The food was good! Really good in fact. However, the service was lacking in enthusiasm and often slow. The two staff at the front door did not make a good impression on the restaurant. They may they require a manager to train them to smile.

The server we had for our 14 person corporate dinner was so terrible, I was so embarrassed I chose this place. He was a tall gentleman, slender, glasses, looks miserable. He talked to the guests with attitude, and one of them happened to also be his birthday. Literally brought the cake, dropped it on the table, walked away. He also never once checked on us to see if we were ok. Never recommending this place for even a basic dinner, let alone a corporate gathering. Get your waiter's attitude in check, and check your google review, it seems like he has multiple bad reviews.

Would have been 5 all around. Until I needed to use the washroom and I couldn’t because it was down the stairs and no elevator available. I have a disability and stairs are very challenging. This place does not meet accessibility requirements for all patrons and I’m surprised they received a permit for occupancy to open from City of Toronto.

We took friends for a 60th birthday and the service was absolutely horrible. No one pouring our wine or sparkling water. We asked for bread for the cheese platter . They forgot the bread and then they brought us a bread appetizer and charged for it. Nobody cleaned our appetizer plates and when they brought our main courses, I asked if they would like to remove our last course plates first. We asked for an extra plate as my wife and I were sharing our dinners and they forgot that as well. I understand it’s hard to get labour , but if you take a reservation for a relatively nice restaurant , you should be prepared to service the tables. BTW, the restaurant was not very busy either

The food was mediocre. The service was horrible. It's as if you have a restaurant run by rookies. The timing between meals were off. The portions have gotten smaller. The prices are higher and the service lower. No once asked how our meal was. No one asked how are the drinks even. And when the bill was requested. It took 15 minutes to get it and it was wrong. Won't be going back.

The restaurant has two levels. On the lower level the bar and seating are available, a large area for guests adjacent to the bar area and the open-concept kitchen. Very modern and appealing. The upstairs eating area sits above the kitchen area. At the time we came, it was very early so it was quiet for most of the time we were there. We had the green salad, stracchiatella soup, spaghetti with meatballs, paparadella with lamb ragu and pasta with chicken and pesto. Dessert was chocolate (hazelnut and praline) bombe. Salad was very good with a light vinaigrette.The soup was plentiful but very bland. Absolutely no seasoning. Blah! We alerted the server but received no comment from them. The spaghetti and the paparadella were ok but just ok. The pasta with chicken and pesto was a disappointment. The chicken were in cubes almost suggesting commercially processed. Finally, the dessert was good but I didn't taste any hazelnut or praline. But it definitely had a coconut aftertaste. Just an OK meal.

Hostesses were confused about our reservation. We informed the first hostess that our party was only going to be 4, instead of the 6 in our reservation, but she seated us at a table for 6 anyways. Later another hostess informed us we had to move to a table of 4. She was rude and unapologetic. She made us feel unwelcome. I have worked in restaurants for years and moving customers because of host/hostess mistakes is not acceptable. I will not be back.
