Waitress was lovely. Manager helped select the perfect wine for our dinner.
Very nice restaurant with (finally) good quality Italian food!
Our server was AMAZING. Really knowledgeable and made plenty of recommendations, also great to chat with. The food is good but not great. But a great atmosphere and really lovely interior.
Everything was great. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive.
We went to Cibo Wine Bar for a special 50th birthday celebration last Sunday and I had made reservations at both Cibo on King St West and Yorkville for Sunday brunch. I had made sure to call both restaurants to confirm both offered the special Sunday brunch - both hostesses on the phone indicated yes they did. We attended the Yorkville restaurant and were very disappointed to know that the Sunday brunch was only offered on King West! This was a big disappointment as I had planned a special event for my sister and friends. We were celebrating 4 birthdays. We ordered off the brunch menu and the food was good and tasty, however we had tons of fruit flies around the table. We advised our waitress but she didn't do anything about it but move the vinegar to another table. We ordered one dessert to share - this was not offered on the house even after telling the waitress that we had a number of birthday celebrations. Overall, it was a good dining experience, however could have been made so much better.
Food, wine and service were all amazing. We had a lovely evening.
Cibo has a great vibe and generally is always full of people. The food is overpriced. But that being said, fresh pastas and pizzas and delicious. Generally the services is amazing and quite attentive. However, this time the service was painfully slow and the server just didn’t care. I’m even with bad service I would recommended Cibo. Great vibe. Good food. Excellent wine.
CIBO at other locations is normally excellent. This location, our second time, is not. Our food was lukewarm, inappropriately seasoned and sloppy. We will not return.
Our server misunderstood a wine order, when we explained - he got incredibly confrontational and rude (voice raised, blamed us, insisted we were wrong). We were still charged for his mistake, when we tried to question this, he again got even MORE confrontational and rude. We ended up having to get the manager to fix the situation. One of the worst service experiences we've had in a while.
Amazing food was great
Sara was a fantastic server, and provided great recommendations and service. Will definitely come back.
the service was poor and our server was very rude to us.
the food was good but because of the service, I would not revisit this place.
Great place, but they didn't listen to my reservation request and sat us by the door :( that made it a less than perfect experience, otherwise, food was great and so was the service.
I was hosting a client dinner before going to the ROM friday night live event. The food was amazing, lots of choices, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and most importantly our server was awesome! she was very prompt and courteous and made sure we were out of the restaurant by the time we needed.
I would definitely book another occasion here.
It was my birthday and me and my friends went for dinner. Food was fabulous and all was enjoyable! Always a good time
The food was great, and the cocktails were amazing. However we were disappointed at how early they switched to their late night menu - we were hoping to order pasta and they only had pizza and some apps available.
Restaurant was nice inside and service was great but we were really underwhelmed and disappointed with our meals. They were under seasoned and quality was lacking. Too bad we had been looking forward to trying his restaurant.
Love the menu. The service is always great! and the environment is excellent.
Nice place and decent prices especially for Yorkville. Our fault for not mentioning it right away to our server, but we are pescatarian, and asked if the soup was veggie stock and asked for the Cesar salad without bacon. We ordered something that had meat in it but it wasn’t specified on the menu. The hostess actually was the one who questioned it when she brought our appetizers and pointed it out to us. She brought us the menu back and recommended some veggie options and put a rush order on our app. The polenta fries were delish. The ricotta ravioli in tomato sauce was kind of tasteless and the pizza with pear, honey and Gorgonzola was yummy but the crust was so soft and sought it didn’t feel like a pizza. The starter bread was delish though.
I’d recommend to go and try Different foods, maybe others would be better. Good service though, nice cocktails and wine list. Nice place for a date.
I usually love the clam linguine in a white wine sauce. But this time the clams were very gritty. Not pleasant.
Overall pretty good - the wine by the glass prices are quite insulting though
Great food and great service. Will go back again
The bread was stall which is unusual. Server also ignored our table.
Terrible experience. Service was once again poor. It took the waitress 3 times to get my appetizer right and over 30 min. They offered nothing but a brief apology. Not even a free glass of wine. The meal ended up costing $165 for 3 glasses of wine, an appetizer and 2 main courses of simple pasta. All in all expensive for way we got and poor service. I do not planning on returning. To whomever reads this, seek out other Italian restaurants in Yorkville. You run a better chance of enjoying a more pleasant experience.
Wonderful ambiance and décor. Great service. I don't remember the name of our waitress but she was very attentive and great smile!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Will definitely come back and strongly recommend it!
Nice time but long hair in appetizer. Pretty noisy. Good service
Went to the ROM, this was only a 6 minute walk away! Its a very pretty restaurant. The service was great and I loved our server! Our table was wobbling the whole time however which was a bit annoying. Me and my partner shared some amazing bruschetta, and I had a really big monster one soup. But my significant other was not pleased with his pasta dish which was $25! Overall, great experience, food was slightly salty, could be better! Would recommend!
Hostess ignored me while on phone when I arrived. She should have looked at me and smiled or nodded. First table we were shown to was beside the glass wall by the wine storage. There was a dirty empty carton on the floor. The person we asked to move it simply tossed it into a corner where it was still within view. Second table we were shown to had a glass top which was filthy...wiped obviously with a dirty cloth. third table was fine. But by then I was not impressed.
Server was a bit too attentive since she was told that we wanted to talk a bit before ordering. It wasn't busy and we felt rushed.
I had the papardelle with braised lamb. The bits of meat were hard to pick up on fork and the dish was not very flavouful but too salty. Coffee was very good.
Overall I felt the decor was excellent, cleanliness poor, food not that great, staff not well enough trained. Will not return.
Went for lunch on family day and glad to see it was open. Had really good food and they were able to do fast service so we could see our movie as well
As usual fantastic from start to finish already send an email to the managerVictoria about her whole team
Ate here a few months ago and loved it. Was excited to try it again. Rez were for 7:30~ got there around 7 and let them know we wanted to hang out at the bar a bit first. They were very nice about it, no rush at all. Love the bar area~ ordered our drinks and a charcuterie board which was delicious. Meats/cheeses/fruits. The bartender - Jeremy- he's the best. Went to sit at our table around 8:30 and it was no problem at all. We were seated in the lower level which was different than last time, but still nice. Quieter atmosphere down there. I liked it up top better. Our waiter was pretty quiet too. The bread they give you is amazing. I only ordered a salad which was good. Hubby had minestrone soup (good) and lasagna (i had some of it and it was delicious). Really enjoy it at Cibo and will definitely return.
Service and food was excellent. The wife and I had a great evening :-)
Arugula salad is great. Easy to stay in diet Great roasted salmon and asparagus
I had nice pastas at the nice fancy restaurant. Wine and gelato were also good. However, it was Friday night and there was little noisy. I and my girlfriend liked it. I’d like to visit again.
Great place so many staff have no clue how to welcome you I own a shop in the area like the food 3times in a row Iv been in my drinks show up after food
No one checks in and try to get the bill good luck
Brutal from that stand point
Other locations are great
Sorry I I’m really easy going but it’s so obvious it can be insulting other then staff you do a great job
food and service were excellent, but seating was terrible - despite the fact that we had a reservation and arrived early when there were plenty of free tables we were seated by the kitchen. the noise level in the restaurant is very high and being beside the kitchen made conversation impossible without shouting.
Went there for Valentine’s Day, got seated right away .
My food was undercooked. I usually go to the location on Yonge. Probably won’t return to the yorkville location again.
Cibo is a good for Italians food. If that’s what you’re looking for it great. I took my significant other here for Valentine’s Day and it was a good experience. I wouldn’t say exceptional, but it was about average for the money I paid. Would go again.
