Cibo is a great spot for any occasion and gathering. I've been to all locations and midtown is always a cozy go to. Our server seemed very busy so he was forgetful on several occasions and the food this time around was average, but an overall pleasant experience.

The food is always excellent at CIBO, which is why we come here to celebrate all of my partner's birthdays. It's certainly worth the price. The service was excellent and the general manager, Brent really took care of us and made the experience even more special. All in all, we can't wait to go back!

Had a great evening at Cibo. Service and food were great. One downfall was the seating. We had a group of nine and it was pretty squishy. They wouldn’t give us a larger table and they didn’t offer to take our coats when we arrived despite a group of 9. Our jackets made our booth tight and not very spacious. I think they could have tried harder in terms of making our experience a little better in that sense. My recommendation is when you book to request a larger space or long table. Still a good evening though overall.

My husband and I loved this spot for a date night. The atmosphere was romantic and fun. We loved that we could watch the pizza oven from our booth. The lighting was dimmed at 6:00pm and a candle was placed on our table. Our server, Mary, gave us delicious recommendations on what to order and suggestions regarding where we were going that evening. She was professional, friendly, and helpful. For those with gluten intolerance: the in-house pasta is made with quality wheat flour straight from Italy. For us this meant that we could eat it with no regrets!

For our reservation of 5, they sat us at a high table in the bar area. They had placed chairs around the table, but it was not possible to sit and put your knees under table. Very difficult and awkward to eat. It was the only table that had this style of legs/frame. All of the other table were normal.

Great place. Acoustics aren’t very good. It amazes me that they can’t figure out what difference acoustic panels make. Otherwise A great evening and fully engaged staff. I do resent being handed the interac payment gizmo with a 20% tip rate as the default. That is sleazy. Is the 20% pre, or post tax? We know what it is supposed to be. I often give a 20% tip in a much less expensive meal….however this was not in that category. I gave the 20% and pointed out that the media has done a number of stories about this “presumption.” I’d recommend CIBO anytime.

I enjoyed the meal at CIBO, however think that the menu could have a few additional NEW items on it, as it does not seem to change much each time I have been there. However, I still enjoy taking friends who have not been there though.

I would agree with other recent reviewers, the service here is not great. To start, their front entrance is not clear (it's maybe being restored or something), they have 2 other glass doors that look like they could be the entrance, and when I tried one door the "host" who was standing at the host stand talking to a colleague basically ignored us until I tapped on the door. Then she just gave a lame wave in the direction of the proper entrance. It was at least 15 minutes before a server came to our table. He spent 5 minutes reviewing the menu verbally, not sure if this is a thing at this restaurant, but it is unnecessary. It is all clearly written out. Then I had to specifically ask that he take our drink order, which he could have done in the 5 minutes explaining the menu. We ordered a bottle of wine, which he couldn't find because the sommelier was out sick. So another 15 minutes before we finally had some wine on the table. Food order came out in good time, but the food server just basically dropped the salads on the table in no particular order or in front of the proper person. The food itself was good, albeit nothing special. The ambiance is cool, interesting decor and the noise level is not too loud. I could recommend this restaurant better if the service had been decent, but it was apathetic at best.

This is the second time i came back but this time i invited my friends because the food here are awesome and i would like my friends to taste it. And they loved it, they even have take outs. Our server was amazing. Very efficient and customer accommodating. It was upsetting that there was no vegetarian option in the winterlicious menu. Also for the portion received I felt the cost was high. Overall great ambience and great server. Only suggestion be considerate of vegetarians too and cost of meals.
