally they were touching our seats/us. Especially since we just came out of a pandemic, you could have sat that table elsewhere that wasn't so close to us. It was not busy at all. To make it worse, and not the restaurants fault at all, the kids were all over the place, even throwing their napkin into one of our food. Was very disappointed that we were shoved in this space when there was certainly other options.

    We have eaten at CIBO on many occasions. The new price list is crazy and it is not value for the food they deliver. Our soup had to go back because it was over-salted and when another bowl came it was equally as bad. My Nicoise salad was a pile of arugula with a few strips of tuna, 3-4 beans and hidden somewhere a few halves of tiny tomatoes - boring to say the least. The other 2 guests were reasonably satisfied, but considering the cost, this was not good value. Service was good.

    We waited a long time to be greeted by our server …and a really long time to get beverages and have our order taken. It was ridiculous, really. We had been before and invited guests. It was almost embarassing.

    Service was very slow to take our first order or drinks, then took a long time to get served. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. A secondary server was so friendly and helpful when we didn't like a drink ordered, she was so helpful and quick to our table. Unfortunately our main server was less attentive and it took a very long time to get anything as simple as water refill, or additional drink menus from him if we asked.

    Perfect. It was a special evening with special friends and Cibo made the night extraordinary. All four of us loved it. The ambiance was warm and charming, the staff led by Brent was attentive and helpful without being overbearing and the food was truly delicious. (My lobster ravioli was to die for!). As the evening ended, we began to plan our next visit to Cibo’s.

    General seafood quality was not representable - we had clams and mussels in both pastas and appetizer. They should have not served shell fish if they were not fresh at all. Very disappointed in their food quality, ambience and service were fine though. An missed opportunity.

    very much enjoyed our dining expereince and staff were very accommodating when I called to adjust my reservation. The wait staff were also wonderful. The only down side is we waited for a bit to get our drink order taken but the restaurant was full...however we could have used drinks right away.

    We have enjoyed many dinners in the past at Cibo Wine Bar, but unfortunately this most recent visit was marred by a floor manager who refused to acknowledge our desire to celebrate a very special occasion. We had requested a booth in the note section of our Open Table reservation, only to be informed by the hostess seating us that they “don’t really look at that”. Perhaps Open Table needs to be aware of this issue. While we completely understand issues of availability of tables, when we arrived for our reservation, one booth was available immediately while another was being cleared. When we asked why those were not being offered to us, we were told that the booths were set for five guests and both were reserved. Again, I pointed out that several of the other her occupied booths had two, three and four guests enjoying dinner. Once again, another exercise in excuses, those parties came in early and were leaving soon at which time the booths will be used for 5 guests, not allowed for four as was our party. The floor manger was requested to see if there was any way we might celebrate in the manner we wanted. She approached our table with a scowl and proceeded to deny any option for us to move. It was quite obvious she had either decided ahead of time that “no” would be her answer to everything, her foul mood perhaps an indication of issues more serious than ours but we were meant to suffer for that. She finally said she would check the reservations and see what might be done, then left never to return. Food was fine, dry veal Milanese but everything else was up to past standards.Too bad. Food should be the main measure of a restaurant but when staff treat frequent guests so rudely, the bad taste is hard to wash away. Fortunately, the excellent wine steward seemed to be aware of the circumstances and provided us with a couple of excellent recommendations for wine with dinner. She saved the night! Will we return? Not for the foreseeable future.

    Have always had good food here. This time ordered a pizza but wrong one came. Mentioned to server who apologized and asked if we wanted replace but had already started to eat and I told her now a big deal They offered to give us deserts When bill came they didn’t charge for dessert coffees or the pizza.wow! Without saying just took off bill We said we should pay for eating anyway they said no their mistake Now that’s customer service big time!! Won’t get that type of customer stevia cross the street at La Vecchia
