For the price the quality of food is lacking. Our starters were all lackluster, the bruschetta was soggy, octopus was overdone/rubbery. The mains were good, desert was alright. For what we paid I would have expected much higher quality, many other better Italian places in the neighborhood.
Food was excellent and the server was very helpful. We found the music too loud though and couldn't really enjoy ourselves fully
Food was sub par. Had to send our appetizers back and we didn’t want anything to replace it. The meatballs tasted like they were from a M&M frozen box . Not good. The grilled calamari was good and our server was very sweet. She wasn’t so attentive once the food was served however. Maybe she got busy. Should have gone to Grazie
We waited a bit too long to be seen at our table. After that, the service was great.
Serve was fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes and wine selection especially given all our allergies and questions
Great food and atmosphere even during covid
Overpriced food! The drinks came out wrong and took awhile to get them right (the restaurant was not even half full). Sitting outside on Yonge street on Saturday at 7pm was crazy noisy with traffic!
Food was good but not hot.
Expected same quality and flavour as Yorkville location but it was not.
Food is good but very expensive for what it is... It's overrated.
As great as the service and ambiance was , I did find it to be on the pricier end.
1 bottle of wine (mid tier) and one serving of beef carpaccio (with literally just 3 small slices of beef) ended up > $100.
Fantastic meal. Food and service were great. Wine was quite expensive and portions were a little small depending on the pasta we ordered.
Grazi Mille for the memorable evening! We came for dinner to celebrate son’s 23rd bday . There were 5 of us and we ordered the Funghi Pizza, fried calamari and Buratta for sharing. Then we ordered Shrimp Alfredo Ricotta Gniocci, a seafood combo and a salad . For dessert we had lemon ricotta cheesecake and Tiramisu (presented with the bday candle as requested) and some nice wine- compliments to the chef as everything was delicious and had the perfect amount of sauces and seasonings for our tastes! The server was lovely and was very helpful with our choices - she checked in on the ideal times, and we were appropriately distant from other diners . We also loved the huge table and comfortable seating by the bar & window. I would recommend this Cibo Yonge -Eglinton location (We’re going to try the other 2 and post a review on those) . Will we come back? Absolutely!!!
courteous and efficient service
lovely selection of wines
We had a good experience, service was friendly and attentive. Food was good, but not great.
Very nice server. Great food and cocktails.
Everything about this place is amazing. From their service to their food. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Everything about this place just spot on. The food is incredible.
Overall a great dinner, very creative cocktail list. Great food!
A very nice place for a date. Cocktails were not so good and no courtesy bread is provided, but overall, it was a positive experience. Thank you!
Great service. Food was excellent. Very nice to sit outside
Firstly, we love the food at Cibo but the service was sub par.
We ordered the foccia bread to start. The waiter forgot. We watched it coming out of the oven hot and the tables around us all got one. So, we had to flag the waiter down (which was tough) and got a cold one that arrived at the same time as the salad.
We had to keep asking for refills of our cokes and frequently sat with no drink. I ordered Parmesan with our salad and it didn’t come.
We requested a booth on the reservation and did not get one.
Now we would understand if it was very busy but it was not.
The previous time we went right before COVID-19, we were sat beside the cold door and the waitress knocked off the massive decorative pepper grinder into my back which hurt quite bad. Other than a quick oops from her, that was it. I think a comped drink or something would have been a nice touch.
I hope that the wait staff receives more training on customer service as we love the food.
Great staff and food.
Beautiful decor...great and friendly service....great food and wine...very clean...I felt safe in this establishment
Great dinner as always.
Cibo was great as per usual. The food is amazing and the servers were very nice.
It was decent drinks food wasn’t amazing... better authentic Italian restaurants.
Very poor services
Great evening, food was delicious and service was amazing; food came out super fast! David who served us was incredible!
Great place, fantastic food. Only had poor service there once and even then, the manager was kind enough to make up for the service. I look forward to going back.
One of our favorite restaurant in Toronto!
Amaricano pizza was delicious.
Dirty table on arrival, bad and slow service, little to no ambience, decent food.
Great food.
Waitress was a little slow and didn’t bring menu. She thought we should take a picture Of the menu on our iPhone but didn’t bother tell us that. She took her time coming to check up on us for drinks as well.
Food was excellent. Very fresh and tasty. It was great to be out again!
Grilled calamari appetizer and trout main dish were very good.. specialty drinks lacked flavour... pastas were food...servers very attentive... we sat first row inside with doors open to outside as we felt nervous being on patio on Yonge street with crazy drivers
Patio was great, the food was amazing and the overall experience was very nice! It did take a long time to get our bill at the end, but overall a really good experience!
Food and service were fine, but we’d appreciate not having the a/c dripping on our table. Our server acknowledged this as a known issue. Poor decision by the restaurant to continue seating customers at this table.
The food quality was not the same as my last visit.
Always enjoy dining at CIBO, however think the appetizers are a little pricey. Also would enjoy it more if the server could wait until everyone is finished eating, before removing plates, only etiquette to do so.
It wasn’t great the food portions were small and didn’t taste good, it was so loud and no one was distancing
Great food as usual ! proper measure in place for Covid-19, less noisy than usual (great to our point of view!!! keep it this way!) due in part by less customers (Covid-19 requirement) but also felt the music was less intruisive.
